The Revenge of the Reborn Supreme Sovereign-Chapter 185 - 182: Scared? Good, You Should Be!
He Yixin?
Wasn’t he that show-off from Ji Yuchen’s birthday party?
As he recalled the scene, a wicked smile flashed across his face.
Facing He Yixin’s fiery gaze, Qin Fan smirked and said, "Yeah, that happened. So what? You want to avenge him?"
"You’re damn right, you bastard! Today, it’s blood for blood!"
The Muay Thai Little Overlord clenched his fists. Amid the onlookers’ shocked gasps, the moment the words left his mouth, he lunged forward. His punches and kicks whipped up gusts of wind as they flew toward Qin Fan.
Gusts of wind? Is this the initial stage of Ming Energy from the Martial Arts World? To have reached the initial stage of Ming Energy at only seventeen or eighteen... this kid certainly isn’t all talk.
A hint of admiration appeared in his eyes. Qin Fan was aware of the Muay Thai Little Overlord’s legend at Qi Middle School. He also remembered that in his previous life, despite always acting aloof and overbearing, the guy had never really bullied anyone, including himself.
"Qin Fan, be careful!" Ji Yuchen shouted anxiously. She had run out after hearing the commotion and was terrified to see Qin Fan standing completely still.
"You’re no match for me. You can’t get your revenge," Qin Fan said with a faint smile, ignoring the warning as he faced the approaching He Yixin.
As he spoke, his hands moved.
The instant He Yixin’s attack reached him, one of Qin Fan’s hands became a palm, blocking He Yixin’s fist. His other hand curved and clamped around He Yixin’s sweeping lower leg.
"Scram. I’ll let it slide this time!" Qin Fan scoffed, his lip curling in disdain. He easily shook He Yixin off, sending him sprawling to the ground.
He turned away indifferently under the crowd’s wide-eyed stares and continued toward Classroom 7. But before he could take more than a few steps, Ji Yuchen shrieked again, "Qin Fan, watch out behind you!"
What a reckless idiot! His playful expression soured into one of annoyance.
With his back still to He Yixin’s second attack, Qin Fan spun around. The onlookers saw only a blur, a residual image flashing before their eyes. The next instant, Qin Fan was holding He Yixin off the ground by his throat!
He shook his head and snorted in disdain. Before He Yixin could even react, the hand gripping his neck exerted its force with a powerful heave!
He Yixin, who weighed no less than 140 pounds, was effortlessly flung by Qin Fan over the railing!
"AHHH!!!"
"NO!!!"
"DON’T!!!"
Boys and girls alike, everyone in the crowd involuntarily let out the sharpest screams of their lives.
Their minds went blank in that instant, a suffocating feeling overwhelming them!
From the seventh floor... how could Qin Fan dare to just throw He Yixin off? What chance of survival would he have after a fall like that? Killing someone over a minor disagreement? What kind of lunatic is this? What kind of demon?
As if foreseeing the scene of He Yixin’s head bursting into a mess of red and white matter, the more timid students simply collapsed to the ground. Their faces were all uniformly pale, drained of color.
"No, no, no!" As he was flung through the air, He Yixin experienced the sensation of flying for the first time, but the feeling made his world come crashing down.
Death, a word that had once seemed so distant, now occupied his entire consciousness.
"No, no! Help me! Save me!"
His shrill voice echoed throughout the entire campus. In an instant, students from all over Qi Middle School ran out to see what was happening. Those on the seventh-floor corridor instinctively rushed to the railing, peering down below.
The next moment, as He Yixin’s despairing "no" faded, a loud RUSTLE and CRACK echoed from below!
He Yixin had landed in a dense patch of shrubbery, his fall broken less than ten centimeters from the ground. His face and limbs were covered in bleeding scrapes from the sharp branches.
I’m not dead? I’m not dead?
Lying in the shrubbery, feeling as if he had just returned from Ghost Gate, He Yixin trembled and murmured to himself. He wriggled, trying to climb out, but his limbs were completely drained of strength by fear and despair, leaving him unable to move.
"Save me... save me... save me!" He Yixin kept crying out, his voice weak and completely dominated by fear.
He’s not dead? He didn’t die from that? He managed to land in the shrubbery?
These questions filled the minds of every student at Qi Middle School who had witnessed the scene. Everyone stood dumbfounded and in disbelief, staring at He Yixin in the bushes as if they had been struck by lightning.
Eventually, a security guard from Qi Middle School pulled him out of the thicket.
"Qin Fan, how could you do that? That’s murder! You tried to murder him! You’re going to ruin yourself! What kind of grudge could be so deep that you’d try to kill He Yixin? This is a school! How could you try to kill someone here? How could you!"
Back in Classroom 7, Ji Yuchen, still unaware of what had happened below, chased after Qin Fan the moment he returned. Her legs trembled and her face was deathly pale as she cried out in utter horror. Her panicked eyes gazed at that familiar face, yet she felt an unprecedented sense of strangeness.
She couldn’t help but recall He Haolin’s death. He Yixin was thrown from the seventh floor for a minor provocation. So what about He Haolin, who had thoroughly humiliated Qin Fan? He died shortly after that humiliation... Could it really be unrelated? For Ji Yuchen, whose memories of that incident had been erased, the more she considered it, the more terrifying the possibility became.
Immediately, her gaze faltered. She looked away, her eyes filled with terror.
"Are you scared? You should be. I’m a demon—one without a shred of humanity. I kill anyone who provokes me, without exception. He wasn’t the first, and he certainly won’t be the last. So, keep your distance. The farther away you are from me, the better. Otherwise, you’ll inevitably get dragged down too."
After speaking these words to Ji Yuchen with a blank expression, Qin Fan folded his arms on his desk and buried his head in them.
Her terrified, evasive gaze from moments ago made him decide. Since this was an opportunity, he might as well lay his cards on the table. The words were harsh, but if they could nip this ill-fated relationship in the bud, it was a good choice.
"How can you be like this? How can you talk like that? You’ve changed... you’ve changed! You’re not Qin Fan! Who are you? Who are you really?" Hearing Qin Fan’s cold, indifferent words, Ji Yuchen subconsciously stumbled back a few steps, shaking her head and muttering to herself.
Lying on the desk, Qin Fan heard her mutterings but remained still. He chose to stay silent, slowly closing his eyes.
「Outside the classroom.」
As security guards helped He Yixin to the infirmary, the students who had been leaning over the railing began to disperse. No one spoke. A dead silence seemed to fall over the entire school, and the sound of shuffling footsteps only added a strange eeriness to the quiet.
Outside Classroom 7, the students from the class filed back inside, their faces ashen with terror. None of them dared to even glance in Qin Fan’s direction.
