"What!", instead of anger or sadness towards the brutal death of one of her fellow clan members, Mariana was at disbelief at the previous scene, she had clashed with Alexandra many times and thus she was sure that the light gray-haired girl didn't have the strength to instantly kill the peak stage male elder, with a random attack like that one.

She could still somewhat come to terms when Alexandra killed one of the early-stage elders, as he was taken by surprise and was also attacked on an area where the defense wasn't exactly the highest, the head.

However, the peak stage male elder, did use his shield to block the attack and unlike her who was more on the balanced side having both defense and offense capacities, the vice-leader of her team was a pure defense-oriented cultivator.

And yet, the enemy simply thrusted that strange golden-black lance which wasn't even giving off the vibes of a spirit treasure, as in there didn't seem to be any formations engraved on it, and all the defensive layers that the defense specialist of the group had, crumbled apart as if they were wet paper.

Despite the previous, Mariana wasn't the most surprised one here, but Alexandra whose eyes were sparkling, which was a bit strange considering that her lance was impaling a corpse.

'That was neither "Heavenly Reflection" nor "Mirroring", the lance didn't absorb anything, it simply released a huge impact that overwhelmed the enemy's defense… without the need for me to use any spirit energy, not to mention that it concentrated the impact in a special way to produce a stronger result!', excitedly thought the light gray-haired girl.

Alexandra's Heavenly Reflection can't release while absorbing, it first absorbs the impact and then she can release it, as for her mirroring she can only equal the enemy's attack with the plaque, if she wants to go on the offensive she must compensate with spirit energy.

Her techniques, just like her black heavenly gold are amazingly strong, but lack in terms of flexibility, however a moment ago, that lance just solved all the immediate flaws that have been being a headache for her.

And that is without taking into account the fact that the lance by itself without using this "hybrid" of her two techniques, already had a high enough attack power to pierce through the defenses of the peak stage elder, without she adding neither spirit energy nor intent and without having spirit formations engraved on it!

As curious as Alexandra was, the questions could be left for later, she casually took the spatial ring of the now dead peak stage elder to then shake the corpse off her lance, which surprisingly didn't have even a single stain of blood on it, before glaring at the Blazeheart elders who felt a chill run down their spines upon being gazed at by those pretty pink grayish eyes of Alexandra.

"Black Heavenly Step", with a couple of words, Alexandra flashed from her previous position to charge at the two leading Blazeheart elders, however Mariana who had recovered from the shock, knew that she couldn't leave the attackers of the group directly clash with the enemy that just killed her vice-leader, not if she wanted to win the fight at least.

'Damn useless idiots, I have to do everything myself', she thought as she exploded in dark brown spirit energy.

"Amber Landslide!", Mariana's legs were covered by a layer of rock on which an amber mineral vein appeared, before she turned into a flash in order to intercept Alexandra, it's worth mentioning that the leading Mountain Amber elder's speed had more than doubled compared to when she used her movement technique earlier.

It's for a good reason though, the prefix "Amber" before her "Landslide" meant that she was using the version of the techniques taught to the direct descendant elders, naturally since she is from a secondary branch of a main family, she had access to them even if she wasn't a direct descendant, though she had to exchange them with merit points, but it was worth it.

However, she is not the only one that can use a higher ranked version of a technique, especially now that a certain silver-haired girl had stopped restraining herself to non-lethal spar level.

"Radiant Crushing Step", Camila's mellow voice reached Mariana's ears, making her danger alarms ring in her mind.

"Boooom!", the silver-haired girl who suddenly descended from above with a dark copperish light enveloping her legs, "stomped" on the sky causing a loud explosion which produced a wave of copper colored spirit energy that expanded in every direction.

Mariana who was intercepted by Camila, directly used her arms to protect herself, which resulted in she though not suffering any damage, being flown away by the impact.

"Damn it!", while Mariana cursed as she was sent flying into the distance, Camila who saw the remaining two Blazeheart elders appear at her sides with their swords aiming at her neck, limited to softly snort.

"Blazing Sword!", at the last second, those two released their technique at point blank in order to cause extra damage to the enemy, or in this case in order to cause any damage to her, since long range attacks had proven to not be enough to break through the silver-haired girl's defensive technique.

"Clang!", however and very much to their horror, both of their swords were blocked by a floating black-golden shield, resulting in their intent and flames breaking apart after landing on it, while the physical impact was completely absorbed.

And now it was time for Camila to be on the offensive, the silver-haired girl tightened her grip on her silver-golden spear to then thrust it at those two.

"Radiant Silver Piercing", a blinding silver light gathered on the head of Camila's spear to then be pierced by it, releasing a huge silver energy stream that engulfed those two, just in time for Mariana to appear in front of Camila with her left arm and Warhammer covered in a rock layer which had an amber vein on its center.

"Amber Mountain Break!", Mariana swung her hammer which exploded in dark brown spirit energy, downwards aiming for Camila's chest, only for the treasure girl to smirk as she beckoned with her pretty left hand, making the black-golden shield get in the way of the Warhammer.

"Boooom!", while the impact was mostly nullified, the energy explosion caused by the hammer wasn't, however Mariana's dark brown spirit energy which at this point had gained an amber tinge to it, was met with a dazzling golden light coming from the gold ornaments on the shield.

In the meantime, Alexandra had reached the two leading Blazeheart elders, her golden-black lance which had its proportions inversed when compared to the black-golden shield that was protecting Camila now, was enveloped in both ghost lance and light gray spirit energy.

For the first time, the light-gray haired girl was going on the offensive, and judging by the excited expression on her pretty face she was enjoying this fresh experience.

And here is an interesting thing about Alexandra, prior to discovering the way of fighting that best suited her thanks to she obtaining heavenly reflection and mirroring, she… tried all the attack type spirit techniques she could get her hands on, to see if one worked for her, so while she doesn't use them, that doesn't mean she has no knowledge about attack type spirit techniques.

In fact, she trained on the most destructive lance techniques with the hope to make up for her lack of attacking power.

"Sky Breaking Lance, Sweep!", with a rare fierce voice, compared to her usual clam and aloof self, Alexandra's metal spirit energy and intent violently exploded on her lance as she swinged it sidewards.

"Boooom!", the golden cover of the lance glowed as if reacting to Alexandra's fierceness, releasing a huge shockwave that immediately reached the leading Blazeheart elders who felt all the hairs on their bodies stand on their ends.

"Blazing Sword!".

"Blazing Wave!".

Feeling the incoming dread and realizing that the attack occupied an incredibly wide area, meaning that they won't be able to completely dodge in time, those two were forced to meet Alexandra's technique head on.

The leading elder gathered flames on his sword as he slashed at the shockwave in a try to cut the physical impact, while the vice-leader released a tsunami of flames to deal with the metal spirit energy imbued into the attack.

"Clang!", the moment the blazing sword collided with the shockwave, the sound of metals clashing echoed through the sky, sparks flew all over the place as both the slashing light and the shockwave collided, unfortunately the slash was overwhelmed and forced backwards in a fraction of a second, at least before the fire tsunami came to the rescue.

"Haaa!", the two elders roared as they injected more spirit energy into their techniques, only then they managed to forcefully deflect Alexandra's attack, it wasn't destroyed though, they simply sent it downwards, making it land against a hill into the distance.

"Boooom!", Alexandra's attack landed on the hill, completely destroying it on the spot, that was after it had been worn down by the two leading Blazeheart elders, it was clear how much strength it packed.

Unfortunately for those two, they had no time to rest because the light gray-haired girl who was having a blast, continued with her assault.

"Sky Breaking Lance, Spiral Charge!", the metal spirit energy enveloping Alexandra's lance, started rotating at high speed, producing sparks as she flashed towards the vice-leader who immediately used his movement technique to get out of the way, what a joke he saw that horrifying lance piercing a hole through a peak stage Sea of Knowledge defense-oriented cultivator, from the Mountain Amber family no less.

"Blazing Path!", the vice-leader who turned into a purple-blue flash barely managed to avoid the lance's attack, however the metal spirit energy that was rotating a high speed around it, grazed his left arm nearly tearing it apart.

"Aghhhh!", the excruciating pain caused by Alexandra's metal spirit energy, was akin to have irregular shrapnel dragged through an open wound, it forced a lung-tearing scream out of the Blazeheart vice-leader, however he was alive and his arm was still attached to his body, so that was a win on the book of the leading elder, especially because the left side of the light gray-haired girl was now open for an attack.

"Red Slash!", the leading elder exploded in purple-blue flames which then gained a red hue, he was also going to use the techniques that were usually at the disposition of direct descendants or above, but similar to the guys that fought Nerissa, they were specially distributed to practically anyone who could put them to use, in preparation for this event, because the Blazeheart ancestor was in a good mood recently, until Aster's incident at least.

'I've got you bitch!', inwardly screamed the leading Blazeheart elder, only for his expression to sour when a black metal wall appeared in front of Alexandra.

"Heavenly Reflection", the sword slash landed on the black metal wall and had its impact immediately nullified, the fire and intent fiercely collided against the black heavenly gold, leaving some scratches here and there, before the attack ended.

"What!", the leading Blazeheart elder nearly lost it.

'Wasn't she only able to use those damn techniques once at the time, she has been releasing those huge impacts with the lance, so what the hell!', inwardly screamed the elder.

And he was right in both things, Alexandra was only able to use "Heavenly Reflection" once at the time, and the technique was being used by the lance continuously, so how come she could use her absolute defense then?

The answer is pretty simple, the impact being released by the lance is not coming from Alexandra, but from the shield that Camila is using, in other words she is receiving strength by protecting the treasure girl from Mariana's attacks.

Both the lance and the shield were created from the same piece of black heavenly gold and the properties that Camila brought out where the ones used for "Heavenly Reflection", in other words, impact absorbing and the release of it.

The shield absorbed and that was released by the lance, and those were… permanent properties, not a spirit technique, in other words it was a continuous effect, and that meant that both Camila and Alexandra had a shield and a spear at their complete disposition now.

Like Aster said, having an unbreakable shield and an unstoppable spear working together, was a really strong combination, for example right now the leading Blazeheart elder who miscalculated thinking that Alexandra couldn't defend, had remained too close and was now in range for Alexandra to attack him.

"Sky Breaking Lance, Thrust", this time, Alexandra's light gray spirit energy gathered on the tip of her lance, as she thrusted at the Blazeheart leading elder who had already activated his movement technique but was one step too late.

"Mountain Shield Block!", however at the last second two giant mountains got in the way of Alexandra's lance, giving the Blazeheart elder enough time to flash away, just in time for him to regroup with the vice-leader who had swallowed a healing pill to recover.

"Boooom!", the lance however pierced through the mountains as if they were nothing, destroying them alongside the tower shields used as their cores, which also made the remaining two early-stage Mountain Amber elders to vomit blood.

"Fucking kill her already!", they shouted as they burned their vitality to forcefully heal the inner wounds they suffered, before they pointed their hands at Alexandra.

"Mountain Range Lock!", dark brown mountains with thin amber veins on them appeared around the light gray-haired girl, locking her where she was, while the leading Blazeheart elders exploded in purple-blue flames.

"Blaze Convergence!", once again they absorbed the flames imbued in the seas of knowledge of the other elders, it was to the point that their noses, mouths and eyes bled, they were going all out in order to kill Alexandra.

"Red Disaster!", those two's bodies turned into fire spheres with a red hue, this was the direct descendant version of "Blazing Sun", and a technique that usually only peak Genesis Manifestation or above cultivators could use, hence why they required the flames of others to use it and why they suffered backslash from it.

The two leading Blazeheart elders pointed their hands at the mountain range which was confining Alexandra, sending their attacks at it, the Mountain Amber elders had told them to not care about the backslash they will suffer if their techniques were destroyed, in fact they wanted the debris to bury the enemy as she was exploded into smithereens by the flames of the Blazeheart.

"Humph", the light gray-haired girl who was locked inside the mountain range, beckoned with her hand and her lance flew upwards, a few dozens of plaques of black metal came out of her body to then be absorbed into the lance, which started growing.

"Crack!", the lance which continued to grow until it had reached a towering size of three hundred meters, broke out of the mountain range just by expanding itself.

"Black Heavenly Lance", Alexandra pointed her hand at the incoming attacks and the giant lance turned into a golden-black stream that shot itself towards the fire spheres, piercing through them on the spot.

But that wasn't all, let's not forget that the lance was made with Alexandra's main plaque, and that she had stopped restraining herself.

"Boooom!", a huge pressure akin to that of a peak Void Manipulation cultivator, was radiated by the giant lance, raining down upon the four enemies.

"Aghhhh!", the sudden pressure forced them downwards, until they landed on the ground, also cracks started to appear near the lance, as it had started to affect the surrounding space.

"No way, what kind of damn treasure is that!", shouted the leading Blazeheart elder, the lance didn't have runes engraved on it, and the only things that radiate pressure without any stimulus are of the… Immortal grade.

The problem is that, there is no way a Sea of Knowledge cultivator could use an Immortal grade spirit weapon, without any seals placed on it at least, for example Nerissa's sword is supposedly an Immortal grade spirit weapon, however it has restrictions on it so that the dual toned blue haired girl can wield it.

Which is why she can't suppress others just with the aura of her sword, unlike what Alexandra just did, unfortunately, the enemies had no way to know that Alexandra is not affected by her black heavenly gold, theoretically once it truly becomes an Immortal grade material, she will be able to use it for an attack on the heavenly realm scale.

However, for now, the limit is the Law Integration realm and it is limited to once, that being said, she isn't in need of something like that, when the enemies were suppressed just by the aura of her main plaque.

It wasn't completely their fault, Aster who was observing the fight from afar couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, he had felt the pressure radiated by that main plaque, and while on the outside it was something at Void Manipulation level, it was lacking compared to the real deal.

He knows it better than anyone else because of the way he trained his body, which was basically him exercising under Lilia's pressure, which escalated little by little and at some point, it reached the Void Manipulation level.

"Begone", with a single word from Alexandra, the red flame spheres which were being pierced and contained by the lance, were forcefully dispelled on the spot, turning into a rain of flame wisps, which accompanied the giant lance on its travel towards the four elders who didn't even have the time to scream before they were blasted into smithereens.

"Boooom!", the giant lance drove itself into the ground, sending broken pieces of debris all over the place, before it shrank back to its original size as the many extra plaques of black heavenly gold left it to return to Alexandra's body.

The golden-black spear then flew back to Alexandra who had a slightly saddened expression on her pretty face, naturally there was a limit to the effect of "Golden Fortune" and it had been reached already, so the golden part had started to disappear and she could feel that her black heavenly gold was turning back to its original state.

'I wonder what would happen if a certain someone was to store that lance in her heart', said a playful voice that only Alexandra could hear, naturally that was Aster.

Alexandra's eyes sparkled for a second, it didn't cross her mind to do that, but if she could increase the size of the lance, then she should be able to decrease it as well, so with a wave of her hand, the light gray-haired girl ordered the lance to compress itself, which also stopped its decomposition momentarily.

Then without a second of hesitation, she grabbed the lance which was now palm-sized and placed it on her chest right where her heart is positioned, the beautiful smile that flourished on Alexandra's pretty face when she saw the lance sinking into her skin without any problem, was quite the sight to behold.

'Well, it seems like she has "you" in her heart in a different way than others, darling~, jokingly said the dragon mother, making Aster chuckle, judging by Alexandra's happy smile, his idea worked and the lance stopped disappearing the moment it was stored in her heart.
