The Rejected Alpha's Vengeance-Chapter 561: Of Interesting Incentives In An Unknown War
[HAWI]
Hurting protectors was not something that could be out past the Savasci knights, but if this woman here was not the real Rukiya and she had memories that had been planted in her, then she would be in danger eventually.
Protectors were always filled with spite for creatures that wronged them and it was all just a matter of time if this wasn’t the real Ruru.
If that was so, then it also meant that this queen wouldn’t have the knights to stand up for her against the protectors, and that she would be eliminated as soon as they realized he wasn’t of any use to them. It was a cruel truth, but it was one nonetheless.
"Easy there, Queen Kia. You need to calm the fuck down woman. You don’t know what you’re doing, and with your amnesia, there is no telling if what was triggered were your memories;
"... or if they wanted you to act like this so they could lock you up in the Olyana dungeons," Mbali said calmly while the queen glared at her. It was like she couldn’t believe that this was the one thing that she was hearing from Mbali herself.
Meanwhile, Hawi was still watching intently, waiting to see how this would unfold. She needed the queen to prove himself wrong so that Hawi would be out of there as soon as possible.
However, frankly, there seemed to be more that was keeping Hawi here more than she had imagined. Perhaps it saw the thigh of having to lose that which was important or it is just an afterthought for her. All in all. She had to get the truth out.
"You know better than to tell me to calm down, Lihle. Speaking of Hawi, she was with you, wasn’t she? My beautiful mate was with you and now she isn’t here, is she? Where the fuck is she?
"And don’t you dare tell me that she sent you away to get hurt again, because I swear on your sister Freya that I will kill you if she comes back with a scratch on her. I don’t know what the fuck you both are doing with the humans;
"... but I sure as hell know it wasn’t fucking vacation. Now I’ll ask again for the last time before I eliminate these protectors. Where the fuck is my beautiful?" Kia asked and Mbali stepped back.
She was in disbelief too and wanted to say that this was something that had been forced on her, but with every minute that passed, it seemed more and more like this was Rukiya Greyson.
Maybe she was hallucinating, maybe they were all hallucinations, but one thing that Mbali knew she wouldn’t do was try to kill her… right?

"I don’t know who you are talking about, your majesty. This is not the place. If Hawi knows that you are seated on the throne, she will come for you and eliminate you for taking that which belongs to her," Mbali stated calmly.
However, deep down, Mbali was silently hoping that the woman wouldn’t do that. It was so insane an idea, really, but then again, if this woman was the friend they had all known then she had to have known a lot about their pack, things that no one ever would.
"You know, for someone who fucking stabbed me in the thigh in that damned temple, you sure are testing my patience. You might not die because of the spell Hawi cast on all of us, but that doesn’t mean I won’t dampen the bond like they fucking dampened mine with her.
"I can as well let the knights feel your life fade away without being able to stop shit, and watch them burn this stupid realm to the ground. You and I both know that I am not bluffing.
"In case you think I am, here is an incentive for you to tell me where the fuck my woman is," the queen said as she set the club on fire with her magic. It was as easy for her, and she didn’t flinch, even when the flames were getting angrier.
She didn’t seem to be bothered, and perhaps it was because of the truth she had just said or maybe she was counting on Mbali to put out the fire. This right here was the worst of timings ever. This was insanity at best and all of this just didn’t make any sense to Mbali.
"She wouldn’t…" Hawi trails off, as she watches the queen pile up the high guards and strike them with a fire that only she and Hawi would ever be able to cause and eliminate. It was a risk and Hawi could see it too, but fuck if she let this shit go on.
"Stop it. You can’t make her kill with the high guards. My baby wouldn’t live with herself if she hurt innocents… Stop this Islinda," Hawi said as she got up and began pacing.

This was dangerous, and she hated that this was how she came to find out that her niece was a turkey alive. There had been a lot of tears of suffering and to think that her princess was always in the palace of Olyana.
That was one thing that she would square out with the moon goddess later on, but then what else could she do?
"Oh, Hawi. You have a decision to make," Islinda said as she cast another mirror from the place. She could see the girl she had shown earlier sleeping soundly, even though there was danger around her, there were men who were trying to break through the door.
They had weapons in their hands and they seemed to want to eliminate the little girl in the room there. It was sickening to watch and Hawi glared at the moon goddess like she wasn’t sure she knew who this woman was anymore.
What the fuck was she even supposed to do?
"What the hell do you mean by that?" Hawi asked as Islinda brought the two frames closer. She had stopped the time in the human realm and Rukiya wasn’t able to strike the high guards. However, in the Olyana place, the intruders were still fighting to break that door.
It was a painful sight to watch and Hawi could feel herself get on edge. She just couldn’t imagine that the moon goddess could be this cruel a person. Granted, she didn’t know much about the spiteful woman; surely, she wouldn’t hurt a kid, right?
This was so wrong on so many levels and yet Belinda was nonchalant about it, like she is already used to the mess that came with the realm. Was he trying to coerce Hawi, and even if so, would it work?
"The girl in the palace may be your daughter with Rukiya Greyson, Hawi. And she is in danger right now, as you can see. But I can make sure she is safe tonight, at least with her guardian out of the realm," Islinda began and Hawi let out a warning growl.
She hated being blackmailed by the woman who was meant to make things better for the lot of them. This woman owed her a lot of things and it was quite insane that he was daring to throne her when she should have been doing the protecting.
"Are you fucking serious right now? What the fuck do you want?" Hawi asked angrily.
"Have a seat, Hawi," Islinda said and Hawi stared at her like she was losing her mind.
