Chapter 77: Bonus Chapter 5: The Shadow Bancho is a Deflowerer

"You have my thanks. Allow me to explain..."

Tensei is an anomaly himself. He has been with the Shadow Beast Intelligence Agency (SBIA) of Shishi-no-su since even Lily-chan was a little girl.

There are even rumors that he was the childhood friend of King Leorin himself, Lily-chan’s father, my great grandfather, and the founder of Shishi-no-su.

Despite this, he has only been the intelligence agency leader once in a far past. But has since hoarded the spot of deputy chief of the agency, while I—the chief of it all—do the darker stuff behind the scenes. He’s a real support to me, seriously.

Maybe I should fuck him one of these days as a reward. He was a fine-looking man too.

Tensei still stood very calm in front of me, now holding out a fist-sized orb of polished dark crystal that shimmered with delicate silver veins running through its dark surface.

Inside the sphere, the image of the Amazon called Sara flickered faintly; she was being recorded from a great distance, standing near the fringes of some human territory, with several tall Amazon figures gathered around her. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

"The Amazon, Sara, is currently away from Verdant Spire, as we can see," Tensei explained in his usual calm and precise tone. "This scrying orb captured her location only a short while ago. She is positioned quite far out, close to the borderlands of the human kingdoms, accompanied by a small number of her fellow Amazons."

I studied the tiny scene floating within the orb.

Sara’s unmistakable crimson hair whipped in the wind, with her spear upheld lazily against one broad shoulder while she spoke with the others.

They were not inside any settlement, so they were not openly violating any treaties. Well, at least not yet.

Nevertheless, that has been how the Amazons had begun positioning themselves lately; scattered across the edges of many kingdoms, but never quite infiltrating them.

Never quite breaking the fragile international laws that still held the world in its uneasy balance... but one could say they were getting awfully close to abandoning the alliance.

For now, they were fairly close enough to the great kingdoms capable of stealing their god-touched, that the smallest hint or the softest rumor of Benjamin Mark’s name would reach their ears.

And the moment it did, they would bring absolute hell down upon whoever harbored him, I’m sure.

Even more closer to us were the children of Queen Elara herself.

The four of them lingered just beyond our own borders, waiting—unnervingly patient in a way their kind rarely were—for the tiniest slip, or any proof that Benjamin was truly here inside Shishi-no-su.

But that would never happen. They are wasting their time.

In any case, the Amazons had never been famous for using their heads. They were overwhelming power wrapped in muscle and fury; they were magnificent and terrifying, but almost always more brawn than brain.

However, if Sara and many of Elara’s daughters were currently outside Whispering Wilds... then the heart of Amazon territory was, at this moment, basically... exposed.

"I’ve heard everything you’ve said, Tensei." I raised one of my fingers, then rose gracefully from the chaise and walked straight toward the towering tengu. "I will go to Verdant Spire myself to investigate more closely."

His golden eyes widened sharply, as the stoic cover he always wore seemed to crack for a heartbeat; there was genuine shock rippling across his motions.

"What?!" The word escaped before he could stop it. "Silver-sama, that is far too dangerous. I must emphasize—merely coming within a three-mile radius of that place is like a death sentence. And you intend to infiltrate it? Alone, no less!"

A low, throaty chuckle slipped from my lips, as I stepped right into his space and slowly traced my fingertips down the center of his broad chest, feeling the hard muscle beneath the dark fabric.

"Uwahhh~" I purred, letting my voice turn deliberately sweet and teasing. "Is Tensei actually worried about little Usagi-chan?"

I pressed my whole body against his, my breasts flattening softly against his abdomen, with my hips rolling just enough to make sure he felt every curve through my thin gown.

"Could it be..." I continued, tilting my head so my warm breath hovered near his middle, "...that Tensei would feel truly sad—maybe even heartbroken! —if something bad happened to his precious Usagi-chan?"

He exhaled gently and closed his eyes, visibly forcing calm back into his posture.

"Naturally," he answered, voice steady again. "I am your tool, your weapon. And I solely exist to be used for the benefit of our great kingdom. It would be utterly unacceptable, and even unsightly, for me to allow any harm to befall Silver-sama."

"Geez, Tensei..." I clicked my tongue, pushing my lips into a pout. "you’re always so dreadfully serious."

Then I curled my fingers around the high collar of his robe and tugged his face down to me until our noses nearly brushed.

"Are you not..." I whispered, letting the words hang in the warm air between us, "...UNDERESTIMATING ME JUST A LITTLE BIT?"

He flinched, shaking up a tiny twitch. But I felt it as I was pressed on him.

His golden eyes flickered with something that might have been intimidation, as I swarmed my dark aura against him, harsh and cold, and twisting around him like black fire.

An inferior creature—when compared to your existence value—experiencing the brunt of your aura or magic power was, to the lesser being, akin to suddenly watching thousands of daggers come at them at every angle. Some might literally die, thinking you’ve already killed them.

Yet Tensei regained his composure almost instantly. Unsurprisingly, given that he wasn’t such a weakling.

"I do not underestimate your abilities, Silver-sama," he said quietly. "But should anything go wrong, even you would find it difficult to survive an open fight against the well-known Sara if she returns with her Amazons at her back. Then there is the legendary mage, Lotus. And, the gods forbid it, you come face-to-face with Queen Elara herself... Silver-sama, I strongly recommend proceeding with far greater caution."

"Forget all of that already!"

I reached behind my neck and let the dark thin gown slide down my body in one smooth motion.

It gathered at my floor, leaving me completely nude, my skin prickling pleasantly in the cool air, under the low amber light of the chamber.

"I will enter Verdant Spire," I said, my voice ringing with unshakable confidence, "and I will leave with my head still firmly attached to my shoulders. This is hardly the first time I’ve slipped inside that place unnoticed."

My hands moved to him next.

I tugged open the fastenings of his robe with quick and impatient fingers. The heavy fabric parted and revealed the hard, gleaming expanse of his chest—muscles carved like molten gold from a god.

The sight sent a sharp, liquid rush of heat straight to my pussy, as my breath fastened for a moment.

My god, just looking at him made me instantly, achingly horny.

"Tensei," I said softly, reaching up to squeeze both of his sensitive wolf ears between my fingers, twirling them gently while my other hand carefully lifted away the black mask that always concealed the upper half of his face, "before I head out... let’s fuck for a bit. It’s been a while, no?"

The mask fell to the stone floor with a quiet clink.

Wow. His face was absolutely breathtaking; just as overwhelming as the very first time I saw it uncovered.

Well-defined, upper-class features softened only by that single, perfect beauty mark sitting just beneath his left golden eye.

You know, that serene stoicism he always wore made me want to ruin it. It made me desperate to see how those calm lines would twist and fall apart when he was right on the edge, with lips parted, and his eyes hazy with sheer pleasure.

He looked down at me, with his expression still impenetrable.

"What good will having sexual relations with me do for Shishi-no-su?" he asked quietly.

I blinked at his quiet attempt at defiance.

"Ahaha!" I erupted into a bright but disbelieving laughter. "Are you actually serious right now? Are you really refusing a direct order from your superior? Are... you calling me a fool, Tensei?"

I once again let a pulse of cold intimidation roll off me, with the darkness in my eyes deeper this time.

In effect, he closed one eye and folded instantly.

"A-Apologies, Silver-sama," he said, bowing his head just enough to show reverence. "Please... use me as you see fit."

A slow, satisfied smile spread across my lips as he said that.

"After all," he added very delicately, almost completely out of earshot, "you were the one who deflowered me the first time we met."
