The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 663 - 681: Before the Dust Settles (8)
Victor Williams was completely unaware. He was just about to raise his hand to hug Windsor Myres’s waist when someone suddenly grabbed his collar. "Bang," a punch landed right on his cheek.
Caught off guard, he almost staggered and fell.
He raised his hand to wipe the corner of his mouth, his knuckles smeared with blood.
"Who the hell are you!"
Before Victor could finish speaking, Camden River grabbed his collar and punched him again.
This time, both sides of Victor’s face were swollen.
Furious beyond words.
Camden wasn’t much better off; to be precise, he was seething with rage, surpassing Victor’s wrath.
He hadn’t even glanced at Windsor Myres from start to finish.
How much did he hear?
Windsor Myres was in a jumble of thoughts, for the first time, completely bewildered.
Looking at Camden River’s stern, expressionless face, she didn’t even dare to speak, fearful that if she spoke, Camden’s fist might swing towards her cheek.
Camden River was several years younger than Victor Williams, although their heights were similar, Camden’s figure appeared thinner.
He got the advantage of two punches firstly because Victor was drunk, completely unguarded, and secondly because Camden was fueled with unstoppable rage.
After two punches, he slightly regained his composure, and Victor did too.
He lifted his foot and kicked him straight away.
Soon, the two were grappling with each other without any dignity.
Windsor Myres rushed over to pull them apart, but was pushed aside by their strength. After climbing up, she saw several men emerging from a nearby booth.
One of them she recognized as Victor’s rowdy friend.
Windsor Myres became anxious, only to hear someone incredulously shout, "Young Master Williams!"
Straight away, they stepped up quickly to pull him apart.
Victor Williams, gasping for breath, glared at Camden River, gritting his teeth, "Beat him to death for me!"
"Victor!" Windsor Myres quickly rushed over, spreading her arms to block Camden River, fiercely biting her lip and saying, "This has nothing to do with him. We’ll solve our problems ourselves."
"Who the hell has problems with you?" Victor wiped his lip corner ruthlessly, sneering, "What are you? What’s left of the Myres Family, still think you’re a lady now? Crushing you is no different than squashing an ant."
Windsor Myres stopped breathing for a moment, staring at him, her lip corner was bleeding.
Across from her, Victor’s gaze seemed poisoned; behind him, Camden River’s silent attitude made her feel even more suffocated.
Victor soon figured it out, his gaze fell on Camden River’s bruised handsome face, suddenly laughing, "Oh? Is this the boyfriend you mentioned, this pretty boy?
"Shut up!" Two voices rang out simultaneously.
The first was Windsor Myres, trembling with humiliation, the second was Camden River, cold and angry.
Windsor Myres turned to try to look at him. Camden River directly raised his hand to push her away, his fist swung again towards Victor.
The two nearby men directly separated them.
The sound of fists hitting flesh quickly resounded.
Right when things were untenable, a few people came over.
Mia Ginger’s expression froze, urgently shouting, "Stop!"
She quickly ran over to them, asking Windsor Myres, "How are you?"
Windsor Myres was pushed by Camden River, her forehead hitting the wall, bleeding, she looked vacant, "I’m fine."
Roy Anders went over to pry the two men entangled with Camden River apart, soon turning the scuffle into a four-man situation. Mia Ginger’s head ached desperately, Victor Williams pressing his lip corner with one hand, his gaze sinister, with another man supporting him beside him.
