The Maid's Rise to Be a President's Wife-Chapter 267: Back to the Ji Family Estate
Chapter 267 - Back to the Ji Family Estate
"Then you brought me back and took advantage of me, didn't you?" Three black lines appeared on Yiren's forehead. "You're so unreasonable! I hate you so much!" Yiren said, then wrapped herself in the sheet and rushed into the bathroom, not caring about what would happen to Ji Minze.
In the bathroom, Yiren looked at the obvious marks left after their intimate encounter and almost broke down. What were they to each other now?
She filled the bathtub with water and immersed herself in it. Her tears flowed into the warm water, leaving no trace. If she could truly disguise herself as having no traces like this, she might suffer less pain. But she couldn't do it. All her deliberately feigned strength would crumble and she would surrender automatically whenever she faced Ji Minze.
Yiren scrubbed herself so vigorously that she almost rubbed off a layer of skin, yet she still didn't want to get out of the bathtub.
"Yiren, it's Mom. Are you done with your bath?" Ji Aier asked gently outside. She knew that Ji Minze had gone to the bar and brought back the extremely drunk Yiren to the family home at around 4 o'clock in the morning yesterday, so she didn't go to the company this morning. Because there were some things that Ji Minze might need her help with. For instance, Ji Minze had told her that Yiren had been hiding in the bathroom for almost two hours and refused to come out.
If it were Ji En, he would surely have broken the door down without hesitation. But Ji Minze was different. He always respected the other person more and wouldn't use force, so he had to ask her for assistance.
"Almost done, Mom!" Yiren was stunned after saying this. She had actually called Ji Aier "Mom". How could she call her that? Hadn't she told herself countless times that she had no relationship with Ji Minze anymore? So how could she still call Ji Aier "Mom"?
Ji Aier smiled knowingly. The fact that Yiren was still willing to call her "Mom" indicated that she still had feelings for Ji Minze in her heart.
Wrapping a towel around herself, Yiren walked into the dressing room and found that her clothes in the closet were still there, neatly arranged as before. She picked out a white T-shirt and paired it with cropped jeans, then put them on. After that, she walked out of the dressing room.
"I'm really glad you're back, dear," Ji Aier walked over and took Yiren's hand, saying.
"Thank you," Yiren didn't know what to say. Facing such a gentle and kind elder, how could she tell her that she hadn't decided to come back yet and that last night had just been an accident?
"Let's go downstairs for breakfast. I'm hungry too," Ji Aier held Yiren's hand and said, then headed towards the door.
Yiren didn't know what to do, so she followed Ji Aier passively.
"Yiren, you're back!" When Ji En saw Ji Aier leading Yiren downstairs, he greeted Yiren first for the first time. He had sensed Ji Minze's depression over the past two years and understood his son's feelings for Yiren were just like his feelings for Ji Aier.
"Yeah," Yiren nodded, feeling flattered.
"Have you forgotten what to call me?" Ji En asked with a feigned stern look.
"Dad!" Yiren blurted out in surprise. If she had to say who she was most afraid of, it was Ji En.
"That's right! Minze is waiting for you to have breakfast. Hurry up," Ji En smiled and said.
"Thank you, Dad!" Yiren said to Ji En. When she turned around, she happened to see Ji Minze standing there, smiling at her.
Yiren's face turned red all the way to her neck.
"Minze, you and Yiren go have breakfast first. Your dad and I will have a cup of tea first," Ji Aier said to them.

In the dining room,
"Don't misunderstand. I just don't want to make things difficult for them," Yiren said to Ji Minze. Then she reached out and took a sandwich and took a bite. She seemed to be especially hungry today.
Ji Minze just smiled and looked at her without saying anything. They had made a good start, which was a promising sign.
After having breakfast, Ji Minze drove Yiren back to the hotel.
"I'll come pick you up after work," Ji Minze said to Yiren, who was about to get out of the car.
"I have an important business dinner to attend tonight. It might be very late, and I'll go back to the hotel directly. You don't need to come pick me up. I'm leaving now," Yiren said and opened the car door.
"Yiren!" Ji Minze called out to her.
"Hmm? Mmm!" Yiren turned around but was pulled into Ji Minze's arms and received a long, tender kiss.
"No matter how late it is, I'll come pick you up," Ji Minze said as he released Yiren.
"Whatever," Yiren got out of the car as if fleeing and quickly walked into the hotel.
She didn't know that Long Zeming had been in a rage all morning just because she hadn't returned to the hotel and no one answered the phone.
"Assistant Yi, you're finally back!" Fujita Ichiro's eyes lit up like he had seen a savior when he saw Yiren.
"What's wrong?" Yiren asked in confusion, stopping the action of opening the door and turning to look at Fujita Ichiro.
"The president has been looking for you all morning," Fujita Ichiro said.
"Is there something urgent? Then I'll go see him first," Yiren turned and walked towards Long Zeming's suite.
Yiren knocked on the door of Long Zeming's suite.
"Don't bother me!" Long Zeming opened the door and roared, only to see that it was Yiren standing outside. He asked Yiren with a displeased expression, but his face obviously softened a bit. "Where have you been?"
"Nowhere," Yiren didn't want to tell Long Zeming that she had spent the night at the Ji family estate last night, and what's more, she had been with Ji Minze. "Is there something urgent you want me for? Today's schedule seems to be just that business dinner tonight," Yiren said as she walked into Long Zeming's room.
Seeing that the room was a bit messy, she turned around in surprise and asked Long Zeming,
"Has this place just been through a disaster?"
"No," Long Zeming expressionlessly threw the cushion back onto the sofa. "We'll go to the Convention and Exhibition Center this afternoon to check on the progress."
"Okay," Yiren nodded. She had been there the whole day before yesterday, and everything was going smoothly. Yang Yi had been inspecting the place all the time. But since Long Zeming wanted to go, she would accompany him. As long as he wasn't afraid of being secretly photographed or interviewed by reporters.
