The Scheming Ex-Husband's Courtship-Chapter 660 - 573: You, Belong to Me Now
Jian Si’s stubbornness kicked in, and she refused to give up on the bottle cap, only to have a hand reach over and snatch the mineral water away from her.
He opened the cap almost effortlessly. It turned out that the gap wasn’t fully cut open when the cap was sealed, causing it to stick very tightly, making it impossible for her to open with her strength.
The mineral water, with the cap now off, was handed back to her, the fingers holding the bottle long and good-looking.
Jian Si heard a flight attendant walk by with a low chuckle, obviously having witnessed the scene that had just unfolded.
Jian Si’s face turned red with embarrassment. She reached out only to accidentally touch the back of his hand. The warm sensation was like an electric current passing through her fingertips. She quickly snatched the mineral water from his hand and, to hide her nervousness, took a couple of sips from the bottle.
Having a boyfriend open a bottle for her was something she had only seen in the news or in novels; she always thought those girls were too pretentious. Give her a full meal, and she could move big barrels of Wahaha.
Because of this little episode, Jian Si wasn’t as angry anymore,
When getting off the plane, Jian Si was retrieving her luggage, but it got stuck on the rack. Again, it was Nan Zhan, thanks to his height, who easily sorted it out for her. After being helped twice, she finally said her first words of the journey: "Thank you."
Nan Zhan’s eyes and brows lifted in ease: "You’re welcome."

Zhengzheng sat in front of the dining table, looking at the delicate and delicious meals prepared by the nanny but feeling no appetite, constantly twisting a Rubik’s cube in his hand.
The nanny was dazzled by his speed, thinking to herself if the child was some kind of spirit, as he could solve the cube without even looking. However, after seeing him just last night, sitting so composedly at his bedside, solving difficult problems, she wasn’t surprised anymore.
In this world, there are always some people who are many times more intelligent than others from birth, and they are often called geniuses.
The diligent nanny stood aside, persuading him: "Zhengzheng, if you don’t eat now, the food will get cold, and your father said you must eat by eleven o’clock."
"They should be back soon. Let’s wait a bit," Zhengzheng continued to fiddle with his cube.
The nanny knew that though he didn’t say it, he was actually very worried; last night, when she went in to cover him with a blanket, he was still tossing and turning in bed.
With a sigh from the nanny, knocking already started outside the door. Zhengzheng’s face lit up with joy, and he hopped down from the chair to open the door.
Seeing the person standing outside, Zhengzheng’s little brows furrowed, not seeming to welcome them.
The nanny quickly approached and also paused: "Ma’am, who are you looking for?"
Obviously, the term ’ma’am’ was not to Helan Ying’s satisfaction; she gave the nanny a glance and turned her gaze to the little one in front of her.
Good, the child had delicate features and a sharp look in his eyes, identical to how Nan Zhan looked when he was young.
With just one glance, Helan Ying had already determined this was her grandson.
She offered what was meant to be a kindly smile, bending her distinguished posture slightly: "Hello, what is your name?"
Zhengzheng was wary of this unexpected visitor, instinctively stepping back: "Jian Zheng."
"Oh, Jian Zheng!" Helan Ying smiled: "Do you know who I am?"
Zhengzheng scrutinized her carefully, though he already had a conclusion in his heart, he replied: "I don’t know."
Helan Ying reached out her hand to touch his head but was naturally avoided by Zhengzheng, leaving her hand hanging in midair. Her face color soured, but she still managed a strained smile, turning to the two people following her and said: "Take this child away."
"You can’t do this," the caretaker quickly stepped forward. She was responsible for Zhengzheng’s food and accommodations and, naturally, his safety. Seeing these people brazenly trying to take him away, especially since Zhengzheng obviously didn’t recognize her, she had to intervene.
"Take this nanny away too," Helan Ying gave the command with a stern voice, and immediately people came to grab the nanny.
However, much to her surprise, seeing the nanny being taken away, Zhengzheng did not cry or make a fuss, showing no hint of panic at all. Instead, he negotiated calmly with her: "I haven’t eaten yet. I would like to finish my meal. Today, there’s my favorite crab."
"Alright, I’ll join you for the meal," Helan Ying walked in brashly, casting a glance at the simple and cramped house, her eyes reflecting disdainful scorn. Women of such lowly birth truly cannot grace the grand stage, doomed to a life mired in shabbiness.
But this child is Nan Zhan’s, so she could disregard the lowliness of the woman’s background. However, from now on, the child will have nothing to do with her.
Helan Ying had no interest in further examining this slum but sat in front of Zhengzheng, watching the child curiously as he ate and played with a Rubik’s cube at the same time.
She thought to herself that he indeed lacked good upbringing, not even knowing the basic etiquette of dining, revealing that she would have to teach him to abandon these coarse habits gradually.
"How old are you this year?"
Zhengzheng took a bite of food, playing nonchalantly with the Rubik’s cube in his other hand, his little white fingers moving agilely over the colorful puzzle.
"Seven."
Helan Ying had thought he was only four or five years old and was surprised to learn he was already seven; it had been so long since...
Zhengzheng shook his head, "I’m going to get something."
"Okay," Helan Ying said, and a man in a black uniform followed Zhengzheng into the house, took a small box from him, and naturally took it over without Zhengzheng saying anything.
The little guy’s composure somewhat surprised Helan Ying; if it had been an ordinary child taken away by a stranger, they would surely have burst into loud crying.
But this was better, saving her a lot of trouble.
"Let’s go," Helan Ying gave him a smile, "From now on, I will provide you with the most privileged life in the world. I will make you a dragon among men."

"Hungry?" Right after getting off the plane, Hong Yuan was already waiting outside. Nan Zhan glanced at the luggage Jian Si was dragging. Since his luggage had been burned, he came empty-handed, still wearing the cheap clothes Jian Si had bought for him.
Nan Zhan gave a nonchalant ’oh’ and casually reached out to take hold of her suitcase. "I’ll take it."
When did he become so gentlemanly?
Jian Si let go, and the suitcase was transferred to Nan Zhan’s hands. He pulled along a lady’s small leather suitcase, seemingly quite pleased.
Standing in front of the car door and smoking, Hong Yuan watched them approaching and promptly extinguished his cigarette. Glancing at Nan Zhan, who was carrying someone else’s luggage like a young lad and even looked quite cheerful about it, Hong Yuan instantly understood.
As they drove into the city, Hong Yuan suddenly said, "The private room at Xiangshan has been prepared. Shall we go there now?"
Jian Si looked at Nan Zhan, who for once toned down his domineering voice, even speaking with a hint of gentleness as he sought her opinion, "Let’s have a meal together. It’s my way of making amends. Zhengzheng is taken care of by a nursemaid and has probably finished eating by now."
This conciliatory demeanor surprised Hong Yuan, who was sitting in the front. The corners of his mouth soon curled into a smile, as he was genuinely curious as to what sort of chemical reaction had occurred between these two on their journey?
Mr. Nan’s behavior was clearly that of a young man excited yet apprehensive about falling in love.
Having received clear and subtle care from him along the way, Jian Si was no block of wood; she could see that Nan Zhan was always trying to please her. If she continued to put on airs, it would be overly pretentious.
"Yes, let’s go. I’m a bit hungry too." The plane food wasn’t tasty, so she only ate the small bun inside.
Seeing her finally agree, Nan Zhan smiled like a child: "Very good."
Jian Si was also infected by his smile, unable to resist saying, "You should smile more. Always with a stern face, people who don’t know better might think you belong to a deck of cards."
Hong Yuan covered his mouth in the front, holding back from laughing out loud.
Nan Zhan seemed to agree with her comment; he tossed the documents he was holding aside and grinned at her, his eyes curving into a smile: "Alright, I’ll smile more at you from now on."
Jian Si suddenly felt a shiver run down her spine, as if a wolf had suddenly bared its sharp teeth at her, that was not a smile,
