"Qingzi, I’ve settled today’s work payments with Director Tang and Gao Li," Han Mei said as she cut a piece of watermelon for Li Qing. So I counted one mu of land as two, considering you’re now contracting so much land and will definitely need their help often."

Li Qing nodded.

Having such a meticulous sister-in-law by his side was truly a blessing.

There were many things he no longer needed to worry about.

Han Mei stopped Tian Yue’e, "No need, I’ll just stir-fry a couple of simple dishes, you two just rest."

"Oh my, thanks sister-in-law, let me be lazy for a bit too," Tian Yue’e said with a giggle, cupping Han Mei’s cheeks and giving them a squeeze.

"Stop it!" Han Mei’s face reddened slightly as she playfully scolded and went to the kitchen.

Li Qing brought his face close to Tian Yue’e’s, "I want one too."

"Cut it out." Tian Yue’e quickly glanced at the kitchen, then quickly pecked Li Qing on the cheek.

Li Qing laughed contentedly.

The scene really did resemble a family of three.

"By the way, did you say something to Teacher Guan?" Tian Yue’e suddenly whispered.

"What?" Li Qing asked, puzzled.

Guan Lin had watched their videos several times; she knew much more than just the affair between the two of them.

"She probably hasn’t found out. Do you want to test her and admit it straight out?" Li Qing suggested.

"Even though I’m unmarried and you’re a bachelor, admitting it wouldn’t do us any good, given my reputation," Tian Yue’e shook her head.

"They’ll say I got together with a gigolo, and they’ll probably think I’m a flirt too, seeing that I’m doing well and immediately getting involved with you. Better not."
