The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 612 - 626 Koa’s Proposal (2)
Aurora Cooper started talking about Mia Ginger, and she always had a lot to say. Before she knew it, ten minutes had passed by with some digressions.
Aiden Jiang listened patiently, and a gentle smile appeared on his elegant and upright face.
Finally, he chuckled warmly and comforted, "You’ve had a hard time recently."
"..." Aurora was stunned, "I’m taking care of my daughter, it’s my duty, why talk about hard or not hard."
"True." Aiden laughed again.
Listening to his laughter, Aurora felt as if she was being praised for doing a good deed, and felt somewhat content. Then, remembering Bob Ginger, she quickly said, "By the way, there’s something else I need to tell you."
"Oh?"
"It’s about Bob. Mia and Dr. Jackson brought him over today. From now on, he’ll be staying with us so we can look out for each other."
"Bob?" Aiden fell silent for a moment, then asked, "Did something happen at home?"
"Huh?" Aurora was taken aback, not knowing why he was so sensitive, so she laughed directly, "Nothing. It’s just that Mia thought he’s going abroad soon and wanted to spend more time together. She went home at noon and brought him along."
"Oh." Aiden seemed to be lost in thought.
After a while, he said in a low, gentle voice, "Thank you."
"It’s no trouble," Aurora replied with a smile, "The child is sensible and obedient. Besides, the house is big, and it gets lively with more people around."
"Hmm." Aiden smiled slightly, saying nothing more.
Having said everything she wanted, Aurora thought for a while and then asked, "How’s work going on your side?"
"It’s going smoothly."
"That’s good, you go ahead and continue with your work. I won’t disturb you any longer."
"Alright. We’ll talk again later."
After hanging up the phone, Aiden turned to glance at Mason Sutton beside him. He thought for a while and then said gently, "Find someone to appraise my property in Cloud Capital. See how much it’s worth and if there’s a suitable buyer..."
"What do you mean?" Mason hesitated for a moment.
"Planning to sell it." Aiden’s voice was indifferent.
Sell the house?
What’s the point of selling the house when you’re not even there?!
Mason gave him a strange look, but after a while, nodded with a slight smile, "Alright, I understand."
"Hmm." Aiden acknowledged and stepped out of the office building, looking slightly distracted.
Aurora Cooper?
Aurora?
That’s a nice name.
It matches her temperament and character very well.
——
Cloudy Capital.
Jackson Residence.
After the drizzle stopped, Mia Ginger and Koa Jackson walked home together.
Both had their own thoughts on their minds; they didn’t say much on the way.
The Chancellor wagged its tail behind Mia, very tactful, not making a sound, looking very elegant.
The two and the dog leisurely entered the hall.
"Young Master Jackson is back," Aunt Lee, who was cleaning in the hall, greeted Koa as soon as she saw them come in. Looking at Mia, she smiled and said, "Mia is here too."
"Hello, Aunt Lee." Mia smiled politely.
Aunt Lee only needed to see the bright and enthusiastic smile on her face to know that her memory hadn’t returned much. She smiled and said, "It’s almost five o’clock. Are you hungry? Let me know what you want to eat, and I’ll make dinner."
"It’s a bit early." Mia was momentarily taken aback. "I don’t feel hungry."
"Then I’ll go wash some fruit," Aunt Lee said. "You two sit and rest for a while, and think about what to eat in the meantime..."
Before she finished, she looked at Mia and said, "How about having dinner right here?"
Mia glanced at Koa Jackson.
Koa Jackson looked up at Aunt Lee and said directly, "She’ll eat here. Don’t go through too much trouble. Just cook some porridge, maybe walnut and goji berry porridge, and make a couple of cold dishes. Keep the flavors light."
