The Happy Farmer Wanderer-Chapter 287 Heart-to-Heart Talk_1
Li Qing and Tian Yue’e escorted Yu Lan to her home nearby before heading back.
"Qingzi, you’re really something, huh? When did you start messing around with Auntie Yu Lan?" Tian Yue’e asked, clearly annoyed.
The real inquisition had begun.
"It was just a twist of fate. Right after Hu Youyu got locked up, I visited Xiao Wei a few times, and one thing led to another..." Li Qing touched the tip of his nose, casually making up an excuse.
What’s done is done anyway.
Tian Yue’e pinched Li Qing’s waist fiercely, "You sure have a talent for flirting around."
"Hiss..."
Li Qing took a sharp breath and quickly begged for mercy, "Gentle, gentle."
"Auntie Yu Lan is a hard-luck woman, you better not just be playing around with her. Even if you can’t knock this wall down, you should at least treat her better," Tian Yue’e scolded with a stern face. "Do you think I would have bothered so much tonight if it weren’t for Auntie Yu Lan? I’m nearly dying of anger because of you. Having me and your sister-in-law isn’t enough, you even got yourself a mistress."
Li Qing just nodded silently, like a silly goose, leaving himself open to be hit or scolded.
A reckoning after the fact; no talking back now.
If it hadn’t been for Tian Yue’e’s open-mindedness and generosity tonight, things would surely have turned out differently.
"Yue’er, you’re the best!" Seeing that Tian Yue’e had finally stopped talking, Li Qing took her hand, pulled her into his embrace, and bent down to kiss her still-resentful, flaming red lips.
"Mmm... mmm..."
Tian Yue’e seemed to be saying something, but her mouth was sealed by Li Qing’s, producing only muffled sounds.
The night breeze blew gently, and under the quiet night sky, the chirping of insects and croaking of frogs merged into one.
"I haven’t eaten my fill yet!" Tian Yue’e said indignantly, looking at Li Qing.
"I’ll risk my life today to fill you up, my treasure!" Li Qing declared, puffing out his chest.
Tian Yue’e looked around, then braced her hands against a tree in front of her and pushed up her pert backside.
Li Qing got the hint, dropped his trousers, and got straight to it!
In the silent night, the moans of ecstasy floated down the peaceful country lane.
Half an hour later, the battle ended.
Li Qing thought that Tian Yue’e would go back, but she didn’t.
Instead, she followed Li Qing home.
And then... they did it again.
Li Qing felt he was truly at his limit, and Tian Yue’e was swollen.
"Let’s keep this from your sister-in-law for now. We’ll take it slow, I’ll gauge her mood before we decide!" Tian Yue’e lay in Li Qing’s arms, glowered at him, "You’re such an enemy of mine, how did I ever fall into your hands."
"Is it really that bad?" Li Qing asked with a smile.
"Bad my ass, you’ve got a big appendage, you’re good-looking, you know how to be tender to a woman, hard-working, willing to spend money on a woman..." Tian Yue’e started listing but couldn’t finish her sentence, "Never mind, you actually are pretty great, just a philandering rogue!"
Li Qing couldn’t help but laugh.
He himself hadn’t even realized that he had so many merits.
"I will love you properly, and I’ll definitely give you an outcome," Li Qing said earnestly.
He had repeated that line many times tonight.
He didn’t know what else to promise, but it was indeed what he wanted in his heart.
"Alright, I believe you," Tian Yue’e said with a light laugh. "If it comes to that, we can live without any formal status, in a place where no one knows us. I think that’s the only outcome you could come up with."
"But I think that’s pretty good, what a big family, haha."
Li Qing felt ashamed.
"I really did think that..." Li Qing said weakly, "For now, that’s all I can think of."
"But in the future, it must be certain. I remember some tycoon had several wives; if I work hard and become a tycoon too, I’m sure there will be a better solution."
Tian Yue’e couldn’t help but chuckle at this, "Then I think my idea is a bit more reliable."
That night, Li Qing and Tian Yue’e talked until late.
They spoke of all things under heaven, discussed emotions, and wandered from topic to topic talking about men and women.
Both of them opened their hearts, and after physically getting closer three times, they also had a good spiritual connection.
It wasn’t until after three in the morning that Li Qing escorted Tian Yue’e back.
He actually didn’t really want Tian Yue’e to go back; sleeping in his arms felt truly wonderful.
But Tian Yue’e’s sister had come back, and it would be hard to explain in the morning if she didn’t return.
After Li Qing came back, he was still in a daze.
Everything that happened tonight felt like a dream.
He hadn’t anticipated things would go this far.
With his mind filled with thoughts, Li Qing drifted off to sleep in a daze.
In the morning, just as he was enjoying a comfortable sleep, he was dragged out of bed by Han Mei.
"What time is it, and you’re still sleeping? Get up quickly!"
Li Qing was groggy for a while before he sluggishly picked up his phone to check the time.
Oh boy, it was ten o’clock.
Li Qing quickly got out of bed and washed up.
"What were you doing last night? How come you’re getting up so late? I thought you’d gone to the mountains already." Han Mei was sweeping the yard and didn’t even turn around to ask.
"Having been outside for half a month, I’ve missed this bed of mine terribly. I accidentally overslept." Li Qing bluffed a response.
"Oversleeping is oversleeping; why make so many excuses? Hurry up and get ready." Han Mei chided, "I called Gao Li. He’s already gone up the mountain to collect. You don’t need to go."
"Go out with Wu Xingxing later, to relax after being so busy these past few days."
Li Qing shook his head repeatedly, refusing, "Sister-in-law, I’ve still got a pile of things to do; I don’t need to relax."
"You might not need it, but Xingxing does. It’s hard for a young girl to be tending the shop every day. You should take her out." Han Mei said unequivocally, "Just go to Gunlong Mountain. The scenery is nice there, and there’s also a lake. Have fun."
Li Qing realized that Han Mei was clearly trying to create an opportunity for him and Wu Xingxing.
She really was determined!
"Sister-in-law, didn’t you say to let us make contact on our own? Why are you doing this again..." Li Qing muttered.
"I am letting you make contact on your own. There’s no force!" Han Mei said with a smile, leaning on her broom as she looked at Li Qing, "If you don’t go, I won’t help you in the future. You decide."
"Also, I will keep an eye on Tian Yue’e and won’t give you two the chance to meet in private."
Li Qing: ...
He ran his hands through his hair, saying helplessly, "Sister-in-law, that’s a bit too harsh."
"Go quickly. I’ve already talked to Xingxing. You find her at the convenience store later," Han Mei said.
With no other choice, Li Qing agreed.
When Han Mei made a stern promise, it usually came true.
Even if it might only be for a while, she would really do it.
