The Grand Duke's Son Is A Heretic-Chapter 210
BOOOOM!
Kael's body slammed into the ground like a meteor, shaking the earth and smashing through the floor of the house. The impact blasted a massive crater through the stone and wood, shattering everything in its radius.
Walls caved in, furniture exploded into splinters, and dust swirled into the air in thick clouds. A wave of debris erupted outward, breaking windows and throwing spectators off their feet. ƒrēenovelkiss.com
Screams and gasps echoed from the gathered crowd. People stood wide-eyed, frozen in place, some hiding behind broken walls, others peeking from behind boulders and shattered columns.
"D-Did he just fall from the second floor!?" one man stammered.
"No way he survived that!" a woman cried.
"That guy... He's a monster!"
Jax landed beside the ruined crater, chuckling with delight, his coat flapping behind him in the gust of wind caused by the impact. "HAHAHAH!"
"With this, we've earned a good fortune!" he said, licking his lips. "Now we can divide it."
Gorro, Marn, and Vernod exchanged glances. Suspicion lingered in their eyes, each reading the others' thoughts.
Seeing their hesitation, Jax curled his lips into a sneer. "Still cautious, huh?"
He scoffed. "Fine. I'll take all the spoils then, kekeke!"
Laughing like a madman, Jax leapt toward the crater. But just as he peeked over the edge, a flash of crimson light erupted.
FSSHHH!
A beam-like sword arc tore through the air like lightning, splitting the sky.
"FUCKKKKK!" Jax howled, throwing his body back.
The beam shot past his nose, slicing a clean line across the sky above. Its heat seared the air, leaving behind a trail of distorted space. Trees in the beam's path were split in two, their trunks scorched black. The ground cracked open beneath the arc, steam rising as the raw energy dissipated into the clouds.
Jax rolled backward, his heart pounding, sweat dripping from his brow. He turned with wild eyes to the crater.
From within, something stirred. The ground trembled…
Then—a blur!
Kael's body shot out of the hole like a cannonball. He spun mid-air, flipping once, twice, then landed on both feet with a loud CRACK, causing more tiles to shatter under the force.
His face was a mess of blood and dust, but his smile stretched from ear to ear.
"Kekekekek!"
His eyes gleamed with madness. "It's been a long time since someone pushed me like this."
He looked down, panting slightly. "Haa... It's okay. I still have some cards."
Kael kicked at a piece of debris. A long steel pipe shot into the air from the pile of rubble.
Vernod's eyes widened. "ATTACK HIM!"
But he hadn't even finished the command.
BOOOOM!
Gorro and Marn burst forward, fists drawn, muscles bulging, eyes locked on Kael.
BOOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOOOM!
Their punches came down like war hammers. Each strike blasted the ground, sending quakes through the floor.
Cracks spiderwebbed outward, swallowing whole parts of the floor. Shards of stone and tile danced in the air. Trees nearby bent from the shockwaves. One punch left a crater. The next ripped apart a column. The third blasted a path straight through a wall.
Yet Kael was no longer there.
"Damn!" Gorro growled, scanning the smoke.
"It was a feint!"
"He's fast!" Marn spat.
SWISH!
Before the dust could settle, a massive crimson sword arc roared through the smoke, tearing it apart like cloth. It screeched through the air, aimed straight at them.
Gorro and Marn's pupils shrank.
They threw up their fists and punched it.
BOOMMMM!!!
The explosion of force created a whirlwind. Crimson energy clashed with raw brute strength. Sparks flew in every direction. Dust clouds blew apart, revealing swirling debris and torn chunks of stone. The ground beneath cracked further, and the sheer heat from the arc scorched the nearby trees, setting dry leaves ablaze.
Out of the lingering smoke, Kael emerged.
His body twisted as he moved with a fluid madness. One sword was clenched between his teeth, blood dripping from the edge. In his hands was the steel pipe, glowing faintly from his aura.
He raised the pipe to eye level.
With only his thumb and index finger, he pinched the end, and his aura surged. Like an invisible blade, the energy compressed down and cut across the pipe. Sparks flew as the metal reshaped under sheer pressure. Within seconds, he had forged a jagged, wicked blade from it.
Kael grabbed the new blade with his left hand, then pulled the sword from his mouth into his right.
As soon as he did, the air stilled.
The world around them went quiet.
Even the rustling trees and crackling fire seemed to pause.
A crimson hue began spreading through the area like a thick mist. The sky darkened unnaturally. The very atmosphere warped. Blood-red energy flowed like liquid around Kael's feet, pooling beneath him like an aura of death.
Gorro and Marn faltered, instincts screaming.
Their eyes widened, their bodies froze for a split second.
They turned toward Vernod and Jax, whose faces were grim. Both of them clenched their jaws tightly, eyes locked on Kael, expressions hardened.
Kael stood tall, his figure drenched in blood and dust, a twisted grin pulling across his face. He cackled loudly.
"You should feel proud," he said, his voice low and cruel.
"Not many can force me to use dual swordsmanship."
His fingers twitched on the hilts.
"You're not strong enough individually, but together... you possess some power."
He crossed both blades in front of him.
And in that moment..His entire demnear changed. He looked more sharply and deadly
BOOOOOOOM!!!
Crimson light exploded around him. The murderous intent from his past life, memories of blood, battle, betrayal—it all erupted like a volcano. The air howled. Trees bent backward. Ground split open. Wind howled as if screaming in fear.
His aura turned into a storm of rage, sorrow, and insanity.
Kael stood in the center, eyes glowing red, laughter echoing like a madman unleashed from hell.
He looked more demon than man.
And everyone watching knew—
The real battle had just begun.
