"Eeee!?" Her eyes enlarged ever so slightly, but she shook her head.

She was not in the mood at the moment.

Alan did not push further.

No ice cream for the one, who doesn't want his cream.

But, the simple healthy happiness was short-lived in this chaotic world. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

The air turned a deep shade of crimson; a bloody red mist covered the atmosphere.

"Th-This!? What is this? This is blood," Alan muttered under his breath looking around.

It was something like blood magic, the kind vampires would use.

The mist was everywhere, making it very difficult to tell where it was coming from.

Suddenly, the air began to change. The wind picked up, blowing stronger and stronger until it became a fierce gust.

The temperature dropped rapidly, and dark clouds gathered overhead, blocking the gentle early morning sunlight.

In the distance, a low rumble of thunder could be heard.

The air crackled with electricity, and flashes of lightning illuminated the dark sky.

Tip! Tip!

Tip! Tip!

Red drops of rain began to fall, starting as a light drizzle but quickly becoming a torrential downpour. The raindrops were cold and sharp, stinging the skin.

"Ah!? This is bad... Everyone inside now!" Alan shouted as he saw the rain.

"It's poisonous. We must seek shelter immediately."

He added this after noticing the strange nature of the rain. Whenever a drop touched the ground, light black smoke rose into the sky.

Lyra quickly turned and rushed back into the mansion, her heart racing with fear. The others followed close behind with swift, urgent movements.

Once inside, the doors and windows were quickly shut and barricaded.

The house grew quiet for a moment, except for the sound of heavy breathing and the occasional creak of an old wooden swinging chair.

Wooooooo~

Outside, the storm raged on, the wind howling and the rain pounding against the windows like a thousand tiny drummers.

Clanggggg!!!

The glass shattered as soon as it came into contact with the rain.

"This storm is not natural," Alan said, keeping his voice low but serious, unable to comprehend what was happening. "I think it is caused by dark magic. I guess we need to find the source and put an end to it before it is too late."

"I agree," Lyra nodded, her face souring as her jaw dropped upon seeing the shattered glass. Something like this had simply never been seen before.

"This is blood rain, a magic used by high-ranking royal vampires," Ling'er said.

Vampires!?

"Vampires!?" The others looked surprised.

"Yes," Ling'er replied. "Vampires use blood rain to spread their blood across the land. It weakens the living and strengthens the undead. This is a sign that the war between the races has begun."

"Wait! Could it be that the worlds have started merging?" Alan began to connect the pieces.

The portal was an early sign. Soon enough, the worlds would begin merging until there was only one world with an abundant aura.

"Merging of worlds!?" Ling'er and Lyra looked confused.

Alan had mentioned this before, so the sisters had some idea about it.

"Yeah... If I recall correctly, each dimension contains 23,678 worlds, and each universe has exactly 95,410 dimensions. In the end, there will be only one world... That means it's the end of the universe, and we have around only a century left," Alan explained.

"But why!? Why are the worlds merging!?" Selena asked.

"Hmm... I don't know... But I guess we can find out once we ascend to Heaven," Alan shrugged.

"Ascend to Heaven!?" someone gasped.

"There are four realms:

1: The Living Realm

2: The Spirit Realm

3: The Heaven Realm

4: The Truth Realm

The realm is the house of the universe, where countless universes exist. We are currently in the Living Realm. Once we die, we go to the Spirit Realm, but if we can ascend to Heaven..." Alan said earnestly.

"Wow, Master is so knowledgeable!" Ling'er said.

"Indeed, Master is very knowledgeable..."

"Wow, Master is wise..."

The women praised.

"Ugh, now is not the time for such things. Master, you said we need to find the cause of the storm. How are we supposed to do that?" Selena asked, her brow furrowed in concern.

Is there even a way to find it!?

"Good question..." Alan replied, his gaze shifting from one worried face to another. Geez, how come these women look so scared?

We have to survive until the end.

"If I am honest, I don't know how to locate it, but I think I can remove the blood rain with my authority," Alan said.

"Your authority!? How!?" they asked.

"Easy. I need to use one of my authorities... and it will stop the rain. The authority is called 'Where there is a will, there is a way.'"

"Woah!? Where there is a will, there is a way!? What kind of authority is that!?"

"Heh! I can do anything. Just wait and watch," Alan boasted.

Everyone nodded.

Outside, the dark storm clouds churned and swirled, heavy with malevolent energy. The air crackled with unnatural purple lightning, each bolt illuminating the sky in eerie flashes, followed by earth-shattering thunder.

Underneath the ominous sky, a lone figure stood atop a crumbling watchtower. It was a woman clad in tattered robes, her long hair wild and untamed as it whipped in the wind. Her eyes glowed with an otherworldly red light.

She raised her hands to the heavens, chanting in a language long forgotten. The words of her incantation echoed through the land, carried by the storm's winds.

As she spoke, the clouds above her swirled faster, condensing into a massive vortex that pulsed with dark energy. Lightning arced between the clouds and the ground, striking the earth with deafening crashes.

With a final triumphant cry, the woman brought her hands down in a sweeping gesture. The vortex above her erupted, unleashing a torrent of blood-red rain upon the land.

Mind you, she was literally two continents away from Alan.

The world of vampires had merged with their magical world.
