The Primordial Record-Chapter 2126: Anyone Who Crosses This Line Shall Die
The Ancient Primordial reeled back from the shock of what they had just witnessed. There was so much here that could not be discerned at just a glance, and the implications of what Eos had done and was doing had not fully settled into their stunned mind.
Eos, on the other hand, fully understood what he was doing from the moment he confirmed that Elgorath was a Luminious and not a Primordial.
Lumen had told him many secrets of the past, but whether it was by accident or they did not know how closely Eos’s connection was with his Incarnation, he was able to collect a bit of information from his Incarnation that was missing and was being imprisoned beside the consciousness of Enoch.
Eos had not gained much information from this merger, only brief memories of the ranting of Enoch, but they had filled in some gaps in his memories.
One of the rants by Enoch was about the attitude of the Luminious in the past, when they tried to push the inhabitants of Existence away from the path of End. At that time, Eos had believed that this was the truth, and it was also confirmed by Lumen.
There had been no reason to doubt the words of the wings or Enoch, but one thing stuck with him, and it was when Enoch had told Rowan that the Luminious began to walk among the lesser beings in Existence, so they could learn from them, and soon they were stained by the chaotic nature of life, and they purged all of that emotion into the flames that gave Enoch life, cursing him with their fears and ambitions.
There were truths here, but the best lies were also presented as truths.
Eos had picked on the fact that the Luminious were able to change their shapes, because their true form were so bright, beautiful, and perfect that they would not be able to walk among the lesser races without drawing attention.
If that was the case, then it meant that if the Luminious did not perish during the destruction of the last Existence, then they still remained, but some of them had the capacity to change their shapes to stay among those they referred to as the lesser races.
It was possible that the Luminious had been destroyed; in fact, from what he could understand from the few moments that he met Enoch, he had truly believed that he was the last of the Luminious; however, something could be true and also be false.
Eos had seen the tenth dimension; he had not just seen it, he had briefly entered it, and he saw the true face of Existence. He saw Existence as a painting, and the force of Erasure upon that painting as End. There was also a hand with a brush, and Eos called that hand the Painter.
What was the one thing he knew about Existence and the Luminious? It was that every time Existence ended, the Luminious remained. However, the force of erasure was so strong that the only reason the Luminious could have survived was that they lived outside the painting.
Enoch was the youngest of the Luminious; he was the one who could be easily deceived because, for one, he had never witnessed the end of Existence before. He had not seen everything that he knew vanish, and so there was no way for him to understand the true inheritance of his people.
He was a bullet, primed to be the hand of End, and he shattered all of Existence, and so when he finally left his hiding place and saw a new Existence without any Luminious remaining, Enoch believed that he had killed them.
To ensure that he would not realize the truth, his last connection with the Luminious, which were his wings, a unique characteristic of the Luminious, was torn from his body... he was somehow deceived that before Existence could become what it truly was, he needed to shed his wings.
Now, Eos knew that story was bullshit... Existence was a painting, and Origin as Eos could understand it was that paintbrush. However, the hand holding that paintbrush could not seem to control what the paintbrush was painting, and it used its power of Erasure to clean everything being painted.
Everyone knew what happened next, Enoch went beyond the boundaries that had been set up for him, and he pushed far past what the Painter wanted, and as so, the painting had spilled past its boundaries, and to halt its progress, experiments were made to bring the painting back into its previous order, and that experiments led to the birth of lifeforms inside Existence that was too powerful for the present state of Existence to ever create.
Lifeforms like the Primordials and Eos, who all held the bloodlines of beings who had transcended the painting.
The Primordial Record was the tool that was to be used to reverse the expansion of Existence, however, it was only a stop gap and it could not fully reverse this trend, not unless someone was to absorb all of the power inside the Singularity and pull back the expansion of Existence from the inside, thereby eliminating the force that was pushing upon the fabrics of Existence, and causing it to expand beyond limit.
This part of the truth was known by Eos; it was easily shared with him by both Lumen and Enoch, because they expected that Eos would strive to gain all this power from the Primordial for two things: either to ensure that the expansion of Existence did not stop, or to gain leverage. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
They had all believed that Eos needed to consume the Origin Force inside the Primordial Record to gain access to the Origin Essence inside of it... that was the logical direction, but Eos had taken a different step.
He created Incarnations, all of which had sturdied every single Origin Force inside the Primordial Record, and then he began eating the Origin Essence. This was a path to power that was uniquely his own, and he had schemed to gain enough time for his plans to reach fruition.
Eos kept reaching into the Primordial Record and reaching for the Origin Forces inside and crushing them, while simultaneously, the Incarnations he had placed inside the Origin Realms began to push for the level of Primordials.
Due to the nature of the Origin Realms, the Ancient Primordials could not just destroy it to kill the Incarnations reaching for the level of Primordial, because they would push the expansion of Existence further... the only solution to that problem was to stop the man in front of them.
All of these thoughts and similar variants of them passed through the minds of the Ancient Primordials here. They may not have understood everything that was going on with Elgorath, but one thing they knew was that they could not allow Eos to succeed.
"Release all your armies," Elgorath roared, "Crush the Origin Realms... We cannot let all of his Incarnation reach the Primordial level, or we are doomed!"
It was then that another realization passed through the minds of the Ancient Primordials... Even though Eos was an Old One, the source of his strength came from all the roots of the Origin Forces seeded inside his Origin Land... if his Incarnations all reach the Primordial Level, his powers would multiply, and if possible, he may use the opportunity to push his main body to the ninth dimensional level, but unknown to them, if Eos knew what they were thinking, he would consider that they were still looking down at his plans a little too much.
Six primordial forces blasted towards Eos, and he sneered. Behind him appeared his throne of stone, and, as if he were not being attacked, he sat comfortably upon it and, with a gesture, a single line of light appeared before his throne.
"Anyone who crosses this line shall die."
