The Prime Minister Seduced Me to have Babies!-Chapter 93: Fallen Into a Trap
Mrs. Zhou can’t read, but she opened the household register and counted the names on it once. After counting, she said, "The numbers don’t match. Has the main house been separated?"
"Didn’t you say just bring back the family separation document?"
Mr. Jiang didn’t really want to talk, and reluctantly explained, "Zhao Lizheng went to the government office a while ago."
Mrs. Zhou asked in confusion, "Wasn’t it supposed to be at the end of the year? How is it done already?"
Mr. Jiang realized, "Yes, how is it already done?"
Zhao Lizheng wouldn’t be so diligent, going all the way to the county just for their family separation."
He suddenly understood, either it’s Jiang Youzhi or Yun Jiao who instructed Zhao Lizheng to do it. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
These two are literate, with many tricks up their sleeves.
It seems they can’t wait to separate from the Jiang Family!
Back when we divided the family, I thought we got rid of the main house’s burden.
I’ve fallen into their trap, no wonder the main house has been eating meat every day since the family division!
Mr. Jiang shared his analysis, and Mrs. Zhou gritted her teeth, "It must be that little prostitute!"
"Her medical skills are so great, she can surely heal Youzhi’s leg!"
"If she brings this up, could we still separate the family?"
Mr. Jiang also thought it made sense upon hearing it.
Mrs. Zhou opened the window and started cursing loudly, "Little tramp, heartless thing, our family was doing just fine, and you wrecked it all!"
"May you be struck by lightning, filthy wretch... "
Initially, Yun Jiao wasn’t aware, but the more she listened, the more she felt something was off. Were they insulting her?
Recently she hadn’t even cross paths with Mrs. Zhou, much less offended her, right?
She closed the window, lit the oil lamp, stuffed her ears with a handkerchief, and continued reading.
Next door, Zhao Lizheng heard Mrs. Zhou’s yelling, and shook his head with a bitter smile. Brother Jiang is really too confused.
The more they curse, the more strained the relationship becomes!
It seems his reminder to Mr. Jiang was a waste.
Laying in bed with a book, Jiang Youzhi heard the unbearable insults, and furrowed his brows, unable to help pounding the bed board.
He now only resents not having legs, resents not earning money by any means, otherwise, he would have moved his entire family out a long time ago, saving them from such humiliation.
Mrs. Chen was in the room, daring not to speak out despite her irritation, since Mrs. Zhou is her mother-in-law, and despite being unbeatable against all village women, she dared not bicker with Mrs. Zhou.
She got up worriedly, pushed open the door to the next room and took a look.
Yun Jiao had a handkerchief stuffed in each ear as she read a book.
Mrs. Chen felt somewhat reassured, went back to her room to find a lump of cotton, tore a bit off, and handed it to Yun Jiao.
Seeing the cotton, Yun Jiao smiled, nodded to Mrs. Chen, pulled down the handkerchief and stuffed her ears with cotton.
It’s undeniable, the cotton works much better.
During dinner at night, Ah Tie refused to eat inside the house.
Yun Jiao had no choice but to give him some food, letting him sit in the kitchen to eat.
Seeing a full bowl of rice and another bowl of dishes with some meat inside, Ah Tie was moved to tears, feeling even more grateful towards Yun Jiao, secretly vowing to repay her kindness with all his strength.
Next morning, Yun Jiao still hired Liu Er’s wagon to take Ah Tie into town.
Liu Er is Ah Tie’s uncle.
Seeing Ah Tie now dressed in old clothes but they were clean without holes, the smell was gone, and he was no longer the timid boy he remembered.
Now this child dared to look him in the eye and called him uncle.
