The Trending Topic Herself: The Villainess is the Superstar!-Chapter 192: Malicious Assault
Health?
The world before was full of hardships and the food was coarse and unpleasant. After coming to this world, Maya Monroe focused only on enjoyment and indeed forgot the concept of "health."
Maya sat down gloomily and said nothing more.
Wang Ma quietly breathed a sigh of relief. She feared Maya would come up with some whimsical ideas, as Wang Ma believed no one could out-argue Maya.
Maya reluctantly picked a little green vegetable but still ate mostly meat.
Suddenly, Wang Ma came over holding a soup bowl, smiling as she served Maya a bowl of soup.
"Madam, have a taste."
Maya took a sip: "Not bad, just a bit bland."
Wang Ma laughed and said, "This soup was specifically instructed by the gentleman for you, said to calm the nerves. I thought corn rib soup would be a good choice, so I made it."
Maya paused with her chopsticks in hand, then continued picking at her food nonchalantly.
But then she heard Wang Ma’s worried voice: "Madam, this calming soup... did you get a fright?"
"...No."

Ryan Spencer and other bodyguards were protecting Maya Monroe by her side. They attended an interview today, and many fans were surrounding them outside.
Ryan said, "Remember not to run around later, the incidents from before always leave me uneasy..."
He turned his head to see Maya looking listless. Although she was usually tired, she didn’t look as drained as she did now.
"What’s going on? You’ve looked exhausted all day. Maya, didn’t you sleep well?"
Maya nodded, her expression slightly fatigued.
"I’ve told you countless times not to stay up late. Those gourmet shows are practically addictive. It’s not like you can’t eat, so watch less of them in the future."
Maya nodded again.
Seeing fans with flowers ahead, Ryan paused his nagging, tugging at Maya’s sleeve again.
"Your reputation isn’t great; people often think you’re putting on airs."
"Later on, remember to be more enthusiastic. There are a lot of media around; don’t give them anything to write about. Make sure to smile more. It’s okay if you’re not good at speaking; just make sure to smile warmly."
"Just like how excited you get about hotpot, you need to show the same excitement in front of them. Do you understand?"
"Hmm."
The moment they stepped off the steps, a smile appeared on Ryan’s face.
Actually, bringing so many bodyguards might earn criticism for being pretentious. However, Ryan still believed Maya’s safety was the most important; everything else could be set aside. Scandals could somehow be retrieved, but there was only one Maya.
As Maya walked down the steps, she saw a swarm of fans enthusiastically calling out her name.
Maya reached out and accepted a bouquet, with more being carried by assistants.
When fans requested autographs, Maya didn’t refuse and boldly signed her name, which danced across the paper.
The fans who received autographs were ecstatic, stomping with excitement nearly to the point of fainting.
Carried by the fans’ emotions, a faint smile appeared on Maya’s lips. She hadn’t realized her handwriting was so popular.
Ryan nearly stretched his lips into a straight line when he saw Maya’s signature.
If he’d known, he would have insisted Maya practice her writing more at the company, avoiding the embarrassment now.
Watching Maya boldly signing one name after another, Ryan’s face grew increasingly dark.
As time went on, Maya’s handwriting became more illegible, nearly impossible to look at.
Ryan had to quietly remind Maya to sign fewer autographs.
"Why?" The person seemed to have no concept of her signature’s quality. Seeing her raised eyebrows, she likely felt quite pleased with her signature.
Ryan paused: "Your hand will get tired..."
Maya hadn’t expected Ryan to be so concerned, nodding slightly to show her understanding.
All the fans, upon seeing Maya, were overwhelmed and rushed over in wave after wave to express their admiration for her.
The bodyguards continuously scanned the area, reaching out to stop anyone from pressing too close to Maya.
No one noticed the pair of resentful eyes hidden in the crowd, wearing a hood and a black mask, showing only those ruthless eyes.
"Hey, why did you bump into me! Aren’t you watching where you’re going?"
"Why wear a hat on a hot day?"
"When will it be my turn? Maya darling, look at me!"
Suddenly, a scream echoed; someone had been shoved to the ground, and those nearby were also knocked over.
The scene became somewhat chaotic.
Ryan frowned, immediately instructing the bodyguards to handle the situation. If an intentional trampling incident occurred, there would be no explaining it away.
"Maya, remember..."
Maya was still signing, gripping that black pen.
Suddenly, her expression froze, her gaze flicked to the left, then she grabbed the shoulder of a nearby fan to dodge forward.
The fan was pulled forward, letting out a sharp scream: "Ah!"
Then another wave of rising screams followed.
Because right where Maya had just stepped aside, liquid suddenly splashed, making a sizzling sound as small leaves were corroded away.
Everyone realized what it was, and the fans frantically moved aside.
Ryan’s mouth slightly parted, terrified.
He immediately instructed the bodyguards nearby: "Quick! Quickly catch that guy with the black hat!! Hurry!!"
The man in the black hat, seeing his plan fail, madly used his slim, agile body to escape.
The bodyguards pursued him.
The fan only realized what had happened later; she didn’t even have time to thank Maya before Maya was gone.
"Maya!!"
Ryan never expected Maya to chase after him; he was both shocked and fearful. How could someone as fragile as Maya handle a malicious culprit like the man in the black hat!
He cursed and then followed in pursuit.
The man in the black hat was small but ran quickly, almost managing to shake off the bodyguards pursuing him in the chaotic crowd.
Despite the crowd, the bodyguards gave chase relentlessly, unable to drive vehicles, giving the man in the black hat an advantage.
Some of the bodyguards pulled out communication devices to contact the venue manager.
The man in the black hat seemed well-prepared, and would escape soon at this rate.
The bodyguards were all tall; the man in the black hat moved more nimbly through the crowd, and he used clusters of fans as cover, further widening the gap between him and the bodyguards.
The man in the black hat broke through the layers of people, spotting a corner; no one was on this side. If he could get around it, he’d meet the person aiding him...
Big star? Surrounded by a bunch of useless bodyguards!
Before he could catch his breath, he felt a fierce blow to his thigh.
The pain was excruciating, and the man in the black hat fell to his knees, seeing a pair of terrifying eyes when he turned.
