The Trending Topic Herself: The Villainess is the Superstar!-Chapter 133: Asking for Contact Information
When Julian Caldwell mentioned Maya Monroe, his eyes were sparkling: "Miles... can you give me Maya Monroe’s contact information? I really adore her! I’ve watched her shows over and over! I haven’t missed any of her interviews and endorsements either..."
Miles Wallace frowned slightly: "No."
"Why not?"
"What I mean is..." Miles looked steadily at Julian: "It wouldn’t be right to give her contact information without her consent."
Julian nodded thoughtfully: "You’re right... I shouldn’t be too rash and leave a bad impression on Maya. Could you then contact her and ask if she’d be willing to give me her contact info?"
"I haven’t chatted with her."
"Oh..." Julian sighed regretfully: "Then I’ll ask her myself. I hope we get a chance to work together."
"But honestly, I really envy you for getting to work with Maya!"
Miles lowered his gaze, his voice becoming indistinct: "Hmm..."

When Maya Monroe woke up, it was already 8 PM, and her stomach growled before her mind fully cleared.
She rubbed her belly and got out of bed.
Seemingly due to the deep impression left by those days in the tropical rainforest, she felt momentarily confused upon returning to her bedroom.
Didn’t she fall asleep in the car? How did she blink and find herself back in her bedroom?
She checked the time. Goodness, it was already 8 PM! She hadn’t eaten lunch and almost missed dinner too!
This won’t do. Of all the matters in the world, eating comes first.
At that moment, every thought but satisfying her hunger took a backseat.
Driven by hunger, her muddled mind instantly cleared, and she hurriedly put on slippers and went out.
Downstairs, she saw Ian Rowe, sitting casually on the sofa with a slight laziness about him.
Noticing her gaze, Ian looked over calmly.
"Awake?"
Mrs. Wang just entered the living room, carrying a fresh and abundant fruit platter.
"Oh, ma’am, you’re awake? Come, come, here are your favorite fruits, all very fresh. Try them and see if you like them."
"Thank you, Mrs. Wang." Maya walked over and unceremoniously picked up a cherry to pop into her mouth.
Her clothes were something she had hurriedly changed into on the camper van, of a very simple style. Perhaps due to just waking up, her face had a touch of rosy blush, as bright as the cherry she held.
She rubbed her eyes, still not quite fully awake, stifling a yawn which momentarily vaporized the sharpness in her eyes.
Ian found it almost impossible to tear his gaze away from her; it was the first time his self-control felt pathetically weak.
Just by watching her, he felt unsettled.
He admitted that Maya was beautiful, but it felt like her appeal wasn’t limited to appearance alone...
Ian pulled his gaze away, suppressing his wandering thoughts, and he turned to Mrs. Wang: "Since she’s awake, bring the warm dishes out."
Mrs. Wang patted her head: "Oh dear, look at my memory, just getting worse and worse! I totally forgot such an important thing, the madam hasn’t eaten yet!"
She said this and quickly left again.
After taking a bite of cantaloupe, Maya’s thoughts gradually came back to her.
When she turned, Ian was no longer looking at her, but she felt his gaze had something odd about it, though she couldn’t put her finger on exactly what.
Maya sat opposite Ian and realized he wasn’t wearing glasses. To be fair, he usually wore those glamorous rimless glasses on his nose, quite pretentious.
With his eyes upturned, bursting with presence, you’d think he could freeze a person on the spot.
And now, without glasses, his features were more like expressive ink paintings, the pressure still there, but almost drawing one’s soul in.
Maya snapped back to reality, momentarily feeling bewitched by his eyes, and without thinking, blurted out, "Aren’t you nearsighted?"
In other words, why wasn’t he wearing glasses?
If he was nearsighted, how high was his prescription, and did he see her as a blur now?
Returning from the tough conditions had left her feeling much more cheerful.
She waved a hand in front of Ian.
Soon, her delicate palm was enclosed by another noticeably larger hand, Ian gently letting hers fall.
"I’m not nearsighted."
Maya was about to find a way to shake his hand off, but Ian had already let go.
"Then why do you wear glasses?"
Ian’s eyes fixed on Maya’s face, his focus so intense, not looking like someone who couldn’t see clearly: "You could say it’s for decoration."
Maya nodded.
So it was all just for show.
But she could understand; Ian’s looks were too striking, especially those eyes. Wearing the glasses emphasized his commanding aura rather than his impressive looks at first glance.
After that, the air felt a bit awkward.
Maya suddenly realized her relaxed manner in front of Ian was getting more natural.
Mrs. Wang quickly walked up again: "Ma’am, the food is ready, you’d better eat now, you must be tired these days, eat while it’s hot!"
Hearing there was food, every other thought was pushed from Maya’s mind.
"So quickly? Thank you, Mrs. Wang!"
Then she got up and went to the dining room.
Mrs. Wang hadn’t left, looking towards Ian: "Sir, would you like to eat?"
Ian reined in his thoughts but gave nothing away: "Sure."
Maya hadn’t seen such a lavish spread in a long time; living in the tropical rainforest wasn’t easy.
Though she liked snacks too, she found them less satisfying than a good hearty meal.
The servant had already served Maya her soup.
Having not eaten meat properly in ages, at the first whiff of the aroma, the craving inside her squirmed intensely.
As Maya was enjoying her meal, a shadow suddenly appeared over her, and it turned out Ian had moved to sit across from her.
Maya looked up slightly, her cheeks puffed, her long lashes casting shadows on her eyelids.
Mrs. Wang served Ian his soup.
Ian glanced at the dishes on the table but didn’t speak, allowing Mrs. Wang to serve his soup.
