Chapter 101: Remember, We Will Meet Again

Along the rainy path, the couple shared one umbrella.

Initially, Yu Gangan kept trying to move to the side. But, the umbrella in Fang Zhihan’s hand moved as well. As a result, no matter where she moved, she did not get wet. However, Fang Zhihan’s shoulder was completely soaked on one side.

Yu Gangan leaned in towards the man and held onto the umbrella as well, “Your shirt’s getting wet.”

Fang Zhihan lowered his gaze and looked at her, gently pursing his lips. For a fleeting moment, his eyes looked calm and unwavering, but warm and slightly dark.

His gaze made Yu Gangan feel a little awkward. She felt that a scene such as sharing an umbrella was something that only lovers did, so her face turned red as she looked away.

At that moment, a cold wind swept by, dispersing any ambiguity in the air as Yu Gangan sneezed.

“Achoo!”

Fang Zhihan’s gaze darkened as he stretched out his arm and pulled her into the warmth of his coat, “Don’t you remember that you just left the hospital recently?”

He then sped up his pace…

The two bodies pressed closely together, not leaving any gap.

Separated by his thin shirt, Yu Gangan leaned against Fang Zhihan’s chest and clearly heard the sound of his heartbeat. One beat after another, it sounded quick and messy like hers.

Her body began to heat up as though she was inside a sauna. No matter how hard she tried to remain calm, her temperature continued to rise.

Yu Gangan lifted her head slightly to take a glance at Fang Zhihan.

His exquisite statuesque features and his well-defined handsome face looked extra cold with no warmth under the rain.

Yu Gangan and Fang Zhihan were overly intimate as they hugged each other like a real couple. Yu Gangan couldn’t stop her heart rate from speeding up, nor could she control her panic as her blood flowed freely through her body in a seemingly messy manner straight up to her brain, preventing her from barely thinking straight.

She continuously told herself to remain calm, but her body still felt tense.

At that moment, Fang Zhihan’s cool lips suddenly brushed up against her ear. With a gentle laugh, he asked, “Why are you so tense? I’m not going to eat you up.”

The air was hot as Yu Gangan’s heart thumped like a drum beyond control.

As soon as she reached her apartment block, Yu Gangan could no longer control herself as she quickly pushed Fang Zhihan away. With a pout, she said, “Who’s tense? I was simply afraid of getting wet from the rain.”

After a short pause, she added, “Thank you for the umbrella…”

But, before she finished talking, her entire body truly tensed up.

The intimidating man moved his umbrella aside, lifted a long, slender finger to her head and flicked her on the forehead.

It didn’t really hurt. It was light like a dragonfly skimming across water, but Yu Gangan still opened her eyes wide and looked at the man confusedly, “What are you doing?”

Fang Zhihan remained indifferent. Even if a huge storm hit, he would still remain calm. In a dull tone, he said, “It’s getting cold. Go inside.”

Why was he telling her to go inside? Wasn’t he going in as well? Did he still have something to do? Yu Gangan thought for a moment and looked at Fang Zhihan questioningly, “I’m not an uncultured person, I’m not going to kick you out straight away…”

But, did he ever say that he was leaving? Her attempt to hold him back sounded more like she was trying to shoo him away. So, Fang Zhihan said with deep meaning, “Remember, we will meet again.”

Yu Gangan bit her lip. Her eyes were big and round like a cat; smart and alert as she looked at him.

Fang Zhihan looked quietly into her eyes for a few seconds as his tightly closed lips seemed to suddenly curve upwards and his eyes contained a sense of amusement.
