The Grants: Choosing One Between The Two-Chapter 190: Have All Three Sterling Brothers Fallen for Yvette Aston?
By the sea rocks.
Claire Linden stood at the edge, feeling the sea breeze.
Over twenty years have passed, but where is her daughter?
All these years, she has really put in a lot of effort to find her daughter.
And she’s encountered so many swindlers.
Hope rekindled time and again, only to be extinguished.
"Mom!"
Harrison Sterling rushed over, nervously pulling Claire to the side. "What are you doing standing here? It’s dangerous."
Claire glanced at Harrison and smiled. "Are you all afraid I’ll jump?"
The woman was already in her fifties. Her naturally aging face didn’t seem incongruous; instead, it exuded a gentle aura.
The way it’s supposed to look at that age.
"No..." Harrison quickly responded, fearing he might upset his mother.
"Mom, don’t do anything silly. We’re here to attend Uncle Morgan’s daughter’s wedding," Sean Sterling sighed in relief.
"I won’t do anything silly. I still haven’t found my daughter..." Claire said regretfully.
"You’ll find her, you definitely will." Aron Sterling comforted his mother.
"Alright, alright, Baron..." Claire nodded with a smile and turned to see Yvette Aston walking over, holding Baron.
Words stuck in her throat as Claire stared at Yvette. "Girl..."
"Girl, how old are you?" Claire hurried over, anxiously holding Yvette’s arm.
"What’s your name? Are your parents alive?" Claire asked nervously. "You look like my long-lost daughter."
"..." Yvette was dumbstruck and looked fearfully at Ethan Grant.
What is with the Sterling Family...
The little one mistakenly identifying his mom, and now the madam is mistaking her for a daughter?
"Ma’am, I’m Ethan, from the Grant Family, you’ve met me before." Ethan Grant smiled at Claire. "This is my wife, Yvette Aston."
"Mom, you’re being forgetful again, asking someone because they look pleasing," Harrison sighed.
Aron also realized it and rushed forward to hold Baron. "Sorry, really sorry, this is my son. Thank you so much, if it weren’t for you, something might have happened to Baron."
Aron, who had a somewhat flamboyant personality, wanted to hug Baron.
But Baron ignored Aron, crying and clinging to Yvette. "Mom, I want mom."
"..." Aron was taken aback. "I’m sorry, I’ve never seen the little guy act like this before."
After speaking, he began to coax. "Baron, come home with dad, Auntie must be tired holding you."
Baron didn’t respond to Aron, clinging to Yvette. "I want to stay with mom."
Not only was Baron clinging to Yvette, but Mrs. Sterling was also looking at Yvette fervently, almost wishing she could claim her as her daughter immediately.
Yvette was a little flustered, looking for help from Ethan Grant.
"Little one, she’s not your mom." Ethan reached out, intending to pick up Baron.
Baron, surprisingly strong, held onto Yvette and cried loudly.
Yvette couldn’t bear to hear a child cry like that, quickly comforting him. "There, there, don’t cry."
Aron was stunned.
His son was supposedly left at his doorstep by some ex-girlfriend or a one-night stand. Ever since picking up the little guy and raising him, he’s been pampered by the Sterlings.
The little guy who never bothered with strangers, now he’s unwilling to let go of Yvette.
"Baron, you listen to me and come down." Harrison reprimanded sternly.
Baron ignored his big uncle completely. "No, I want mom."
"..." Harrison had no authority in front of children.
"Baron, wouldn’t it be nice if Uncle Sean held you?" Sean smiled while coaxing.
"No." Baron refused as well.
"What a great girl, Baron likes her, I like her too." Claire looked eagerly at Yvette, stepping forward to inquire further. "How old are you? Are you married? Look, I have three sons, which one do you like? Marry into our family."
"..." Ethan Grant was completely ignored.
Harrison scoffed, unusually not rebutting.
Obviously already having a good impression of Yvette, but too proud to know how to express gratitude.
Sean began to complain. "Mom, my brother was mean to Yvette before, not treating her nicely. If someone should be picked, it should be me. I’m single and have a good reputation."
Sean prided himself as the perfect character in the Sterling Family.
"He goes about aimlessly." Harrison unceremoniously exposed his brother.
"Since Baron likes you so much, it must be fate, beauty let’s get to know each other!" Aron excitedly approached, like a peacock displaying its feathers.
"He already has an illegitimate child, a line of ex-girlfriends," Harrison continued to expose in a sarcastic tone.
Next to them, it seemed as if none of them noticed Ethan’s face darkening.
He thought he should tether Yvette tightly; otherwise, she’d eventually be taken away.
"Yvette, my eldest son is mature and stable; you should consider him." Claire’s eyes sparkled, holding Yvette’s hand.
Ethan Grant took a deep breath, but despite being angry, he also paused for a long time when he noticed Mrs. Sterling’s eyes.
Mrs. Sterling’s eyes were very much like Yvette’s.
If he didn’t already know Yvette was The Summers Family’s daughter, he might have really started to doubt.
"Mom, my brother is full of himself; he’ll scare her away," Sean continued to expose Harrison.
Harrison snorted, not saying a word.
Yvette was surrounded by the Sterlings, her palms were sweating from nervousness.
It seemed that Baron sensed Yvette’s fear and spoke up angrily. "You all stay away from my mom; you’ll scare her away."
"Little one, she’s mine." Ethan couldn’t wait to declare his sovereignty.
"Have you registered?" Harrison coldly laughed and asked defiantly.
"We have..." Ethan wanted to fling a marriage certificate in his face.
"Sorry, ma’am, Mr. Grant and I are in a stable relationship." Yvette quickly interrupted Ethan, really fearful he’d say those three words.
Not to mention they had a secret marriage with a confidentiality agreement. Letting the outside world know that Ethan Grant married her would be madness.
Ethan Grant’s current situation couldn’t afford any mistakes.
"Mr. Grant, I fell in love with Yvette at first sight. Let’s compete fairly." Sean’s personality is more straightforward.
"Beauty, let’s have a quick wedding, love after marriage, you’ll definitely love me." Aron continued to flaunt.
Ethan gritted his teeth and poked the little one. "You, come down."
Baron snorted. "No."
Ethan was really pissed off now.
This little guy.
Ethan deeply regretted not bringing Summers. He should’ve brought Summers to handle him.
Imagine competing for mom with their Summers.
"Ethan, I’m so sorry. Baron never acted this way before; maybe he, like me, just really likes Yvette. You came for Isaac Morgan’s daughter’s wedding too, didn’t you?" Claire finally noticed Ethan.
Ethan smirked, but his eyes didn’t reflect his smile. "Yes, Ma’am."
"Ethan, you’re fortunate to have found such a good girlfriend," Claire reluctantly, but kindly, placated Baron. "Baron, let grandma hold you; let mom go change her clothes or she’ll catch a cold."
Only then did Baron let go of Yvette. "Mom, come get Baron after you change your clothes, okay?"
Yvette’s heart tightened; the child longed for a mother.
His eyes were so much like Summers’s.
"Okay..." Somehow, Yvette agreed. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
Ethan seized the opportunity to pick up the little guy and tossed him into Aron’s arms, pulling Yvette away.
Not wanting to stay a moment longer.
As if delaying any longer would mean his wife would be taken away.
"Mr. Grant, your back injury..." Yvette’s eyes reddened, feeling a bit sorry for Ethan.
"Needs compensation." Ethan’s lips curved upwards, directly carrying Yvette horizontally into his arms, heading toward the hotel.
Yvette nervously shrank against Ethan’s shoulder, knowing he was doing it on purpose...
Doing it on purpose for the Sterlings to see.
"How... how to compensate." Yvette stammered.
"I, want, to, sleep, with, you."
"..." Yvette’s face turned bright red in an instant.
She understood, it was a verb.
