The Golem Mage-Chapter 443: The Undead Knights (2).
Knight made sure that he would appear next to Alec as soon as he realized he was free from the dreaded Bone claw.
He was overwhelmed with happiness, and words couldn't express how he felt as he escaped death, tears and laughter mingled together as Knight's emotions overflowed.
"Someone, undo the restrictions spell on this idiot!" Alec commanded, his attention still focused on the ongoing battles before them.
The fight between Lucas and the Tier 4 Ghouls appeared to be reaching its conclusion, despite sustaining a few wounds, Lucas proved himself to be a formidable opponent in one-on-one combat, one not to be underestimated.
As he had managed to break the Ghoul's strong jaws, cleaving one of its hands off, and coming close to killing it twice, only for the Ghoul to escape due to the intervention of the Lich sneak attack support spells.
Although the Ghoul possessed incredibly fast regeneration powers, but it was acquiring new injuries faster than its body could heal, with all this Alec decided that the battle was close to ending.
As he shifted his gaze to the second battlefield, only to discover something unusual, the Bone Knight, previously encased in ice, had transformed into one of the normal skeletons it had raised, and Alec felt a sense of unease, as he saw the bone knight moving stealthy towards pale.
"Create another shadow portal quickly! Make sure I have a clear shot at the Bone Knight, aiming for Pale," Alec instructed, and the woman with the fringe casted another shadow portal.
--
Near Pale, a loud bang echoed, causing him to turn around, to his astonishment, the bone knight he had believed to be killed by the Ice Explosion stood behind him, its shattered skull once again on display.
And that's when he realized that one of the skeletons summoned by the Bone Knight had risen, taking on the appearance of the Bone Knight itself, Its body transformed, enlarged with his bone armor and sword materialized around it.

"Another un-killable roach," Pale muttered, tearing a small part of his robe to wrap around his injured right hand and iced the injury to slow down the bleeding.
He knew Alec had just saved him, but his pride prevented him from expressing gratitude in the conventional way.
Since the Bone Knight's ability to transfer its death to another of it summoned skeleton had been exposed, it no longer bothered to conceal itself.
As the skeletons that had been pretending to be dead all rose and brandished their swords.
Pale mentally counted and confirmed that only thirteen of them had been resurrected, indicating that two had been swapped for the times him and Alec had successfully killed the Bone Knight.
"And here I was thinking you were some kind of un-killable monster, but it seems all I have to do is kill you thirteen more times to ensure you stay buried where you belong!" Pale quipped.
As he created two small Ice blades and lunged at the Bone Knight, the moment he went for the Bone knight he was joined by the rest of Lucas's team, all of them with the intention of eliminating the Bone Knight's summons.
They believed that if all the summons were destroyed, the Bone Knight would be unable to escape another death, by swapping place with a summon, and Alec felt that battlefield is concluded also.
As Alec shifted his attention to the last battlefield, he witnessed Beatrice's two puppets were facing off against the skeletal knight and a small part of his skeletal legion.
And with the support of a portion from student army, led by Brandon, Arthur and Edgar, they had successfully regained control of that battlefield and suppressed the evolved-looking skeletons along with the Sweden city guards.
"Now I have everything under control, all I need to do is ensure the Lich doesn't make any unexpected moves!"
Alec declared confidently, his attention fixed on all the three battlefield he had purposely divided with Tactics, however, he momentarily forgot that the Lich was the most crucial figure to watch closely.
That's when he heard the sound of a staff hitting the ground, In fact, every mage on the battlefield heard it, as if it had been done deliberately, it was as if the Lich was sending a coded message to the other side as the staff sounded like a beating drum.
Suddenly, the space gate behind the Lich started swirling rapidly again.
"No! They told me there are only three waves during every blood moon in this city, he's only supposed to summon three waves of attacks, why does it look like he can conjure another set of monsters?" Alec muttered to himself, his frustration apparent.
He had meticulously planned how to counter the undead hordes, gathering information on their tactics and running patterns.
Though the city had faced various types of undead races, he had never encountered a mention of a fourth wave of attack, this marked the first time this was happening.
The sound of another horse's neigh reached his ears, unlike the usual undead flames, this horse appeared to be engulfed in burning red flames. Its rider, a headless knight, held its severed head in its other hand.
"Dullahan!" Alec whispered.
He didn't need to activate his special analysis skill to recognize the headless horseman. And he wasn't alone; beside him was a ghostly creature, almost elusive but somehow still present.
And behind them was yet another army, a fresh army of Ghouls. This time, it was led by approximately two Tier 4 Ghouls. On the wraith side, there were different types of zombies following behind.
Amongst them were a couple of mutant zombies, but what really caught the eye were the two Tier 4 mutated zombies leading the pack.
Now, Alec could no longer avoid joining the battle, as he kicked the side of his horse, directing it forward.
"I don't care about your previous actions or the missions you've been on," Alec stated firmly.
"What matters now is that if we don't make it out of here, we'll be killed, so, I urge all of you to use your full strength. It's the only way to bring an end to this battle in time."
"I'll go after the Lich and it's two new summons," Alec continued.
"Just make sure you all stay alive, that's the most important thing, that's our top priority." Alec finished his speech, a determined look on his face, and focused his gaze ahead.
He noticed that the Dullahan had dispatched his Ghoul army to hunt down the city guards.
A smile spread across Alec's face.
"So much experience points in one place, i might lose my mind from all the killing today, too bad I can't save everyone today " he said.
With that, he kicked his mount, urging it to increase its pace.
The rest of the student army followed closely behind.
At this moment, Alec had already summoned all his golems, and even they had summoned their minions.
Together, they charged towards the approaching Ghouls, who had redirected their path towards them. Alec raised his hand, commanding countless huge rocks to shoot up into the sky using his gravity manipulation before dragging them down with force.
As the boulders descended, their rapid speed created fiery sparks that engulfed them, as they swiftly ploughed through the front line of Ghouls, as even before Alec engaged in battle with them, he was taking lives in the process.
The notifications for each kill Alec achieved were flooding in so relentlessly that he decided to mute his system once again, as he swept his hands once again going for another round.
