The Invincible Dragon Emperor-Chapter 1231 - Warlord Qing Wujin

The Beast of the Void pressed forward. God of Wings was enjoying herself with a cup of tea in one hand and the Wicked Bead in another. The faint, green glow indicated that she was gradually taking control of the Wicked Bead.
Truth be told!
God of Wings could work faster. However, she was afraid that Lu Li would fight back vigorously. Like boiling a frog in warm water, God of Wings hoped to cripple Lu Li’s psychological line of defense slowly.
What she was most worried about was that Lu Li might destroy the hidden treasures inside, especially the valuable books collected by Tian Lingzi.
While Lu Li was dissolving the fifth layer of the seal, he could tell that he was gradually losing control of the Wicked Bead…
If God of Wings were to master the Wicked Bead, him dissolving the fifth seal would only further facilitate God of Wings. That being said, what else could he do? Just like a beast trapped in a cage, he had no way out.
The Deaf Taoist was consuming the last piece of Red Flake. But he wouldn’t provide much help even if he were given extra pieces of Red Flake. After all, there was a huge gap in abilities between him and God of Wings. As far as she was concerned, there was nothing to worry about the Deaf Taoist.
The immortal’s body?
Maybe there could be a glimmer of hope if Blood Fairy could have more time. If she took full control of the Formations inside the immortal’s body, there was a chance to defeat God of Wings.
“Control?”
Something inspired Lu Li. Blood Fairy could master Inhibition Formations. Once, she took control of the Divine Imperial City. Would it be faster if she could help dissolve the fifth seal?
Though the Wicked Bead might not offer Lu Li great help even with the fifth seal off, this was the last chance Lu Li could grasp.
“Blood Fairy!”
Lu Li sent a message. “Can you help me fasten my progress in dissolving the seal?”
Through the spiritual link, Blood Fairy actually could know something of what Lu Li was doing.
After a moment of silence, she replied, “I need to take a look. Master, give me some time.”
A ray of blood-red light shone around the hand of the immortal’s body. From the hand, a vine reached out into the wall in the hall.
Lu Li was in fear and trembling. Bloodvine was his only hope. If the Bloodvine could not help, then Lu Li would have to resign himself into the disposal of God of Wings. His life would be entirely up to her.
Time moved on. Half a day passed but Bloodvine offered no reply. Apart from continuing to dissolve the seal, there was nothing Lu Li could do other than wait in agitation.
One day later!
Lu Li was taken aback as he realized that he was making progress 10 times faster. The seal was melting quickly.
“Well, Blood Fairy, is it you?”
Lu Li, in a state of ecstasy, sent a message to Blood Fairy who responded, “Yes, master. I have figured out the seal. I changed the formation a little bit. Is it easier now?”
“Well done!”
Lu Li praised her. Then, he said nothing else and focused his mind on dissolving the fifth seal.
He thought he must spend at least over a dozen days to completely dissolve the seal. Thanks to Blood Fairy, he was working 10 times as fast. Now, he assumed he could finish in another two days at most.
“Listen up!”
Lu Li sent another message to Blood Fairy. “Help me monitor the Wicked Bead because God of Wings is trying to take control. Disturb her… if possible. Stall her.”
“Okay!”
Blood Fairy used her tentacles to check the formation inside the Wicked Bead while Lu Li continued to dissolve the fifth seal with full attention.
One day passed. Two days later!
The fifth seal of the Wicked Bead suddenly melted completely. Some fresh information emerged in Lu Li’s mind.
At the same time, the left wall of the hall began to glow. A door… appeared out of thin air on that wall.
“Eh!”
Lu Li combed through the information on his mind and then turned to the new door, puzzled.
The Wicked Bead did not demonstrate new functions after the fifth seal melted. There was just one more inner hall, which was connected by that door.
“What is inside that hall?”
Lu Li frowned. He was quite nervous. If nothing was of value in that core inner hall, or the things inside could not help him deal with God of Wings, he would never stage a comeback.
“Creak~”
He walked to that new door and pushed it. The door was opened. Lu Li stepped in. He was seized with a flash of light before he re-emerged in a beautiful valley.
“What…”
Lu Li could not believe this. He was just in that hall outside. How could he come to this valley just because he stepped into the core inner hall? Was he outside the Wicked Bead now?
“No! I am still inside the Wicked Bead!”
Lu Li checked. He was sure he was still within the Wicked Bead and so was the valley. This was a peculiar space.
“Good heavens!”
Lu Li could not help but exclaim. He could accept the fact that a bead had many halls but was surprised to know that a special space could be created in the bead. This valley looked just like a real one outside with trees and ponds…
Lu Li was in no mood to appreciate the views in the valley. He looked around and soon noticed a cabin by the pond. There was nothing else in the valley. The only place that might contain some valuables was that cabin.
He stepped slowly to that cabin. He tried to use psychic power, only to realize that the Inhibition Formation had restricted that.
“Creak~”
He gently pushed the door of the cabin. Lu Li threw a look inside. His pupils contracted as he was frightened by what he saw.
He saw… someone in there!
No, it was not someone, but a skeleton, a skeleton of a human being.
The skeleton was sitting on the ground with his legs crossed and his back facing Lu Li. The skeleton was sitting on a cushion. It was dim inside so that scene looked quite appalling.
“Is this the remains of Tian Lingzi?”
Lu Li calmed himself down and asked himself. He did not step in rashly. Instead, he bowed to the bones three times. The dead must be honored. What was more, the Wicked Bead belonged to Tian Lingzi and had helped Lu Li out many times.
Afterward, Lu Li moved in slowly. He checked the cabin up and down. Soon, he noticed a table in front of the skeleton. There was nothing else in the cabin other than the skeleton, a hide scroll on the table and a small wooden box.
Lu Li walked past the skeleton and picked up the hide scroll and the wooden box. On the cover of the hide scroll, he read several words but could not quite get its meaning—Warlord Qing Wujin.
“Warlord? Qing Wujin?”
Lu Li blinked. He opened the scroll and took a look at the words inside. His eyes widened as he threw another look at the skeleton in disbelief.
It said on the hide scroll that this was not an average skeleton, nor the remains of Tian Lingzi, but a powerful weapon that Tian Lingzi had forged at a huge cost.
Tian Lingzi gave the skeleton an impressive name, Warlord Qing Wujin…
