Chapter 1114: Chapter 114 is Master Ye who told me to come here to find you (1)

"Then hurry up and pinch!" Susu urged.

Being all alone is really quite pitiful, only when together with little friends is it the happiest!

"Why don’t you try pinching, Susu? The clay is over there," said the Butler.

"No, mine are so ugly, they don’t look like a family," Susu muttered.

"How about I find you some help, Susu, would that be okay?" the Butler asked.

"Okay!" Susu agreed without hesitation.

Beside her, Qin Yanzhi was filled with black lines across his forehead, thinking to himself that once they got back, he’d have to properly instruct his sister. Otherwise, what would they do if a bad guy managed to trick her into running off next time?

The Butler, quite satisfied, immediately went to the next room to bring Lu Zhanyu over.

When Susu saw Lu Zhanyu, she realized there was a problem, slapped her own forehead, and muttered annoyed, "I wasn’t careful."

Seeing Susu slapping her own head, distraught yet expectant, Lu Zhanyu found her adorable and a shallow smile appeared on his lips.

The old Master Lu quickly stood up, grabbing Qin Yanzhi and heading downstairs, saying they were off to discuss business. However, everyone knew that he was doing this to give his grandson, Zhanyu, and Susu a chance to restore their friendship.

In the coffee shop on the first floor of the office building next to Yueyuan Group’s campus, by the window seat, Tantai Ming was leisurely enjoying his coffee.

And opposite him sat the man who had been investigating him for nearly half a year—Shao Jinyang.

Meeting again, Tantai Ming appeared very relaxed, showing no signs of panic or distress.

Shao Jinyang also didn’t rush things, simply asking the waiter for a cup of coffee first.

After the coffee arrived, he added some milk and sugar, then stirred it slowly with a spoon.

Seeing him more leisurely than himself, Tantai Ming chuckled lightly, "What’s the matter, you’ve already figured out how to catch me?"

Shao Jinyang put down the spoon, picked up his cup of coffee, took a sip, and said indifferently, "It seems like you’re very confident in your ability to escape from me."

"Not bad, considering I’ve escaped a few times before, I’m kind of experienced," said Tantai Ming, chuckling, his eyes challenging.

"I’ve always been curious about how you manage to escape from me and yet always show up around Susu and the others," Shao Jinyang stated.

"Oh? Have you figured it out yet?" Tantai Ming sneered, finding it amusing that a mere mortal would be able to understand such a thing.

"No, I’ve used years of work experience to reason it out and couldn’t come up with a logical explanation," Shao Jinyang answered, stating a fact about his failure with composure.

"Then you’re pretty smart, knowing you can’t deal with me, you just stay calm," Tantai Ming assessed, setting aside their opposition, he admired Shao Jinyang’s rationality and calmness.

"Unfortunately, yesterday I encountered another man, and he too couldn’t be explained by common sense," Shao Jinyang said.

"Oh, then you really are unlucky, always running into men like me," Tantai Ming mocked, continuing to ridicule and challenge Shao Jinyang.

Seeing Shao Jinyang frustrated had become a sort of pleasure for him.

"He told me he was Susu’s mentor and also told me that I could catch you if I came here today," Shao Jinyang continued.

Upon hearing this, the image of that lean and gentle man came into Tantai Ming’s mind.

That ordinary man who claimed to have a knack for fortune-telling!

Tantai Ming’s gaze instinctively scanned the surroundings, searching for that man’s figure.

"He didn’t come," Shao Jinyang interjected.

"Besides telling you to come here to find me, what else did he say?" Tantai Ming asked.
