550 Are you my father?

"Master is really good friends with Mr. Liu..." Jarred Guo muttered as they wait for their boss to arrived.

Since Jarred Guo and Lyrick Jiang would always arrived one hour earlier before Ethan Lu and Lexi would go to the yang mansion, Ethan Lu didn't need to drive alone to the hospital.

But even so, the two were rather surprised as Ethan Lu cancelled his morning meetings just to visit Morris Liu early in the morning. Was there's an important matter that Morris Liu and Ethan Lu needed to discuss urgently? They didn't know the reason, that's why the two were curious.

"What?" Glancing at Lyrick Jiang, Jarred Guo arched his brow.

"Nothing. Just thinking about something." Lyrick Jiang shook his head sideways as he waved his hands off. He was just wondering of the possible reasons why his boss rushed in here early in the morning, but to no avail.

Just then, they saw their master's figure from the corner of their eyes. Turning to Ethan Lu's figure to confirm, Jarred Guo and Lyrick Jiang were mind-blown.

'Who is that?!' In unison, the two Ethan's subordinates wondered internally.

Not far away from them was Ethan Lu walking with a young woman, approximately in her early 20s or late teens. She was wearing a hospital gown, her black silky hair flowed down and sways as she walked.

Even with their distance, her noticeable pair of argent eyes shone like the moon's soft glow. All in all, she's obviously an eye candy.

However, that wasn't what caught the two's interest but the way Ethan Lu interacted with her. Their master seemed to know her as he glued his eyes on her while she cast him glances from time to time.

"Red, should we call Madam?" Through a whisper, Lyrick Jiang muttered as his master, and the young lady approached.

"Uh, I'll ready my resignation — you too. I can't be caught in the crossfire." Jarred Guo mindlessly responded before he shook his head and headed inside the driver's seat.

Unlike how Lyrick Jiang perceived it, the simple-minded Jarred Guo perceived it in a different take. To him, the reason Ethan Lu rushed in this place was not because of Morris Liu but because of that young lady.

He believed his master was loyal to Lexi but, who knew if his master was tempted? Surely, Jarred Guo has too little faith to his master. f𝔯𝒆𝚎𝚠𝑒𝚋𝓃૦νℯƖ.co𝘮

On the other hand, Lyrick Jiang was more or less alarmed that Ethan Lu was with a young woman. His thoughts however wasn't like Jarred Guo's malicious assumptions; he was more like curious about the woman's identity.

He trusted Ethan Lu and his love towards his goddess. Also, his boss knew the consequences of cheating because not just Lexi but also everyone that were on Lexi's side would cast him away — Lyrick Jiang was among those people.

"Beauty DR." Ethan Lu blankly noted their destination, and he cast Churu a glance. "I'll leave you with Lexi today." He said in a stern voice which made Churu's frown turned even uglier.

"Are you my father?" Churu murmured because ever since they left Morris Liu's ward, and giving Chris Yu a mild fright, Ethan Lu had been running his mouth nonstop.

"Tsk," Ethan Lu clicked his tongue as he gestured her to go inside the car.

"Fine!" Churu reluctantly followed by her 'master's wish' and dragged her feet inside.

Actually, Churu didn't want to leave just yet. After all, meeting the ever hot retired law body named Chris Yu, Churu wanted to hang around. However, that wasn't possible as Ethan Lu dragged her with him forcefully.

Silence filled the inside of the car. Jarred Guo constantly glanced at the back seat from time to time. Meanwhile,? Lyrick Jiang's curiosity had been tugging him, making his tongue itch hence, he has to bit his tongue to refrain from asking.

"You should at least buy me clothes, you know..." Churu murmured as she was still wearing the hospital gown. The only other protection she has was Ethan Lu's blazer suit that reached her upper thigh.

Since Ethan Lu was tall, and Churu's height was quite questionable for an angel or demon, his clothes was quite enough to cover her body, so her features wouldn't be outlined by this thin hospital gown — though it wasn't enough to make her look decent.

"I already asked Lexi — Rick, cancel all my plans for the rest of the day." Ethan Lu gave Churu a side glance as he responded before deciding to cancel everything.

Since Churu was his guide, and she told him, he should find out things for her, Ethan Lu had to clear this with her. After all, he was bugged about something. He never heard that Churu could transform into a human.

There were just too many questions that needed some clear answer. Although Ethan Lu was certain he wouldn't get the answer for everything, at the very least, they could think of possibilities as a team.

Meanwhile, at Beauty DR:

"So?" Arching her brows, Lexi tilted her head to the side as he listened to the disconsolate sighs from the other end of the line.

"I'll see you tonight...?" She added before the man from the other end of the call nodded his head and answered in agreement. After that, Lexi didn't linger any longer as she ended the call.

Upon ending the call, Lexi noticed that Ethan Lu messaged her thus, she checked what it was. To her confusion, he only said; "Love, I'm on my way there with Chacha. Please help me ready some clothes for her to wear."

"Clothes for her to wear?" Lexi read his message once again, which made her brows raised. Ethan Lu has a bad habit of sending vague messages, the reason Lexi preferred calls.

Still, what does he meant by prepare clothes for Churu, all of a sudden? Little did Lexi know, she'll receive the shock of her life but also another blessing she was willing to welcome in her life.
