The Rejected Alpha's Vengeance-Chapter 553: And In The End, All I Had Was You
[HAWI]
"But what if she is her, Mbali? What if she is the girl who owns my heart? Then what?" Hawi asked earnestly as she looked at her friend. She knew that this wasn’t what they had thought possible.
For years they had lived their lives recklessly like they didn’t have anything to tether them to the world of the living. They truly had lived like the world was just a horror show that they had been forced to be in.
It wasn’t the easiest of things at the time and there was no denying that life had gone to shit at the same time.
The days that they had been as Rafael and Khalif had been the craziest of their lives and yet somehow, none of those wild days could ever match up to the day they had had today.
It was crazy, more than they had ever thought possible and it hurt because they were stuck in a world of maybes. Maybe they need to be courageous but then what would happen if that was the case for them?
How would they ever be able to vote forward? Were there any owed apologies? What of the questions that had never been answered desire the fact that three centuries had gone by in a whiff? What of the speculation that had never once been fully put to rest?
This right here was a pandora and Hawi hoped it wasn’t the best of things for them. They would be forced back into a pain that they had never thought to face through and through.

"Hawi… the goddess is a conniving woman. I know how it feels. I understand what you feel, rule. But we can’t give in. We can’t let her think that she has us where she wants us. We have to be careful with everything we do," Mbali said and Hawi chuckled defeatedly.
Or years and years they had lived lives they had never mated and now it turned out that they would have to live in the shadows. Hawi was issued and wanted to ruin everything, but at the same time, there was that nagging feeling that the werewolf queen was the love of her life.
She didn’t know what it was that had her leaning out that side but it was the only thing that we gave her hope. She needed to know what the fuck had happened and now her Ruru had come to lose her memories.
It wasn’t something that was easy for her, which meant that her Ruru had to have had it worse. She wouldn’t stop no matter what happened and this time, she would fight for the truth.
Her truth.
Her Ruru’s truth.
She would find their world and get it all back regardless of the chaos that would ensue between the realm... Anything for the love of her life.
"Then we play her game. Let’s go back to the club and figure out what is going on there," Hawi said and Mbali stared at her like she had lost a part of her mind. Then again, Mbali wasn’t surprised by the decision Hawi had made.
There was no knowing what would happen to Ruru — if the queen was relay Ruru. And Hawi was not going to leave her mate like that. She had to figure out what would happen along the way.
"Scents?" Mbali asked.
"Masked. We are going to be invisible so we don’t need to go in as anyone other than ourselves. There isn’t a magic in the realm stronger than mine. Besides there is the chance that Ruru seeing me will trigger her memories and they might attempt a memory wipe on her to keep her an amnesiac.
"That is some kind of thing we don’t want her to go through if she had ever gone through it again," Hawi said and Mbali chuckled this time. Your next read is at novelbuddy
She looked around Hawi almost like this was the first time she was seeing this much progress from the wild women. But then again, she couldn’t even try to blame her because if the roles were reversed then she would have done the same for Amina.
"We are back in business," Mbali said and Hawi tried not to smile at the thought of their normal that was waiting for them. They had been apart for so many years so there is no point in trying to keep things casual with each other. She missed Ruru and she had to get her.
"Let’s go," Hawi said as she created a portal back to Club Hernia.
"Alright," Mbali said as they went through the portal, both of them with their focus on the one person who could give them so much hope or take everything from them. It was that twisted and fucked up, but at the same time, it was all they had to live by.
The portal travel took longer than they had anticipated when the portal finally closed, it was like so much had changed in the world that they had levied in. What had been night was suddenly day and unsettling as fuck.
The was an eerie silence around like there wasn’t even a sight of life and love. It was all so twisted and Hawi felt like she couldn’t breathe. She took the time to try and get herself off the table, but then it didn’t seem to work, because nothing changed.
And the worst part of it, other than the creepy state of where the portal had landed her, was the fact that she was alone.
"What the fuck?" Hawi asked as she looked at the place where the portal had closed. She could have sworn that Mbali had gone through the portal with her and that she had portaled to the club Hernia.
Well, unless Club Hernia was suddenly a vast land with no sign of life or even trees, then this was it. The sun was shining so harshly and Hawi felt like her skin would burn to ashes under the feel of the sun.
It wasn’t normal and it was creeping her out.
Of course, she thought that this was just a game, so she tried to focus back on Hernia, but there was nothing she could see. It was like she was unable to think about what mattered the most and that scared the shit out of her.
"Hello!" Hawi called out in the hope that there was someone, anyone who was around to help her with the silence around her. And yet each time she called out, she could hear echoes of her own voice bouncing back at her.
They were agonizingly slow comebacks and Hawi felt like she was trapped. Perhaps that was the only truth that she would work with, and even if she was trapped, where the fuck was she then?
"Is anyone here?" Hawi asked as she stared at the blackness before her. This was insane and she hadn’t expected this, but at the time, she wasn’t scared of what could happen here.
She had lost everything and she didn’t have anything left to lose.
Maybe if this was her way of getting back to her Ruru, then she would accept whatever fate that was coming for her. It didn’t matter that there was a chance she would never reincarnate. What was a world without her Rukiya Greyson anyway?
"Hello, child."
