The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King-Chapter 320: Go Through My Crotch
Chapter 320 - 320: Go Through My Crotch
Sophia had completely sobered up from her drunken stupor. Her face, once flushed, was now pale.
Lucien's appearance had genuinely frightened her.
So when John posed his question, Sophia found herself torn. She bit her red lips, averting her gaze, seemingly seeking Arno's opinion.
Arno wanted to advise Sophia to reconsider the opportunity, but he remained silent. Speaking up now might upset John.
This opportunity had been granted by John, and to back out now would seem like a betrayal of his goodwill.
Sophia knew this well.
Noticing her hesitation, John understood. He gave her a reassuring smile, trying to ease the tension. "Miss Long, there's no need to worry so much. Whether you go to the martial arts school or not, it's not a big deal."
Sophia was a friend of Anita, and the Long family had always been kind to Anita. John couldn't possibly hold any grudge against the Long family or Sophia over something so trivial. He wasn't that petty.
His concern, however, was that if she decided not to attend, he'd have to inform Hugo earlier. The quick arrival of Sophia's offer letter suggested that Hugo had put significant effort into securing it. What would Hugo think if Sophia didn't show up when the school entry time came?
John was a calculated man.
"Mr. Lopez... I've told you that as long as you give me this opportunity, I will cherish it. So, I've made up my mind. I will go to Houston Martial Arts School," Sophia finally said, her voice steady but resolute.
After a long pause, she summoned the courage to stick to her original decision.
"Sophia..."

Arno gazed at his granddaughter, a mixture of relief and guilt flooding his heart.
He was relieved that she had the courage to make such a decision, for it showed that she was maturing.
But he couldn't help feeling guilty, for her decision also reflected the disappointment of the Long family. If the family had been a true safe haven, would she have needed to venture out into the storm?
John gave Sophia a surprised glance. He had not expected her to answer so definitively, but he nodded in response without saying another word.
The atmosphere at the banquet shifted, no longer as lively as before, a heavy silence hanging over everyone.
Before long, the tension was interrupted by a dispute from the stairway.
"What's going on today? This is ridiculous!"
Brooke, still nursing the humiliation from Lucien earlier, was now visibly angry. Hearing the commotion, he couldn't contain his frustration. He kicked back his chair and stood up, storming toward the source of the disturbance.
"Why is it so noisy during the meal? Is this how you treat us?" Brooke yelled as he approached the two waiters near the second-floor door, his irritation clearly building.
The waiters quickly apologized, "Mr. Long, we're very sorry for the disturbance. We're handling it, please bear with us."
But the apology didn't seem to satisfy Brooke. He turned his attention to the young man outside the door.
The young man, who had been anxiously asking to enter, spoke up, "I just want to take a quick look inside. Please, just let me have a look. I'll leave afterward."
One of the waiters, growing impatient, responded sharply, "I've told you before, the entire second floor has been booked by distinguished guests. We can't let anyone in. Do you not understand?"
The situation was becoming more complicated. The two waiters were caught between a rock and a hard place. Earlier, Lucien had come in and, due to his status, had been allowed in without question. But after Lucien entered, the atmosphere inside grew visibly tense.
The waiters, knowing this, had already been scolded by their supervisor for the incident. And now, a second young man came asking for the same thing, which only worsened the situation.
Within moments, several security guards arrived on the scene, ready to remove the young man. But just as they were about to take action, Brooke intervened.
"Wait!" he called, halting the guards with a gesture. He turned to the young man. "So, you want to go in, huh? What exactly are you looking for?"
The young man responded, "I'm looking for my girlfriend."
Brooke raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Your girlfriend?"
The young man nodded.
Brooke's lips curled into a smirk, his frustration with Lucien finding a new outlet. "Your girlfriend's not here. If you don't believe me, go ahead and look inside. But you'll have to go through my crotch first."
At first, the young man had been grateful that Brooke was allowing him entry, but upon hearing the latter's crude words, his face turned dark with anger. He felt humiliated, realizing that Brooke was deliberately trying to provoke him.
"You don't want to go?" Brooke taunted coldly, then turned to the security guards. "If you don't want me telling your boss about this, deal with him!"
The guards nodded in understanding, preparing to use force. But before they could act, a sharp slap echoed through the room.
Slap!
Everyone froze, confused. The slap wasn't directed at the young man; it was Brooke who had been struck.
"Mr. Lopez, why did you..." Brooke gasped, his hand instinctively going to his now-swollen cheek, a look of utter confusion on his face. He hadn't expected John to intervene so suddenly. Had John disapproved of his actions?
Before he could process what had just happened, the young man outside the door shouted in excitement, "My brother-in-law!"
Brother-in-law?
At the sound of those words, Brooke's eyes widened, his heart sinking. It suddenly dawned on him why John had slapped him. The young man was none other than John's brother-in-law.
