Chapter 255: Chapter 255: Want to Give Her the Best

The kitchen quickly filled with the aroma of food cooking. Leo came out of the kitchen and called Holly and Rose Sawyer to eat as he brought the cooked dishes to the table.

"Here, the household registration book."

Rose Sawyer sat down and placed a brown-covered item on the table, speaking slowly with a calm expression.

Leo looked at the household registration book in front of him and blinked, a little confused.

He didn’t know what was going on.

Why did Rose suddenly throw out the household registration book? This was really a baffling situation.

"Thanks, Mom."

Holly’s eyebrows curved with a hidden smile in her eyes as she placed the household registration book into her bag and smiled at Leo.

Leo understood and immediately realized what was happening.

Holly had asked Rose for the household registration book.

"Mom, I will treat Holly well in the future; I won’t let her down."

Leo held Holly’s hand and looked at Rose solemnly, speaking with utmost seriousness.

Indeed, he would treat Holly well for a lifetime, always keeping her happy and cherishing her dearly.

"I hope you can keep your promise."

Rose nodded gently. She could see Leo’s good character, and she trusted him.

So she wasn’t very worried.

"I definitely can."

Leo nodded solemnly, his eyes were full of sincere light.

He would treat Holly well, always, and he would do his best to give Holly happiness.

"Oh, by the way, there’s one more thing I want to mention."

Rose seemed to suddenly think of something and slowly spoke.

Leo: "Please go ahead." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

"Your first child should take my surname, Sawyer."

Rose looked at Leo very earnestly and said.

"Alright."

Leo didn’t hesitate much and agreed directly, his tone without any reluctance.

The surname didn’t matter to him; Leo wasn’t very concerned about that sort of thing.

Rose was a bit surprised at how quickly Leo agreed, without a moment’s hesitation, and she was a little amazed.

"Don’t you need to think it over?"

Rose asked.

Holly remained silent, eating what was in her bowl.

"No need, it doesn’t matter what the surname is. I’m not that concerned about it."

Leo gently shook his head and said, the surname wouldn’t change the fact that it was their child, Leo thought it didn’t matter.

Even if in the future they only had one child and the child wasn’t named Leo, he would still give everything to them.

Rose nodded and said, "That’s quite good."

After dinner, the two left. They originally thought of staying for the night, but Rose drove them away.

Saying their presence there affected her mahjong game, disturbed her fun.

Leo and Holly helplessly had to leave that night.

"Brother, do you know what’s going on between Cecilia and Theo Shaw?"

As the car bumped along the road, Holly leaned back in her seat to rest with her eyes closed. She suddenly opened her eyes to look at Leo and asked.

"What’s going on?"

Leo turned his head to look at Holly.

He wasn’t interested in Cecilia and Theo Shaw’s matters, but Leo knew Holly was just using these two as a topic to start a conversation.

"Cecilia might never have the chance to be a mother in this life, so she left decisively, fearing she would hold Theo back."

Holly spoke with a calm and level voice.

"Our relationship doesn’t need a child to maintain it."

Leo reached out to hold Holly’s hand, speaking gently.

He knew what Holly wanted to say.

Leo just wanted to say, he was with Holly because he loved her, because she was Holly, not because he wanted her to continue the family line.

Children were never meant to be the maintenance of their relationship; even if they never had children in the future, he would still treat Holly well, for a lifetime.

"Theo probably thinks so too, which is why Cecilia never mentioned it, and I just found out."

Holly pursed her lips slightly, speaking softly with a gentle voice.

She knew Leo wouldn’t care about this, but she wanted to give him a heads-up.

"If it’s really not possible, we can adopt."

Leo looked at Holly intently, speaking in a warm voice.

Once they had held hands, Leo hoped they could keep holding hands forever.

Holly nodded, "Okay."

"I’m in good health, it’s just a pity for Cecilia."

Holly blinked gently and spoke slowly.

Sometimes, life is really tough for girls.

In relationships, when something goes wrong, it’s often the girl who gets blamed.

The same happens in marriages.

It seems the girl is always in the wrong.

"Don’t think too much, it’s New Year’s."

Leo looked at Holly and spoke softly, his voice filled with tenderness.

He hoped Holly would feel happy at every moment.

"What kind of wedding do you like?"

Leo turned his head to look at Holly, asking softly.

It was almost February now, and their wedding was just over two months away, decided quite hastily, but Leo thought he could plan a perfect wedding.

"A traditional Chinese one."

Holly gently bit her lip and spoke slowly.

Compared to a wedding dress, she actually preferred the traditional Chinese wedding outfits, the bright red ones.

Leo nodded, "Okay, whatever you want."

"I’ve scheduled our wedding photos for the end of March, the weather will be warm by then, just right."

Leo slightly curled his lips and spoke slowly.

He had planned many things, thinking that soon Holly would be on the same household registration as him, which filled Leo with joy.

He hadn’t slept a wink the night before, thinking about all these things.

Wanting to give Holly the grandest wedding, making her the most admired bride.

"Sounds good!"

Holly’s eyes curved with a hidden smile.

She didn’t expect Leo had everything planned out.

"Would you like to think about the menu for the banquet?"

Leo chuckled as he looked at Holly, amused as he inquired.

The little girl loved to eat, surely the menu had to suit her taste.

"Oh, this."

Holly blinked lightly and looked at Leo, appearing a bit conflicted.

"That works."

Pause, Holly nodded.

Leo found it a bit funny, his gaze never left Holly, containing a doting smile.

"Let me think about it."

"Sweet and sour ribs, Kung Pao chicken, stir-fried shredded pork with green peppers, braised lion’s head meatballs, steamed pork with rice flour, mushroom chicken stew..."

Holly ticked off items on her fingers, listing the dishes while swallowing, looking a bit amusingly silly.

"So many! I think our banquet menu will probably be the most expensive without a doubt."

Leo found it quite amusing, smiling as he looked at Holly.

This little girl was truly a certified foodie.

"It’s not enough; after-meal desserts and fruits are a must."

Holly blinked and spoke earnestly.

Perhaps Holly was the only one with high demands for the menu while having low demands for her own wedding.
