The Revenge of the Reborn Supreme Sovereign-Chapter 33 - 32: Have a Good Journey!
"Zhao Yuhao!"
Ye Xuan and Ye Haoyuan instinctively cried out in alarm. What happened between Qin Fan and Zhao Yuhao?
However, when Ye Jizu saw this so-called "gift," a wave of unease made him tremble uncontrollably. Anyone with any standing in Jiangzhou knew Zhao Yuhao was his man. But now, Qin Fan had thrown him down like this, right in front of him. Did this mean trouble had arrived?
"Master... Master Qin, what... what is going on?" Ye Jizu asked nervously, gulping rapidly in terror.
"Someone wanted to cripple my legs, and he took the job," Qin Fan said with a faint smile, watching Ye Jizu’s panicked trembling as if he were discussing something trivial.
"What!"
Not only Ye Jizu, but even Ye Congjun’s eyes widened in shock. Qin Fan just shrugged with an indifferent smile at their reaction, but that very smile sent a chill down the spines of the Ye father and son.
"Master... Master Jizu, save... save me!" Lying on the ground, unable to move, Zhao Yuhao struggled to open his bloodshot eyes, his voice weak and strained.
But Ye Jizu had no time to pay him any mind. His face suddenly went pale with panic as he turned to Qin Fan, trembling. "Master Qin, this has nothing to do with me! I didn’t know, I didn’t know a thing! You know that even if you gave me a hundred times the courage, I wouldn’t dare provoke you! Master Qin, you must see the truth of the matter!"
"You disgrace! Look at what you’ve done! Look at the kind of people you associate with! Sooner or later, you’ll be finished, and no one will be able to save you!" Ye Congjun roared at Ye Jizu, spittle flying from his mouth in his fury.
Qin Fan knew, of course, that Ye Jizu had nothing to do with this. Just as Ye Jizu had said, he wouldn’t dare harbor such intentions even if he had a hundred times the courage. But when your own man causes trouble, can the master simply shrug it off by claiming ignorance?
"But this dead dog is your man. The whole of Jiangzhou knows that, right?" Qin Fan said, shaking his head mockingly at Ye Jizu.
His words were like a sharp sword, slowly scraping across the surface of Ye Jizu’s heart.
"Master Jizu, save me!" Hearing their conversation, Zhao Yuhao’s convulsions grew more frantic. It felt as if despair was enveloping him from all sides. Ye Jizu had become his last straw, his only hope for survival. But right now, that last straw was like a clay bodhisattva crossing a river—unable even to save itself, let alone him!
"Zhao Yuhao!"
A roar filled with a mixture of endless terror and anger erupted from Ye Jizu’s mouth. Just as Zhao Yuhao struggled to lift his head, Ye Jizu swung his good leg and kicked him with all his might!
BANG!
Zhao Yuhao rolled several meters away. Already weak, he was now on the verge of death, so close he could feel it. Hearing the Ye father and son respectfully address Qin Fan as "Master Qin," and after being treated this way by Ye Jizu himself, Zhao Yuhao fell into complete despair. His mind, still lucid, told him his life was over.
He stopped begging for mercy, stopped struggling to move. As he coughed up another mouthful of blood, Zhao Yuhao tasted regret for the very first time. If... if I could do it all over again, I would never have taken that job from Zhou Xueman! Five million. For a mere five million, I’ve thrown away everything, including my own life! To think that five million is just pocket change for me these days! And now, it’s costing me my life. How ironic.
A bitter, self-mocking smile formed on his face as the life drained from him. Life and death are decided by destiny. This is all fate! he lamented sardonically in his heart. He never could have imagined that the one to end his life would be a widely-acknowledged piece of trash he had always seen as nothing more than an ant!
"Who told you to do this!" Burning with rage and trembling with panic, Ye Jizu dragged his lame leg over to Zhao Yuhao and demanded in a shaky voice. I have to give Master Qin an explanation. I have to!
"Zhou Yihang’s daughter!" Zhao Yuhao answered in a weak voice. Knowing his end had come, he revealed the truth. At this moment, the person he hated most wasn’t Qin Fan, but Zhou Xueman! If it weren’t for her, how could I have ended up like this?
Hearing that it was Zhou Yihang’s daughter, Ye Jizu’s eyes flared with intense malice.
"I’m sorry. Have a safe journey. Be smarter in your next life." A hint of reluctance showed in his furrowed brow, but Ye Jizu still clenched his teeth and uttered these words to Zhao Yuhao. Aside from Qin Fan, this was the only other person he had ever apologized to.
"Master Jizu, I understand! I understand it all. With all four limbs crippled, living would be worse than death. Master Jizu, grant me a quick end, I beg you!" After struggling to get the words out, a smile of genuine relief spread across Zhao Yuhao’s face.
Ye Jizu nodded. He turned and beckoned to the estate’s security team. A few young men with slightly bulging temples walked over. "Fourth Young Master!"
"Take him away and give him a quick end," Ye Jizu said, his expression somewhat heavy.
"Yes, sir!"
As he watched Zhao Yuhao being led away, Ye Congjun remained silent. Qin Fan, however, wore a deeply amused smile. Having overheard the exchange, he now felt a sliver of appreciation for Ye Jizu.
"Master Qin, I will give you a proper account regarding Zhou Yihang and his daughter!" Ye Jizu said, taking a deep breath as he dragged his awkwardly lame leg to stand before Qin Fan.
Zhou Yihang, Zhou Xueman. The answer didn’t surprise Qin Fan, who just smiled leisurely. I had originally planned to let that ungrateful pair fend for themselves. But it seems they don’t appreciate the gesture. Since that’s the case, I might as well grant them their wish.
"More terrifying than death is despair—the despair of plummeting from heaven straight into hell. The Zhou father and daughter... heh heh," Qin Fan said coolly in response to Ye Jizu’s promise.
The despair of plummeting from heaven into hell? Ye Jizu nodded. "Master Qin, I understand."
Qin Fan didn’t respond. With his hands clasped behind his back, he silently turned and began walking toward the Ye Family’s main residence. This act of taking the host’s role, despite being the guest, delighted the members of the Ye Family, who were always sensitive to such details. They hurried after him, maintaining a respectful distance of one step behind.

"Enough with the pleasantries. You all know why I’m here today. The rest of you, scram. Just leave Old Ye here," Qin Fan said without even taking a seat, cutting straight to the point.
"Yes, Master Qin!"
Facing a Transformation Realm Grandmaster, Ye Jizu didn’t harbor the slightest doubt, nor would he dare to. At his word, the rest of the Ye Family quickly left the hall under Qin Fan’s unfocused gaze.
