Back on Lingyun Island, Ling Feng checked the time. There were still a few hours left before the agreed time with those who invaded Shallow Blue Star. Ling Feng thought for a moment and decided to take out the Star Chain.

If the other side was sincere, they would have left by now.

Ling Feng recalled what Dick had said earlier and looked at Xing Can, "Weren’t they supposed to be incredibly greedy? How could they just leave like that?"

"I don’t know about that, but their soldiers have boarded the spacecraft, and it’s already up in the sky." Xing Can replied.

"Alright, I’ll go take a look!"

Ling Feng nodded and walked out of the palace to the plaza outside.

Looking up, the gigantic spacecraft that once hovered in the sky was now gone, reduced to a black dot, most likely tens of kilometers high.

Seeing this, Ling Feng was convinced the invaders had indeed left.

At the same time, he was puzzled, as this outcome was completely different from what Dick had said!

Could it be that they were truly afraid of him?

With this in mind, Ling Feng hurriedly asked, "What about the children they captured? Have they all been released?"

"They did release them, but each child had something installed on them, and we don’t know what it’s for!"

Xing He said, then turned his head and looked around. His men immediately brought a child over.

Ling Feng looked at the child, noticing that something was strapped to the child’s ankle, with a red light flashing in a steady rhythm.

This device resembled an electronic shackle, making Ling Feng frown!

It confirmed his suspicion further; the invaders didn’t plan to leave but wanted to see if, after ascending high into the sky, Ling Feng could still deal with them!

If not, these guys might continue to invade Shallow Blue Star!

Ling Feng squinted his eyes and said in a low voice, "Trying to play games with me? Let me show you what I’ve got!"

Without notifying Xing He, Ling Feng directly summoned the Ghost Dragon, startling the surrounding crowd, almost causing them to sit on the ground.

Ling Feng said, then rode the Ghost Dragon back to the Imperial City and activated the Star Chain, swiftly returning to Lingyun Island.

Upon returning, Ling Feng immediately sought Gu Li and told him the situation.

Gu Li pondered it for a moment, "Boss, they’re engaging in guerrilla tactics against you!"

"Indeed, they’re taking advantage of Shallow Blue Star not having reached the space era. Once they’re in space, not even I can handle them!" Ling Feng said.

"No worries, Shallow Blue Star might not have the means, but we do!"

Gu Li smiled and continued, "Boss, it’s not very cost-effective to use our rockets. I suggest you find Old Han and see if you can purchase some intercontinental ballistic missiles!"
