The S-Class Mage is a Gyaru!?-Chapter 41: Arcane Symposium, Part Twenty-One
[Well... that was a whole thing.]
I barely make it off stage before Haruka tackles me, those perfect tits squishing against mine as she squeals.
"BABY!" She’s literally bouncing, which is doing dangerous things to my already worked-up state. "That was so fucking hot! The way you just- and then she- and you were all like-"
"Breathe, babe," I laugh, but I squeeze her right back.
The crowd’s still buzzing, but most phones are pointed at where Miyuki disappeared. Already seeing ManaGram notifications pop up on my phone.
"Well," Professor Chen’s voice cuts through the chaos. She’s standing at the judge’s podium, looking like someone force-fed her a lemon. "That was... certainly a unique approach to traditional combat magic."
[Translation: You didn’t fail like we thought you would and I’m mad about it.]
"The judges will convene to determine the overall symposium rankings. Results will be announced in one hour."
[One whole hour?]
"Guess we got time to kill," Haruka breathes against my ear, her hand definitely NOT staying in appropriate places. "Maybe we could-"
"Miss Nakamura."
I turn to find Professor Zhang giving me an actual real smile. Her dragon tattoos are practically dancing across her skin.
"Now THAT’S how you handle borrowed power." She nods approvingly. "Though maybe next time try not to expose any... personal details about your opponent?"
"Hey, that wasn’t my fault!" I protest. "She’s the one who fell!"
"Still." Zhang’s smile turns serious. "Be careful. People with secrets tend to be... dangerous when exposed."
[No shit.]

{Professor Zhang}
[Alright. Time for another game of politics. Lovely.]
I lean back in my chair, watching my dragon tattoos swim lazily across my forearms as Chen and Sato go into their usual "tradition this, proper magic that" routine. The other university judges look bored as hell, and honestly? I’m in the same spot.
Professor Himiko from Tokyo Tech’s literally playing with her phone under the table while Dean Watanabe looks like he’s having an out-of-body experience.
"Lily Amano showed remarkable control-" Sato’s droning on like anyone’s actually buying his whole shpiel, while my dragons curl around each other in what I swear is second-hand embarrassment.
[Yeah, ’control.’ Is that what we’re calling borrowed power now? As if that little stunt wasn’t obvious to everyone.]
One of my dragons actually rolls its eyes.
"If I may interrupt," I lean forward, keeping my voice professionally neutral despite the anger burning beneath my skin. "Are we going to address the fact that Akari Nakamura shattered our standing mana endurance record? Not broke - shattered."
Chen’s face tightens into its usual expression of disdain.
"Miss Nakamura’s methods are... unorthodox."
I resist the urge to point out that ’unorthodox’ seems to be their code for ’threatens our comfortable status quo.’
"She dispersed hostile spells effortlessly," Professor Himiko interjects, finally setting down her phone. "I do have to note that I haven’t seen that level of magical control in a decade of teaching."
[Thank god. Someone quickly taking my side, for once.]
"Her combat style-" Sato begins, but I’ve had enough.
"Yes, let’s discuss her combat style." The dragons along my arms writhe. "Specifically, let’s discuss how she managed to fight effectively even against an opponent receiving... external assistance."
The room goes silent. Even Dean Watanabe’s vacant stare sharpens with interest.
"I’m not sure what you’re implying," Sato says, but the slight tremor in his voice betrays him.
"No?" I trace the outline of the dragon circling my wrist. "Then perhaps we should review the footage. I’m particularly interested in the mana signatures during key moments of the duel."
The other judges begin murmuring amongst themselves. Chen’s complexion has taken on an interesting shade of grey.
"Professor Zhang," she says, voice tight with warning. "Consider carefully who you align yourself with."
I allow myself a small smile.
"You mean the S-Class mage who achieved near-perfect scores across all testing metrics? Who demonstrated more innovative thinking in one duel than I’ve seen in years of faculty meetings?" I stand, letting my chair scrape against marble. "I believe I’ve considered quite carefully."
"The rankings-" Sato attempts one final time.
"Should reflect merit," Professor Himiko interrupts. "And the merit here is undeniable, regardless of certain... irregularities in other performances. I have to say, I find myself agreeing with Professor Zhang. In my opinion, it’s obvious who should be declared the winner."
The following vote is almost elegant in its inevitability. Even Chen and Sato can’t argue with raw data, though their expressions suggest they’d very much like to try.
"You’re making a dangerous choice," Sato warns as we exit, trying to sound authoritative but achieving something closer to desperation. "Promoting someone like her will ruin the very foundation of our systems!"
I pause.
"What I find most interesting," I say, letting each word land with precision, "is how terrified you are of change. Your resistance only proves how necessary it is."
His face pales slightly.
"This institution-"
"Could use some disruption." I cut him off, already turning away. "The dust in these halls has gotten rather thick, don’t you think?"
The dragons across my skin ripple with satisfaction as I walk away.
Something tells me we’re entering a rather fascinating academic year.

"Mmmmph~!"
I can barely focus on the time with Haruka’s tongue down my throat, her hands grabbing my ass while we wait for the results.
"You two are absolutely feral," Reina sighs from beside us, those ice-blue eyes rolling so hard I’m worried they’ll get stuck. Yeah, she’s literally sitting right there, by the way. "Like, do you ever get tired?"
I break away from Haruka’s cherry-flavored lips just long enough to wink.
"Nope~"
"Never," Haruka adds, already diving back in for another taste.
[God, she’s perfect.]
"Get a room," Reina mutters, but I catch that little smile she’s trying to hide.
"Why?" I grin between kisses. "Jealous?"
Her tail bristles.
"As if-"
But then the professors start filing in and suddenly my heart’s pounding for a whole different reason.
[This is it.]
Haruka’s arms tighten around my waist as Professor Chen steps up to the mic, looking like someone force-fed her an entire lemon tree.
"After careful deliberation..." She pauses, probably hoping to build suspense but mostly just looking constipated. "The winner of this year’s Arcane Symposium is..."
[Come on, come on...]
"...Akari Nakamura."
The crowd explodes.
[Wait, what?]
"BABY!" Haruka literally lifts me off my feet, spinning me around while squealing. "YOU DID IT!"
My brain’s still catching up.
"Hold up. I... Did they...?"
"You won fair and square," Reina cuts in, actually smiling now. "Even with all their bullshit, they couldn’t deny your scores. Congratulations."
I look at the professors. Chen looks ready to quit, Sato’s about two seconds from a stroke, and-
[Is that... Professor Zhang actually grinning?]
"Miss Nakamura." Chen’s voice could freeze hell itself. "Please... come accept your reward."
"Go get it, baby!" Haruka smacks my ass as I start walking.
Given that my top legit burned away, I’m literally in just a pink bra and a skirt as I walk up.
My platforms click against marble as I strut toward the podium. The crowd is LIVING for this moment.
[Might as well give ’em a show, right?]
I make sure to put extra swing in my hips, letting my tits bounce with each step. Phones are out everywhere, ManaGram’s probably exploding, and I catch at least three dudes trying to hide their obvious boners.
[Get used to it, boys. This is what your S-Class looks like.]
"Holy shit, is she really-"
"Those TITS though-"
"Queen behavior honestly-"
Chen’s eye is twitching so hard it’s basically morse code for "I hate everything about this." She holds out the trophy like it’s physically painful.
[Oh, this is too perfect.]
I take the trophy, feeling its weight in my hands. Real gold, probably. Custom enchanted too, from the way it’s humming with stored mana.
[Time for the money shot.]
I turn to face the crowd.
One hand on my hip, other flashing a peace sign right next to my face. The cameras are going absolutely wild.
"THAT’S MY GIRL!" Haruka screams from the crowd. "SHOW THESE HOES WHO’S BOSS!"
I blow her a kiss, making sure to wink at the cameras.
"Speech!" Someone calls out. Then more voices join in. "Speech! Speech!"
[Well, since they asked so nicely...]
I step up to the mic, making sure to bend juuust enough to give everyone a show.
"Thanks babes!" I grin, channeling my inner idol. "Remember - tradition’s cute and all, but power does look special sometimes, ya know? I can promise you this..." I wink. "The magic scene’s gonna look a lot less boring while I’m around~"
The crowd erupts. Chen looks ready to commit murder. And me?
[Baby, I’m just getting started~]
