The Greatest Village Doctor In The World-Chapter 2090 - 2089: Exploration
Upon hearing Ling Feng’s words, Gu Li shook his head: "Boss, that’s not what I meant!"
"What do you mean?"
Ling Feng looked at him and asked.
"Whether the Predator is good or evil doesn’t mean much to us; they haven’t infringed on our interests!" Gu Li said.
"And then? Do you expect me to get along peacefully with them?" Ling Feng asked.
"As long as there’s profit, cooperation isn’t a problem!"
Gu Li smiled and continued: "The Giant Dragon and the Predator are archenemies; that’s their conflict. We’re outsiders seeking resources. As long as they can provide us resources, why kill off one side completely?"
"Your thinking is quite like the Americans!"
Ling Feng looked at him, then laughed: "But this idea does suit my taste!"
"We’re not like Americans; they resort to any means for resources and profit, while we don’t indiscriminately kill the innocent!" Gu Li said with a smile.
"Better understand the situation first; if the Predator is indeed very detestable, I wouldn’t mind unleashing a massacre!"
Ling Feng chuckled and stood up, saying: "It’s been a bit of a long fuss this time. I’m going to rest in the Nine Heavens for a day or two before going to that space!"
After saying this, he left Gu Li’s office.
After being away for a long time, Ling Feng misses his children. It’s a common ailment for every man who has become a father.
So, after returning to the Nine Heavens, he spent two days there with his pair of children.
Once rested enough, Ling Feng went to find Yao, and together they teleported via the Dragon Origin Stone to that space area.
Upon arrival, glancing around the environment, Yao turned to Ling Feng and said: "This place is too vast; even with your Ghost Dragon, it would take a long time to understand the entire environment, right?"
"Last time, I was busy resolving the Giant Dragon issue, and didn’t take a close look. I don’t even know how big this place is yet!" Ling Feng said.
"Let’s first determine if this place is a space fragment or a complete planet!" Yao proposed.
"Alright!"
Ling Feng had no objections and summoned the Ghost Dragon.
Unexpectedly, the Ghost Dragon had changed its appearance after a few days of not seeing it!
Seeing its more than doubled body size, Ling Feng exclaimed in shock: "No way! How did it change like this?"
"Absorbing the energy from the Spirit Stone, it’s not surprising it transformed!"
Yao said, jumping onto the Ghost Dragon’s back.
Ling Feng followed closely behind, and upon climbing up, felt that the Ghost Dragon’s back could host a football match!
Unable to help but laugh, he remarked: "Wow, being this huge, its attack power must be very impressive!"
"Naturally!"
Yao nodded.
The Ghost Dragon soared elegantly, first flying towards the Americans’ base!
Once nearby, Ling Feng scanned the area with his Divine Sense, discovering numerous equipment delivered by heavy trucks.
Seeing the bustle at the base, Ling Feng said with a laugh: "The Americans are rushing, expanding their camp quickly. I believe their weaponry setup will be complete soon."
"If you don’t like it, I can help you clear them out!" Yao offered.
"No, let them be!"
Ling Feng chuckled and continued: "I’ve already negotiated with them; everyone can establish here without interfering with each other’s development."
"They certainly can’t compare to you!"
Yao said earnestly.
"Haha, I think so too!"
Ling Feng laughed, commanding the Ghost Dragon to fly southward.
During the flight, his Divine Sense continuously scanned the forests and lands below, not wanting to miss anything.
Two hours later, the forest gave way to the edge, revealing a vast desert ahead.
Although called a desert, it wasn’t completely devoid of vegetation; some seemingly lifeless shrubs grew in the rock crevices.
Finally, Ling Feng saw animals!
Before, besides some insects and aggressive plants, no animals were visible in the forest.
Later, Ling Feng realized that the absence of animals in the forest was due to the overwhelming presence of Giant Dragons, which frightened the smaller creatures into being unable to survive there!
On this desert expanse, Ling Feng observed various beasts of all sizes.
These animals weren’t much different from those on Earth, each having its own lifestyle, seemingly living quite comfortably in the desert.
Ling Feng had no interest in these animals and didn’t let the Ghost Dragon lower its altitude.
Continuing southward, unknowingly, more than four hours had passed since they arrived.
Their flight covered over three thousand kilometers.
Yet, ahead remained an unending desert.
Yao had remained silent the whole time, seated on the Ghost Dragon’s back, examining a tablet-like device in her hands.
Ling Feng didn’t disturb her, and both focused on their tasks.
Another two hours passed, and the visibility began to gradually decrease.
Looking up, the sun in the sky was veering off course, recalling his deduction with Amaterasu; Ling Feng reckoned they might be nearing the transition between light and dark zones.
Indeed, as the light continued to dim, Ling Feng watched the sun further drift, with the Ghost Dragon nearing the dark zone.
Turning to Yao, Ling Feng shared his previous assessment.
"Your guess was correct. With the Ghost Dragon’s flying speed, if on Earth, it could continuously chase the sunlit areas. But now entering darkness indicates this area doesn’t rotate!"
Yao nodded and continued: "Temperatures might drop afterwards; prepare yourself mentally!"
"After flying for so long, let the Ghost Dragon rest for a while."
Ling Feng intended to command the Ghost Dragon to land, but unexpectedly, Tian Lian interjected: "Master, the Ghost Dragon is fine. It can continue flying for another ten-plus hours, crossing this dark region without issue!"
"Really?"
Ling Feng was surprised but realized it was due to enhanced abilities, so he nodded: "Then let’s keep it going a bit longer!"
The Ghost Dragon’s form quickly entered the darkness, and Ling Feng distinctly felt the temperature drop, by at least a dozen degrees compared to sunlit areas!
Turning to Yao, seeing her sitting still, Ling Feng asked: "How do you feel? Cold?"
"It’s alright, not too cold, but as we go deeper, temperatures will significantly drop; better prepare for the chill." Yao advised.
"Alright!"
Ling Feng nodded and promptly retrieved a tent from his Space Bracelet.
However, during high-speed flight, wind blocking became a problem!
