The Prime Minister Seduced Me to have Babies!-Chapter 367: Purely a Mistake
Yun Jiao patted his head, "No."
"I plan to wait a few days, finish seeing my patients, and then personally take her back."
"You’re still a child. This kind of thing should be handled by your sister."
Gu Chuan pressed his lips together, "Then I’ll go with you, sister."
Yun Jiao nodded, "Alright."
She first went to the front and told Ah Hu that she wouldn’t be leaving tomorrow.
Then she went back to her room, washed up, carried her bedding and luggage, and moved to Li’s room.
Mrs. Chen and Guihua were both there.
Li still had her eyes closed.
After Mrs. Chen and Guihua left, Yun Jiao closed the door and was just about to spread her bedding on the floor when she heard a knock on the door.
Opening the door, Lin Shuo stood outside, holding a piece of board in his hand as he came in.
He placed the board on the floor, "The floor is so cold and damp, having a board between will make it better."
Yun Jiao thanked him, and after he left, she laid a quilt on the board, then spread a bamboo mat, placed the pillow properly, and lay down on it.
In fact, Li on the bed had already woken up long ago.
The hanging incident earlier was purely her mistake.
She had prepared the white silk, tied the knot, put her neck in, and was planning to wait until someone passed by her room door, then cry out a few times to draw someone in and then pretend.
Knowing her mother was being forced to death by her, she didn’t believe Yun Jiao would still dare not agree to her marrying Qinglang.
Who knew no one came, no matter how long she waited.
Li thought for a bit, planned to come down first, as standing on a stool was quite unstable.
Just as she moved, who knew she stepped on the edge of the stool, and it flipped over.
Her neck got caught in the white silk, and she used her hands to pull hard, but the more she pulled, the tighter it got.
She couldn’t make a sound, and fear gradually crept over her, until after a while, she lost consciousness.
When Mrs. Chen and Guihua carried her to the bed, she woke up.
Since she couldn’t make a sound, she simply didn’t move.
She heard Yun Jiao say she would carry her luggage over and stay in the room with her at night. She felt happy again, thinking although she almost truly died this time and suffered a big loss, it was still useful.
Yun Jiao was still afraid she’d die.
Li opened her eyes from the darkness.
Her throat felt a bit sore, she swallowed and then said, "Anyway, I’m not going back to the countryside. If you force me to go back, just wait to collect my body."
Yun Jiao didn’t respond.
Earlier, she was shocked too much to suddenly see the hanging scene.
Reflecting on herself, she wondered if she’d gone too far, actually forcing her mother to hang herself.
By now, she had understood.
If Li truly wanted to die, well, why would she stop her?
She was staying not out of fear that she’d commit suicide, but afraid she’d sneak out in the middle of the night to meet with Boss Xu next door.
If Boss Xu hid Li somewhere, after a year or so, a woman in her thirties might even bear a child, which would be really disgusting.
She decided to keep an eye on Li.
Once she was delivered to her uncle’s house, out of sight, out of mind.
Seeing Yun Jiao not respond, Li thought she’d fallen asleep, so she raised her voice, "I’m serious, I must marry Qinglang, don’t stop me."
Yun Jiao turned over, facing away from Li, and said faintly, "The yellow-toothed man gave me a message yesterday, saying there’s some clue about where my father is."
Li sat up sharply from the bed, shrieked, "Impossible."
"You’re lying to me, you just don’t want me to marry!"
