Chapter 1110: Chapter 1110: Ha Ha Extra

Insect Clan Battlefield.

"Commander, the battlefield has been cleared, and we’ve discovered crystal stones ahead."

A soldier-like figure cautiously glanced at their Commander, Admiral Yun He, filled with admiration. This man fought his way up from a soldier to a commander, a hero among civilians, and an object of their reverence.

Fu Yunhe, at that moment called Yun He, had a face covered with a beard, and the skin beyond his beard was wheat-colored, with sharp eyes.

"I know."

The soldier saw Admiral Yun He’s gesture and immediately understood to step back.

Commander Yun He headed towards the cave where the crystal stones were found.

"Commander!"

"Commander!"

Wherever Admiral Yun He passed, all soldiers and officers saluted him, out of genuine respect.

Admiral Yun He nodded slightly and went alone into the cave to check for any dangers and confirm the quantity of the crystal stones.

Once he had an idea of the number, he would let the legion go down to mine them; this had become an unspoken rule.

Admiral Yun He walked into the cave and was momentarily surprised; most of the crystal stones were top-grade crystal stones, which were extremely rare.

The cave was deep, and Admiral Yun He walked for quite a while before reaching the end. After getting a rough idea of the number, Admiral Yun He prepared to leave.

"Ao Ao——"

A snow-white little wolf cub rolled over, eyes like a spring, gazed at Admiral Yun He, and without waiting for his reaction, the wolf cub climbed onto Yun He’s shoe, clutching his ankle with its paws, looking at him pitifully.

"Looks quite handsome, these eyes seem intelligent."

Admiral Yun He didn’t know why he felt a bit of affection at first sight, perhaps due to those intelligent, bright eyes.

He kicked his foot and said to the little beast at his feet, "If you can follow me on your own, I’ll keep you."

Commander Yun He walked ahead without looking back at the little beast.

The little beast blinked, trying to keep up, its four little legs moving quickly to match Commander Yun He’s pace.

He couldn’t let the "meat" he had just found escape; he was hungry.

The little wolf cub ran as fast as it could to get a bite to eat, having worn its teeth out without catching anything.

Admiral Yun He didn’t know that the little wolf cub behind him regarded him as food. His spiritual power only saw the little wolf cub awkwardly but adorably keeping up, feeling somewhat pleased; ’clever, just like me.’

A man and a little wolf emerged from the crystal stone cave, and at the cave entrance, Admiral Yun He waited a moment as the wolf cub caught up and took hold of his pants leg.

Admiral Yun He squatted down, pinched the wolf cub by the scruff, and tapped its nose with a finger, "Not bad, pretty smart. Follow me from now on."

Admiral Yun He casually picked up the little wolf cub like luggage and said to the people outside, "Go inside and mine the crystal stones."

"Yes!" 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Well-prepared soldiers outside orderly entered to mine the crystal stones.

Admiral Yun He, with the little wolf cub, returned to the base and took it inside his tent.

"Do you need to eat something?"

Admiral Yun He didn’t expect a response from the wolf cub; he simply asked and then took a bottle of nutrient liquid from his Space Button, poured it into a dish, and placed it on the ground.

"Eat."

The wolf cub didn’t know what that was but knew the previous human was too tough to eat. So, it approached and licked the nutrient liquid with its tongue. It didn’t know the taste but knew it could bite.

It started drinking mouthful by mouthful as Admiral Yun He watched the human-like little wolf, feeling gratified, "Truly smart."

A man and a wolf began life together, albeit with some misunderstanding.

Admiral Yun He was fond of the little wolf cub, routinely feeding it nutrient liquid. When off the battlefield, the wolf cub would lie on the ground, accompanying him in handling legion affairs.

At night, as Admiral Yun He prepared to sleep, the wolf cub climbed up. He pointed at the mat on the ground, "Your bed is there."

The wolf cub, persistent, was pushed off many times but kept climbing back on.

"Alright, just this once."

He compromised, but this wasn’t the cub’s last time; rather, it was the beginning.

After this compromise, the wolf cub climbed up every night without fail.

Admiral Yun He felt a bit gleeful, clearly, it liked him and relied on him.

Unaware, when he went out to fight, the wolf cub climbed up simply because the view outside the training ground was better, with lots of "dried meat" running around unequipped.

Time slowly passed; the wolf cub grew into a large wolf.

"Ha Ha, you can’t climb onto my bed anymore; you’re too big."

Admiral Yun He pushed Ha Ha, weighing hundreds of pounds, but the latter didn’t budge, forcibly squeezing on.

Admiral Yun He felt quite helpless, but having raised it so big, he couldn’t return it.

A man and a wolf slept habitually; admittedly, the big wolf was a good bed warmer.

The next morning, Admiral Yun He habitually turned over, but the fluffy feel was gone, replaced by something slick.

He awakened immediately, seeing a "man" beside him, still unclothed.

"Commander, don’t touch Ha Ha; Ha Ha isn’t awake."

Yun He was startled, sitting up, looking at Ha Ha sleeping soundly beside him.

In one night, the wolf turned into a human.

He had raised a pet; why had it become human in appearance?

Beastmen exist but should retain beastly genes with human features, right? Never heard of one turning human.

Yet the person beside him had furry ears and a familiar tail, proving Admiral Yun He’s adorable pet had become a man.

Forcing himself to accept this, he went out to wash his face.

Upon returning, Ha Ha sat on the bed, confused.

"Commander, Ha Ha’s fur is lost."

Lost fur? Is that possible?

Admiral Yun He thought his pet wasn’t that bright, finding clothes for Ha Ha and handing them over.

Ha Ha obediently took them.

"Can’t wear them."

Very straightforward words led Yun He to dress Ha Ha.

"Ha Ha, just this once; next time you must dress yourself."

"Ha Ha doesn’t know, uses yours."

An exasperated Admiral Yun He quickly helped Ha Ha dress, both stepping out of the tent only to find the outside world frozen in time.
