The Royal Mark-Chapter 303: Let Her Mark You

"No!" Elsa retorted with vengeful eyes, astounding Chris.

’Aeson, Neia, Lexi I need all of you here it’s urgent. We are at a barn near the royal family’s vacation house. There’s something wrong with Elsa. Bring Stefan and Rylie... And oh, also bring clothes for the both of us,’ Chris sent out via their mind link.

’Brother, we can’t, we already boarded the ship and are about to sail. What’s going on?’ Neia asked.

’Elsa has this urge to drink human blood like a vampire.’

’Stefan said to find the merchant instead. He might know the answer and if not please let us know, and we will go there,’ Neia suggested.

’Aeson, bring me that merchant, now!’ Chris commanded.

Elsa started to struggle, trying to break free. Chris remembered the technique that Elsa taught him on how to knock someone without hurting them.

Chris hastily pressed the spot beneath her ears just behind her jaw and quickly rendered her unconscious. He then walks to the man and sinks in his claw at the back of his neck to erase his memory of Elsa and him.

After untying the man, he carried Elsa on his shoulder like a sack of rice before telling everyone to meet them in the mansion instead.

It didn’t take long before Aeson arrived with Bono. He was able to find some clothes in one of the rooms in the mansion and put those on before facing the scared merchant.

"Please, Your Majesty, I swear I didn’t put anything in that wine! Please spare me, I am innocent. I wouldn’t dare hurt any member of the royal family," Bono pleaded while kneeling in front of Chris.

"Where did you get it?" he asked softly with a blank face which made Bono fear him more.

"I-I got it from Saldivar. The servants said that the new queen found it in the wine cellar and decided to throw it away. But I thought it was a waste to throw those. It’s an expensive and rare wine, so I paid the servants to collect everything in exchange for a huge payment."

Chris unleashed his claws causing Bono to hug his knees and beg for his life.

But Aeson held on to his arm, stopping him, "He is telling the truth, Chris. I’ve already ordered my men to check it."

Chris had no choice but to retract his claw since he trusted Aeson’s judgment. All he could do was close his eyes and let out a deep heavy sigh.

"Let’s wait for Rylie, maybe she can do something about it," Aeson suggested.

Chris turned around and said while walking away, "I’ll be in the room with my wife. Call me when they arrive and you can let that man go."

"Thank you! Thank you, Your Majesty!" Bono exclaimed with happy tears in his eyes before dashing out of the mansion.

Chris went back to the room where he tied up Elsa to prevent her from running away again. He stood at the end of the bed while pitying his wife.

He sat beside her hoping that her hunger for blood was gone when she woke up.

It was already dark when Lexi arrived with Rylie. Along with them were Hoven and Milda, baffling Chris and Aeson but before they could open their mouth, Milda went in and asked Chris, "Which room is she in?"

Chris looked at Hoven who only nodded to him, giving him a signal that it was ok to tell her. "Follow me..."

"Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I am bringing my brother and Princess Milda. I passed by them while looking for Rylie and told them what happened to Queen Elsa," Lexi clarified.

"It’s okay, Lexi. Milda is family, she has the right to know," Chris replied without looking back as they climbed up the stairs going to Elsa’s room.

"I know how to cure her," Milda announced.

Chris stopped in his tracks and turned to face her. "You do? How did you manage to learn it?" Chris inquired, clearly skeptical of her ability.

"It was mentioned in my mom’s book. She wrote there that Yvonne was experimenting on how to turn humans into vampires without the actual venom from a vampire’s bite. And you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to reverse it," Milda revealed before adding, "Let’s not prolong her agony. Let’s cure her. Oh, I forgot, only you are allowed inside and they have to stay somewhere they can’t hear me for what I will tell you is private."

Chris signaled everyone to follow Milda’s instructions and he was genuinely pleased that the princess could help him, before guiding t her to where Elsa was located.

When they entered the room, the princess immediately laid out all the ingredients she brought for the potion that she would make and ordered, "Tie each of her arms and legs on the bed posts and make sure you will not wake her up because she will surely attack you when she does so be careful.

Milda started making the potion while Chris was busy repositioning Elsa on the bed and tying her up.

Once done, he walked to Milda to see what she was doing. He watched her mix different leaves and flowers before he handed her a small sharp knife.

Chris frowned, not understanding what’s the knife for.

"I need a few drops of her blood. Put it in here. Mix it well before you drink it and do it. I will leave now and I will take the others with me," Milda said before walking out.

"Wait! What do you mean ’do it’?" Chris was very lost on what he was supposed to do.

"You have to let her mark you by biting you on your neck and drinking your blood. That potion will mix her blood into yours and when she drinks your blood with her blood in it, she will come back to her senses and cure the ruby wine’s side effect," Milda explained. Her eyes narrowed as she watched Chris’ confused look turn into a much more baffled expression.

"Mark me? But she’s a human," he pressed, wondering how would that go.

"She can, with the help of that potion. She just needed something to wake her up and free her from the wine’s effect. Letting her bite and mark you is just the way to do it. Well, of course, you need to do the act of marking, where you mark your mate while you climax, or are you too tired to do it?" Milda teased with a mocking smile.
