The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 667 - 685 A Wave Rises Again (3)
Although the two hadn’t interacted much, they had met before. Victor nodded, suddenly sobering up.
He was momentarily at a loss for words.
Koa Jackson chuckled, "Still have the strength to curse? Seems like you’re really fine."
"You..." Victor hesitated, glanced at him, then at Mia Ginger next to him. Recalling her words earlier, he naturally believed it, and bit his teeth moodily.
In the same circle, you can’t avoid meeting each other eventually.
He had to give face to Koa Jackson.
He understood this, and so did everyone else, which brought relief to those who came with him.
They knew the matter would pass just like that.
Koa Jackson didn’t intend to stay longer, after bidding farewell to a few people, he put his arm around Mia Ginger’s shoulder and was about to leave.
After taking a few steps, he suddenly turned back and asked the duty manager, "Is there surveillance?"
"...Yes." The duty manager nodded.
Koa Jackson said coolly, "Show me the surveillance footage from earlier."
"Four Young Masters?" The duty manager glanced at Louis Cox.
Louis, who hadn’t spoken much since Koa Jackson arrived, was a bit dazed when he heard someone call him and nodded immediately.
The manager led Koa Jackson to the surveillance room, with Louis Cox and Dallas Taylor following along.
Koa Jackson mainly wanted to ensure Mia Ginger’s well-being. Upon reaching the surveillance room, the duty manager kicked awake the dozing staff member sitting on the chair and sternly requested to replay the surveillance footage of the corridor outside the public bathroom from earlier.
They rewound to the part where Mia Ginger appeared.
The few of them watched silently, and then suddenly heard the sentence, "What if I am Koa Jackson’s wife?"
The room grew even quieter.
Louis Cox and Dallas Taylor looked at Mia Ginger in amazement.
And so did Koa Jackson.
Watching, he suddenly couldn’t help but purse his lips and smiled, "Alright, no need to watch any more."
He turned his head to Louis Cox and said, "They were here during that part, find a way to handle it and avoid causing trouble later."
Louis didn’t answer but instead asked, "Are you two married?"
Koa Jackson looked at him and nodded, "Registered."
The simple three words left Louis speechless for a long time, standing there, after a while, he looked down at Mia Ginger.
He just felt suffocated.
Ever since the Myres Family incident, and even before that, he knew that this moment might come one day, but facing it for real was still a bit hard to accept.
He met Mia Ginger when he was a teenager; clearly, he was the one who noticed her first.
He was the first to come, and the one who stayed with her the longest, and the feelings had already seeped into his bones.
Louis clenched his fist, pressed it to the corner of his mouth, and let out a low laugh.
Mia Ginger looked at him and suddenly felt very uncomfortable, softly calling his name.
Louis stared at her for a while, then smiled and said, "I’m okay."
Mia Ginger couldn’t say anything else, and beside her, Dallas Taylor turned his head and walked out of the surveillance room.
Mia Ginger took a deep breath, and Koa Jackson, holding her, also left.
The two of them left the KTV, it was close to one o’clock.
The cold wind always has a sobering effect, and Mia Ginger took a deep breath and asked Koa Jackson, "What do we do next?"
"I’ll take you back," Koa Jackson replied.
"The school is already closed."
"Blossom Quarter." Koa Jackson ruffled her hair, "Stay there for the night."
"Huh?"
"What’s wrong?"
Mia Ginger laughed awkwardly, "I rented that place out to a friend."
