The Heiress Spoiled by Four Brothers and One Devilish CEO-Chapter 201 First Time?
Inside the dim, cramped room, a man and a woman sat back-to-back on the cold floor, blindfolded, their hands tied behind them and legs bound tight.
The man shook his head slightly, now fully awake.
"Emily, you okay?"
She let out a soft hum. "Yeah, I’m fine. What about you, Professor Lewis?"
"I’m alright too. I’m sorry for dragging you into this."
Emily chuckled, voice light. "It’s really no big deal. I don’t have anyone I’d leave behind... Even if something happens to me, I doubt anyone would cry." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Brandon went quiet for a moment, clearly surprised. "What about your family? Don’t you have any siblings?"
"My parents divorced when I was seven. They both started new families and didn’t want me around. I lived with my grandma. But when I was fifteen, she passed away from lung cancer. That was the hardest time of my life—way worse than the divorce. I swore then I’d become a doctor, to save people like her."
She paused, voice more tender now. "I’m really glad I chose medicine... because it brought me to you."
Brandon stiffened slightly.
Sensing his reaction, Emily gave a lopsided smile. "Don’t worry, no pressure. Guys like you—smart, calm, cool—tons of girls would fall for you. I’m no different. I liked you from the moment I saw you. Sure, crushing on someone’s looks is superficial, but hey, I’m only human. Then I became your assistant, saw how responsible and kind you were, especially with your family... and I just liked you more.
I never planned to say anything. You’re like a star way up high, and I’m just a seashell stuck in the sand. Watching you from afar was enough. But today... I feel like I might not make it out. If I don’t speak up now, I’ll regret it—even in the next life.
So, Professor Lewis, just pretend you never heard any of this. I’m not asking you to respond. I couldn’t bear to hear you say no. Silence is enough. Just... don’t say anything, please.
That way, I can still remember you beyond this life, even by the River of Forgetfulness."
Brandon was quiet for a long while. Then suddenly, he chuckled.
"That’s actually the first time someone’s ever confessed to me."
Emily blinked. "First time?"
He gave a slight nod. "Guess I’ve always been a bit cold. No one ever dared to say anything. You’re the first. And honestly... it feels kinda nice. So yeah, I accept."
The moment she felt his warm hand wrap around hers, Emily’s cheeks flushed pink.
"Thank you... For comforting me. If this is the end... I’m already happy."
Brandon gave a quiet laugh. "Well, if we really don’t make it today, let’s agree to be a couple in our next life. But if we do make it, then you’ll be my girlfriend for real."
Emily whispered, almost to herself, "Then I really don’t want to die."
That made Brandon laugh. "You’re adorable, you know that? But seriously, we can’t wait around for someone to rescue us. We need to help ourselves. Let’s try to get these ropes off first."
Brandon stayed impressively calm and focused. He only needed a short while to free the ropes around Emily’s wrists.
Emily quickly took off her blindfold, then worked on untying the ropes around her ankles.
Once free, she crawled over, carefully took off Brandon’s blindfold, and undid the knots on his wrists and ankles.
She reached out to help him up, but instead, he pulled her straight into his arms. The dim light hid most of the girl’s face, but her eyes were lit up, almost like they had stars in them.
Brandon gently tilted her chin up and kissed those soft, pale pink lips he remembered so well. Just as he’d imagined—soft and warm.
He chuckled, "Well, if this ends badly, at least our first kiss wasn’t wasted."
Emily grinned and teased, "If getting kidnapped gets me a boyfriend, I kinda wish it happened sooner."
Brandon gave a low laugh and stood up, pulling her to her feet too.
They crouched behind the door, waiting for someone to check on them so they could make a move.
Meanwhile, a black Range Rover pulled up to an abandoned furniture plant in Binford. Two men were on guard outside.
Seeing the car, they approached. "So, did you bring the girl back or not?"
Connor stepped out, lit a cigarette, his tone cold. "Yeah, she’s here."
"Nice! Bet she’s a looker, huh?"
Connor cursed under his breath, "She’s not alone now. Don’t try anything stupid."
One of the men sneered, "All the better, never had a double before. First time for everything, right?"
The other added, grinning, "Maybe the baby in her belly can help figure out who’s the real dad!"
In the backseat, Tristan’s eyes flared with rage, filled with a deadly chill. If he’d been even one minute late, Megan could’ve...
Megan reached over, clutching his hand. "Don’t do anything rash. Not worth getting your hands dirty for scum like them."
Nova Tech muttered, "Easy fix—just make ’em eunuchs. I remember Little Fairy always liked watching the jello pop!"
Megan gave Nova a light bop. "Where do you come up with this stuff? Do I look that evil?"
"I messed up, Little Fairy," Nova whimpered.
A sly smile tugged at Megan’s lips. "Good. Then you go handle it."
"...What?!"
Connor blew out a puff of smoke and laughed coldly. "Any clue who knocked her up?"
"Nope, who?"
He said coolly, "Tristan."
"No way! You serious?!"
"Damn, you really brought back his woman, huh?"
As the men swaggered toward the car and opened the door, Megan greeted them with a calm, sweet smile.
"Hey there. You two in such a hurry to die?"
One of them laughed, "Hot damn, she’s stunning—and feisty too!"
By now, Tristan was done playing nice, eyes locked on them like a predator ready to pounce.
Megan raised an eyebrow playfully. "Wanna find out just how fiery I can get?"
Nova leapt from behind her with a shout, his blue laser aimed right at the men’s crotches. "Laser BOMB!"
Two beams of blue light shot out, searing through their pants—and any future plans of fatherhood.
"Nova, what do we do about that trash they just spewed?"
Nova giggled darkly, "Easy. Permanent lip tattoo!"
Not long after, the men’s mouths were marked with black ink lines.
Connor came over and shot them both cleanly, the silencer keeping the noise down.
He turned to Tristan, eyes sharp. "Ten guards left inside. I’ll scout ahead, you follow."
Tristan brushed Megan’s hair back and kissed her forehead lightly. "Stay here and be good. I’ll bring both of them back safe. Oliver and Samuel are on their way too. Don’t worry, I’ll be careful. We’re in this as a family."
Megan nodded silently.
Tristan moved the car to a better spot, then got out and headed after Connor without looking back.
