"Thank the Mother, it’s raining."

"You are lucky. It will clean your face."

Adal and Juliette hurried out of the Pearlington Garden and headed back to his library.

She would have a proper bath once she was there, but for the time being, the rain would at least rid her of the semen on her face.

Like kids, they ran back to the library, and once inside, Adal left her in the bathroom to clean herself and deal with any lingering thoughts.

In the meantime, he pulled out his Smartphone and checked it.

He now had 1050 store credits, which means that, he was over halfway towards purchasing the System Scanner.

The store would reset in six days, which meant he had to act fast.

He glanced at his quests and saw that another had arrived in place of the one he had completed.

As he sat on the second floor of the library, on the balcony that overlooked the floor below, Penelope emerged from the bathroom behind him.

She was wrapped in only a towel, which unfortunately covered everything but the bottom half of her legs.

Adal looked down at her feet and remembered how she had used them in the past.

"I have fetched you a change of clothes. They are on the chair over there." Adal spoke.

As he did, Juliette looked at him with a curious look on her face.

"Thank you, Adal... But what about afterwards? Where will I go?"

It was a question he was waiting for her to ask.

Adal doubted that Leonard would truly disown his daughter, but one thing he was certain of, was that she did not belong in Fairwhite City.

Juliette was a noble through and through, but after being divorced by her husband, rumours would spread, and her reputation would be tarnished.

The only way that she could prevent that, was to return to John and give him the children that he wanted.

Or... she could run from the situation entirely.

Adal rose to his feet before the woman started changing in front of him. If she did, he would be distracted, and fuck her right there.

"Once you’re changed, come and find me in my bedroom."

He rose and made his way through the door. Juliette watched his back, assuming that the Librarian was about to pleasure her.

Yet as she stepped inside, she realised swiftly that she should never make assumptions about a man like Adal.

There was no predicting what the man would do...

Next to his bed stood a portal into another dimension. An Outer Realm Gate.

She had heard of these items, as they were owned by the most powerful people in Boen, and used to travel between lands to establish trade and politics.

Yet here there was one, in a simple librarian’s room.

Adal stood beside it, holding a finger up as if to silence the thoughts in Juliette’s mind.

"Let me explain first, and then you will talk."

Juliette gulped and listened to the man’s words.

He explained his meeting with the Iglantis Princess, and his deal created with the Iglantis King, which meant he would have to open a second library in Antarctica City. He explained the Ring of Guidance, and how it was a portal that led between his two libraries. He only left out his information regarding the royal family, and how he was supposed to get rid of them.

After all of this, Adal finally told her why he had explained all of this to her.

"I want you to work with me in my library, Juliette. Not this one, but rather the one in Antarctica. You can leave this Fairwhite life behind you and start anew, with me. I will need extra hands, as you know I cannot be in two places at once. I will look after you like you are my woman, as long as you continue to listen to what I say. As he presented the woman with his idea, he was expecting her to decline.

She had lived the noble life for so long. It would only make sense to head back to her father and beg for his forgiveness, so that she might continue with that life.

Instead, she threw herself into Adal’s arms, pressing herself up against him.

There were tears in her eyes, but they were not from sadness.

"There is nothing I would want more..." She said quietly.

Just like that, it was decided. Adal couldn’t help but think about how beautiful she might look in a librarian’s outfit.

"Do you want to have a look at the library... Or should I say, your new home?"

Juliette pulled away from him with excitement on her face.

"Y-yes... I would love to!"

Adal smiled at the woman’s cheerfulness. Then, he took hold of her hand firmly.

"Do not let go of me. Grip tightly the entire time."

Not understanding why, Juliette obeyed anyway. Her fingers clenched around his hand.

Then, the pair leapt into the impossible white light.

A few moments passed and Adal opened his eyes.

He was expecting to emerge into his Antarctica Bedroom. After all, that was where the Outer Realm Gate was supposed to lead.

But that was not where he was, and he no longer felt Juliette’s hand in his.

Adal looked around him.

In the Fairwhite City, it was still midnight, yet where he was now, it was bright as day.

"So you are the one whom they call my disciple?" A feminine voice spoke to him.
