The Hunter's Lively Wife-Chapter 84 - : Run Away
Chapter 84: Chapter 84: Run Away
Gu Ya’s limp, after inspection by Su Yunjin, was found to be completely curable. Thus, after leaving Gu Ya’s father’s room, Su Yunjin began to ponder whether Gu Ya’s father could also be healed.
With this thought in mind, Su Yunjin planned to check on Gu Ya’s father at some point. If he could be healed, then she would help cure his paralysis; if not, then so be it.
Gu Ya did not know she possessed medical skills. If she mentioned her intention to heal his father’s paralysis, Gu Ya certainly wouldn’t believe her. Since he wouldn’t believe her anyway, there was no need to tell him.
That was one reason, another being that Su Yunjin feared Gu Ya might probe too deep. If Gu Ya did believe her, then she would not be able to explain how she came to have medical knowledge.
After all, the original owner of her body had no medical skills. If she suddenly displayed medical knowledge without explanation, it would inevitably raise Gu Ya’s suspicions.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, Su Yunjin now decided not to share her recent thoughts with Gu Ya.
...
“Yunjin, why have you stopped talking?” Gu Ya’s voice came from above Su Yunjin’s head. Unruffled when telling a lie, Su Yunjin replied, “Oh, I wasn’t really thinking about anything. Just that I want to head back to our room and rest for a while.”
Raising an eyebrow, Gu Ya did not believe what his young wife had said, “Yunjin, tell me the truth?”
Not expecting Gu Ya to be so difficult to fool, fortunately Su Yunjin had thick skin. With a cunning twinkle in her eye and a carefree smile, she looked at him saying, “Husband, I’m telling the truth!”
“…” Although Gu Ya still did not believe what his young wife said, he did not ask further. Since she was unwilling to tell, it was unnecessary to keep inquiring.
Once back in the room, Su Yunjin went to sleep. Today’s lunch should have been prepared by Su Yunjin, but with the incident involving Gu Changshun, no one ended up making it.
Gu Ya told everyone that Su Yunjin was resting due to discomfort. Mrs. An, his mother, quickly asked, “Third son, is Yunjin all right?”

“Mother, don’t worry! Yunjin is fine, just a bit tired. She’ll be better after some rest,” Gu Ya said.
Knowing that Su Yunjin was fine, Mrs. An was relieved, “Third son, since Yunjin is feeling unwell, let her rest properly.”
Since Su Yunjin couldn’t cook, Mrs. An arranged for Mrs. Han and Mrs. Chu, the sister-in-laws, to prepare the meals. Despite the issue with Gu Changshun, the mood in the Gu Family was somber, but the farm work still had to be done. The annual harvest and income of the Gu Family depended on those few acres of grain. After lunch, Mrs. An and others continued to go out to cut grain.
After lying down, Su Yunjin quickly fell asleep, undisturbed. Gu Ya stayed home the entire time to keep company with his young wife Su Yunjin, allowing her to enjoy a particularly deep sleep.
Only when it got dark did Su Yunjin wake up, and it was the tantalizing scent of frying eggs that roused her hunger, “That smells so good, like frying eggs?”
Sniffing the air deeply, Su Yunjin opened her eyes to see Gu Ya standing before her, “Yunjin, you’re awake? You’ve slept all afternoon, come and have something to eat.”
“Mm!” And truth be told, Su Yunjin was indeed feeling hungry. However, just as she got out of bed and before she could eat, she heard someone outside shouting, “Trouble, trouble, Gu Changshun, who was put in the cangue, has escaped!”
