Chapter 81: Fight

All five of them were using their account with the highest rank amongst their various alternate accounts, and the accumulated points for their rank were about to top the national server.

Seeing the opponents they were matched up with, Ji Zhiyao’s eyes narrowed slightly, somehow finding these few usernames a little familiar as if he had seen them somewhere before.

It was still K who spoke up first. “It’s Tall Boots again.”

Ji Zhiyao was suddenly enlightened, followed by being at a loss whether to cry or to laugh.

With the exception from W.J from the tournament, he had met professional players twice in total, and all were from the Tall Boots battleteam. Recalling the previous time he was dominated by Tall Boots jungler, Lan Guang, with a jungle that was cleaned out completely, he could not help but shiver.

Although that was because the mid-laner played by Xiao had died too many times, he had to admit that Lan Guang was really good. His jungling skills could at least rank in the top five of the entire nation.

He had agreed to use his skills to prove himself, but he could not stop feeling diffident.

“Don’t think too much. Just use Tall Boots to experiment our level of teamwork,” Mo Huaifeng said before picking their champions. When it came to choosing their champions, sure enough, everyone picked the one that they could use more smoothly.

In the first few minutes, both teams did not get any kills. In the first minute when the match began, Lan Guang had originally made a sudden appearance in Mix’s jungle intending to steal to blue buff, but that had already been predicted earlier by Ji Zhiyao. He hid in the bushes and took Lan Guang by surprise.

However, Lan Guang’s hand speed was very fast, so he only lost a bit of health. Yet, Mix’s jungle was also very well-guarded, so no obvious advantages arose for either side.

Finishing off the creeps from his side of the jungle, Ji Zhiyao began to roam the three top, middle, and bottom lanes. He was very clear about his own advantages and weakness. His mindset was very stable, and occasionally, he would step in when K and Heng missed a minion, once in a while suddenly appearing from the bushes to harass the opponents.

When the match had been ongoing for ten over minutes, he had only gotten three assists, but his gold was already the second highest amongst both teams. His equipment build was also gradually nearing completion.

Ji Zhiyao took time to glance at the gold stats for the match, and his tone was slightly excited. “Alright, I’m going to fly with you guys.”

K: “To the one who’s currently spouting a lot of nonsense, please move to the top lane and use an ability so that I can take a kill. The opponent ADC is too annoying. He hits the bull’s eye each time, and my chest is really hurting right now.”

Ji Zhiyao controlled his champion to move towards the top lane while saying, “You want me to use an ability, so you get the kill? Is the pain in your chest really not because your conscience hurts?”

K: “That might be a possibility.”

At the bottom lane, Mo Huaifeng had been driven to his limits. “Gao Xian Nuo, if you snatch my red buff one more time, I will turn back to the base and go afk.”

Nuo responded with a dumbfounded expression. “What, had I not dodged far enough earlier? Why did the buff still split?”

Ji Zhiyao, who was on his way back after helping K to harvest the top lane, twitched the corners of his lips. “Captain, are you still good? I want to go for the Dragon.”

“Without the red buff, I can’t even carry my bow.” Pausing, Mo Huaifeng thought with an icy look, moved his fingers with extremely fast handling, and finished off the opposing top-laner in a few seconds. “Get Gao Xian Nuo to do it for you.”

Heng was looking like he hardly wanted to live. “Stop talking, you bunch of people come here quickly! This crusty little mage of mine is standing in the dragon’s cave with NoHomo. The remaining half of my health is going to be finished soon,”

Mo Huaifeng: “Nuo, go first. Wait for me to finish pushing this turret. On the mini-map, three people from the opponent team have moved there. If you guys can’t take them on, run quickly.”

These words came a little too late, and in a blink of an eye, Ji Zhiyao was already facing those three people: Tall Boot’s support, mid-laner, and jungler Lan Guang.

Ji Zhiyao was currently fighting the Dragon, and he licked the corners of his lips. As the three players from Tall Boots were gradually approaching the dragon’s cave and, in the next second, would be bringing him into their attack range, Ji Zhiyao threw two abilities onto the Dragon. Then, he used an ability for immunity for a second, jumping out from the surrounded circle that was almost closed up by the three of them.

In the next moment, the Dragon raged, and an attack with an additional 50% of damage dropped on the trio of Tall Boots without a miss. Purple light flashed across, and all them froze for a second. Their health lines all dropped by a quarter.
