As Adal spoke, he was writing down the finishing touches to the play.

Adal chuckled to himself.

He believed her, sort of.

Willow was definitely severely interested in him. After all, he had just made her feel the most amount of pleasure she had ever experienced in her forty years of living.

As for the other races, they could be found further out into the larger world. Outside of what was called the Mainlands.

That meant that for now, Adal would have to settle for the Mainland races.

He thought about it as he scratched his chin. Eventually, he shook his head.

I have read her Lustful Thoughts, however, it seems that she is deeply in love with the other male guard.

Besides, I am not too attracted to her. She is a bit too masculine for my liking.

With that, Adal decided he would focus on the other quest first, and wait until an opportunity to sleep with a non-human presented itself to him later.

Finally, with his 550, Adal decided to check the store on his smartphone.

It reminded him of a microtransaction screen in a live service video game back on Earth.

Adal read over each of the items carefully.

The dream world seemed interesting to him. He had heard about it many times before in books.

Apparently, it was possible to become lost there, with no way to return to your physical body. It was a known realm full of dangers, yet many still doubted its existence.

The Dagger of Morning seemed interesting too. He wondered what it would feel like to move at three times his speed.

Yet, what interested him most was the final, most expensive item.

The System Scanner.

He knew that this was what he wanted.

He would be able to see the classes, level, and skills of everyone who was awakened. This could help him pick worthy subjects to steal skills from.

Not to mention, it seemed that others already had some sort of variety of this item. King Elios was able to read his level after all.

2000 credits is a lot... I will have to seriously focus on my quests, otherwise the item will disappear in seven days.
