THE GOD EATER-Chapter 262: Final State.

Loki was able to kill Slav again, so he got another chance to take a divine Metac. This time around, he took the Space Tear Metac. He took this one because it was the last one Slav was using as he tried to cut off the tentacles trying to get him.

After replacing the Sword Heart Metac with the Space Tear Metac, he committed suicide and went back in time to fight Slav again. This time, Slav only awakened the Space Blink Metac, so Loki was able to get it.

But there was a slight difference this time around. When Loki took the Space Blink Metac and tried to place it in the spot where his Telekinesis Metac was, no replacement occurred.

Instead of leaving, the Telekinesis Metac fused with the Space Blink Metac. To be exact, the Space Blink Metac fused with his Life Ability.

This fusion led to the elevation of the Shifting Armor Metac to a Divine Metac. But the changes didn’t end there.

Just after the fusion was completed, he glimpsed something that the Space Blink Metac was connected to. He saw a world hidden in the folds of space.

This world was dazzling and bright to his eyes because it seemed to be constructed with glass and mirrors. All of the glass and mirrors caused light to bounce around too much, and the light bounced in weird ways because of all of the cracks in the world, which dazzled his eyes.

There was an ocean of energy in this dazzling world. The ocean was pouring its energy through the connection between this world and the Space Blink Metac to him.

He also saw a shiny being at the center of this small world. He couldn’t tell the features of this being because they were too bright for him to see. They seem to be made out of bright flame rather than flesh.

The shiny being was also looking at him. But while he was looking with curiosity, the shiny being was looking at him with anger.

The shiny being shouted at him in anger, saying, "You beast."

Then the shiny being rushed at him.

He tried to create distance between them and defend himself. But he realized that he couldn’t move away. No matter how he moved in the physical world, he couldn’t affect the small world, and the distance between him and the shiny being was reduced.

In just a split second, the shiny being crashed into him. The collision wasn’t physical at all. It was as if something had crashed into his mind.

The force of the collision caused his mind to shatter and scatter. So he died.

Fenrir quickly took his consciousness away into the River of Time. But he wasn’t paying attention to this because he was too busy trying to figure out what just happened.

"Is that Slav’s mental world? But it looked like a real world. It felt too real to be something mental."

"And who was that being? Was that Slav? Does that mean he is still alive?"

"Come to think, he is the reincarnation of a divine being, so death isn’t the end for him. With a strong mental world like that, he should have no problem reincarnating. Divine beings truly have it good."

After admiring divine beings for a while, he remembered that he had been able to see that world because the Shifting Armor was connected to the world. So he frowned and said, "What will happen if I maintain the connection with that world after I reverse time? Will that being kill me again?"

This was the question that he had on his mind when he awakened in the physical world. When he didn’t see any world, he sighed in relief. Then he turned to look for Slav.

He found Slav edging away from him towards the door. There was fear on Slav’s face, and it was clear that Slav was scared of him, but Slav wasn’t teleporting around to avoid him.

This made him grin and say, "I wonder what has happened to Slav this time around."

So he used the Power Identification Ability on Slav.

Slav looked like the extraordinary young master that he had been familiar with for most of his life. There were no changes other than the fact that Slav awakened the Fortune Core Metac, which is a Mortal Metac of the Luck Pathway.

This made Loki lose interest in him. After all, even if he killed Slav and took the Fortune Metac from his corpse, Slav would just awaken the same Fortune Metac in the next timeline.

So Loki sighed and said, "I guess that is the end of Slav being a farm for Divine Metacs. It was fun while it lasted."

Slav saw Loki looking over, so he became overwhelmed by fear, which made him stop trying to sneak away.

Then he fell to his knees, bowed his head, and said, "Please forgive me for my mistakes, great one. I didn’t know that you were the reincarnation of a great one. I was blind and failed to see your greatness."

He was afraid that Loki would seek revenge on him for enslaving Loki, but Loki didn’t care about that anymore. What he cared about now was what he should do with his new Divine Metacs and how to grow stronger.

He ignored Slav and instead said to Muni, "I want to leave."

Muni immediately bowed and said, "Certainly. You can leave anytime you want."

Muni forgot about the initiates and began to tend to Loki with all of his attention. He gave Loki everything Loki asked for, including spending some time in the market to gamble.

Then he led Loki to the sect grounds and helped him register as a member of the sect. Loki bid farewell to him there and went into the city.
