He truly hadn’t expected that Jing Yan would be a native from the same Low-class World as himself. Once the initial shock passed, Bi Fang’s expression turned excited. Jing Yan was his fellow countryman.

"So he’s a native!" Ren Qian scoffed.

"Lord Steward, what are you waiting for?"

"Are you just going to sit by and watch these two guys run wild in our Medicine Field?" Ren Qian shouted at Dong Laifu in a confrontational manner.

Earlier, Ren Qian was still worried that Jing Yan might have some influential background, so he had been relatively restrained. Now, hearing the conversation between Jing Yan and Bi Fang, he was completely relieved. A native, how could he possibly have any significant background at Luo Jiu Divine Palace? Even if his talent was decent, being recruited by Qingmu Department wouldn’t be worth mentioning.

"Brother Jing Yan, be careful!" Bi Fang saw Ren Qian strike and hurriedly shouted to Jing Yan.

Then, Bi Fang flew over, blocking in front of Jing Yan. He certainly couldn’t just stand by and watch Jing Yan die at Ren Qian’s hands because of him.

Dong Laifu saw Ren Qian make a move and not only didn’t try to stop him, but instead smiled. If Ren Qian killed Jing Yan, what did it have to do with him? Dong Laifu was clearly informing the higher-ups, but Jing Yan showed no intention of stopping him.

"Brother Jing Yan, you... you killed Ren Qian!" Bi Fang emerged from his shock, glanced at Ren Qian’s corpse, then looked at Jing Yan.

"Brother Jing Yan, quickly go, you must leave here! If you return to Qingmu Department, you might still survive." Bi Fang advised urgently, his face pale.
