The Royal Mark-Chapter 413: Happy Tears
"Did you have fun at school?" Elsa asked after approaching her kids who did not see her at first.
"Mommy! I thought you were at work?" Rocco questioned, not expecting to see her at home.
"Well, something exciting happened. Do you want to know about it?" Elsa said in an exciting tone making the children anticipate her story.
"Yes! Tell us, tell us!" Rosey replied while the other two nodded.
Elsa chuckled and patted Rosey’s head before turning to Wena. "Please bring their things inside, I will talk to them first. She took the hands of the twins and then brought them to the gazebo while Rocco held Rosey’s other hand.
Meanwhile, inside the house...
Chris anxiously watched Elsa talk to their children through the window. He was so focused on their mouth movements, trying to read their lips, that he was startled when Elandir walked up to him, followed by Marina.
"You should sit down and relax. Elsa got this," Marina said.
"I can’t, Marina, not until I face them and know what they think. They might hate me and just be hiding it. And if they don’t hate me now, they might once they find out everything," Chris replied.
"Why are you so negative about it? Elsa has never spoken badly about you, even when she lost her memories. All these years, she hoped you would find them one day. She always told your kids that it was her fault they lost you. Because she was not careful and it made her forget about you.
She took the blame, even without knowing the truth, so the children wouldn’t hate their father. Dr. Arden promised them that one day, they would see you again. I’m not sure why he said that—maybe he was planning to bring Elsa back to Vectus or perhaps he trusted you that much.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that you have nothing to worry about because your children were raised to love you," Marina said.
Despite Marina’s heartfelt reassurance, the worry in Chris’ heart did not wane. He couldn’t help but feel nervous.
All of a sudden, they heard something scratching on the glass door leading to the garden where Elsa and the children were. When they checked, it was Yakobo trying to get out of the house.
"Roxanne, please open up the door for him. Maybe he wants to go potty," Marina ordered.
"There’s something weird about that puppy. I don’t know if it was my imagination earlier but I think it talked to me. It told me to run after Elsa and so I did. But I saw it in the hallway afterward and tried to talk to it. It just stared at me," Chris told Marina and Elandir as they watched the little wolf run to Rocco.

The children were so excited to know what their mother was about to say, that they sat in the gazebo obediently while waiting.
"Remember I told you before that Mommy had an accident, the reason why I lost my memories?" Elsa began.
"Yes, Mommy," the children nodded.
"Well, Mommy remembers now, isn’t that great?!" Elsa said in a cheerful tone, setting the mood of her kids.
The twins jumped and hugged her. "Yay! Mommy is cured!"
Elsa laughed. "Yeah, you could say that." She noticed Rocco not saying anything and just petting Yakobo on his lap.
"Rocco, aren’t you happy that Mommy’s memory is back?" she asked.
"I am happy but I already knew," Rocco said.
"Really? How did you find out?"
"Yakobo told me. He also told me other good news, but I will let you be the one to tell it to my sisters," Rocco uttered.
"Okay..." Elsa drawled before turning to the twins. "Do you know what it means?"
"Yes! Mommy can now remember who Daddy is. You said once you get your memory back, you will look for Daddy and we will help you. Right brother?" Daisy said.
Rocco nodded, "That’s right, but Mommy doesn’t need your help."
’Why does he know so much? Is the pup teh real Yakobo?’ Elsa wondered.
"Your big brother is right. You don’t need to help me because I found Daddy!" Elsa announced, delighting in the twins’ reactions.
Their eyes widened, and their mouths formed an ’O.’
"Where is he?" Rosey immediately asked.
"He’s inside. He’s exci—Wait!" Elsa was cut off as Rosey and Daisy hastily ran into the house.
Rocco held her hand and smiled up at her. "Are you happy, Mommy?" he asked.
Elsa’s heart melted, and she hugged Rocco tightly. "Oh, my sweet boy. Of course, Mommy is happy. Are you happy too?"
"Yes, I am. Let’s go meet Daddy!" Rocco said, grabbing her hand and leading her toward the house.
Chris’ nervousness increased as he watched Rosey and Daisy run into the house while Elsa and Rocco were behind them.
When the twins got inside they searched for someone unfamiliar but found Chris, Marina, and Elandir instead.
"Mr. Chairman! We are looking for our Daddy, have you seen him?" Daisy asked.
Chris kneeled down to go their eye level. He glanced at Elsa who nodded, smiling. He breathed in deeply and let it out his breath forcefully before holding the hands of his girls.
"Well, if I tell you that I am your Daddy, will you be happy that it’s me and not someone else?"
"Yes, we will, but are you our daddy, Mr, Chairman?" Daisy questioned.
Chris was so happy that tears of joy came flowing in, that he couldn’t even utter the words that he wanted to say.
Elsa moved closer together with Rocco and rubbed the back of the twins. "Go, love. Tell them," Elsa encouraged Chris.
Chris forcefully breathed out again to get himself together and smiled at his children. With a stuttering voice he finally uttered, "Y-Yes, I-I am. I am your daddy. I’m sorry... I’m so sorry, I am only here now. Oh God... I miss you so much!" Chris said.
"Daddy!" the twins exclaimed and threw their arms around Chris’ neck making him sob louder.
Rocco stood in front of him and used his tiny hands to wipe his tears. "It’s ok, Daddy. Please don’t cry. We miss you too!"
Chris lost it and wailed like a lost child as Rocco joined his sisters in hugging him.
Everyone in the house watched them with happy tears and wished that the family would never need to part ever again.
