The SSS Ranked Villain's Return-Chapter 339: Killing The Yeti Effortlessly
Evangeline dashed forward and jumped up into the sky before summoning dozens of weapons made of blood.
It was clear that she had invested most of her earned free stat points into Mana Capacity.
Nonetheless, Neraxis didn't stand still much longer as he sprinted toward the Yeti.
It was also about time he tried out his new skill, Blood Manipulation.
<Ding!>
<Blood Manipulation has been activated!>
<You will lose 2% of your total HP per second!>
Immediately, he felt the same connection with blood that he had in the actual world. He could freely manipulate it into whatever he wished.
Whether it was a blood construct of sorts or whatever Evangeline was currently doing, he could replicate it.
At the same time, the system said the damage scaled with his max HP, so the more he had, the more damage he'd deal, naturally.
I'll have to switch my specs to Stamina for the most part... Seems like the only good option here, Neraxis decided and summoned his signature pair of wings.
They weren't as fancy, since he didn't have his golden blood. But still, the crimson wings worked just fine.
Neraxis blasted off into the sky, overlooking the giant Yeti who was enduring Evangeline's bullying.
It was a strong Yeti, sure. It was also fast. But in front of someone who could redirect your attacks with a mere thought, it was very, very useless.
Especially Evangeline... an actual progenitor of vampires. She has more experience fighting stronger enemies than I do, Neraxis thought as a warm feeling began swirling in his chest.
But he wasn't going to be baggage, so with a mere swipe of his hand, Neraxis sent out a fierce lash of blood which flew straight at the Yeti and wrapped around its neck.
Neraxis tried to yank the Yeti upward, but it was sadly way too heavy.
Nonetheless, he had a fallback plan, and it was just as deadly.
He tightened the lash around the Yeti's neck, causing Neraxis's blood to sink deep into the Yeti's neck.
Then, Neraxis merely dispersed his lash and began controlling his blood that had entered the Yeti's body. fгeewebnovёl.com
"Ohhh! Good idea! I should've done that too," Evangeline yelled with an excited look. "Hey, can you toss Bubub over to me? I want him to have some fun too."
Neraxis sighed, picked the slime off his head, and chucked it at Evangeline
A smile appeared on her face as she caught Bubub. Yet instead of placing it on her head, she tossed it into the air and then shot a blood javelin through it.
"...?"
Maybe she didn't like Bubub that much after all—
His thoughts were cut short when, all of a sudden, Bubub expanded—nearly quadrupling its size in an instant. Yet its growth didn't stop there as it kept doubling and doubling until eventually, it was the size of the Yeti itself.
And then, to Neraxis's surprise, Bubub merely dropped down onto the Yeti and wrapped itself around the Yeti's body.
For a few moments, nothing happened, almost as if Bubub's attempt was ineffective.
Yet with every second that passed after his doubt, something happened.
At first, the Yeti seemed slower. Then, its body jittered, and in the very end, the Yeti simply fell to the ground before slowly dissolving.
Or so he thought. However, instead of actually dissolving, it merely got smaller.
"It's a nice pet, right?" Evangeline asked with a smug look. "It can absorb people, but it can also absorb just their strength and size. Now, if we were to kill that Yeti, we could get all the experience without any of the trouble."
"Aha..." Neraxis nodded in wonder. That Yeti felt so dangerous earlier, but now it's nothing but a monster I can kill by snapping its neck.
"And all for the steep price of a demon king..." he remarked.
She shrugged. "Don't tell me you don't like free experience?"
"Of course I do," Neraxis replied flatly. "But is there no catch to what you just did? What stops us from doing this to every single enemy from here on out?"
"Bubub can't eat that much at the moment," Evangeline said. "It prefers one big beast every week or so. Basically, we can instantly kill something—"
"Right—"
His words were interrupted when Evangeline suddenly summoned a lasso and threw it around Neraxis's feet.
Then, with a forceful yank, she brought him down to the ground.
By now, the Yeti had shrunk to half Neraxis's size, and he kind of felt bad killing it.
However, the experience was more than enough to put aside his hesitance.
Neraxis walked toward the tiny Yeti who suddenly summoned a fork of ice.
It tried to attack him with it, but unsurprisingly, aside from a tiny scratch, Neraxis's HP bar didn't even budge.
Or so he thought. But when he looked at his HP, Neraxis immediately turned Blood Manipulation off.
<Blood Manipulation has been disabled!>
<You are no longer losing HP!>
[HP: 421/2,760]
I didn't even realize I lost that much... I really need to be careful with that skill.
It seemed that not only did he lose a flat 2% of his total HP per second, but he also lost HP whenever his blood went to waste.
If it left his body and didn't come back, it'd count as an HP loss.
It was weirdly realistic, considering he didn't even have this debuff back in the real world.
But aside from that, Neraxis crouched down and grabbed the neck of the Yeti before squeezing it tight.
And in the very next instant, a pair of pop-ups appeared, displaying the successful kill.
<You have slain: Abyss Yeti (Boss) [Level 175]: Extreme Experience increase. Bonus experience earned for killing an enemy highly above your level!>
<You have leveled up!>
<Level 99 → 142>
<+599 Free Stat Points Obtained!>
"Level 134, not bad at all. Too bad we couldn't eat him though," Evangeline said with a hum, and began tapping the air, adjusting her stats accordingly.
As for Neraxis?
He went ahead and did the same.
