However, just as he used the Space Blink Metac, a part of his existence that was missing was restored and certain memories that had been missing in his mind were finally unlocked.

As these memories gushed into his mind, his eyes became unfocused, and he became confused. It became difficult for him to tell who he was and what he was doing at the moment.

Fortunately for him, his confusion disappeared two seconds later. Then his confusion was replaced with enlightenment. He was able to finally understand what was going on with him.

This understanding came with a swift change in his mindset and demeanor. His eyes became deeper and also more weathered. The gaze with which he looked at things became sharper, and his thoughts became more shrewd.

He looked around and said to himself, "So I am in the Four Directions Sect. What an Irony."

Then he looked inwardly at himself and asked in confusion, "What happened to me? Wasn’t I supposed to awaken with the Rewind Metac? How will I fight back without the Rewind Metac?"

The absence of the Rewind Metac within him nearly caused him to panic. But his years of experience helped him to remain calm and collected.

He said to himself with a sigh, "There is no use crying over split milk. At least, I didn’t awaken with the Danger Sense Metac. That one is too dangerous to use."

"What I need to do is recover my strength as soon as possible. So I have to go. I can’t continue to waste my time playing around with these mortals."

His thoughts began to churn as his mind raced to make plans for recovering his strength. As for Loki and Skarg, he stopped thinking about them entirely.

It might look like a coincidence to others that two reincarnators appeared at the same time in one place, but he doesn’t think it is anything special because he knows that everyone alive is just a reincarnation of someone else. They have just forgotten who they were.

He won’t be surprised if two more people turn out to be reincarnators among the 100 of them, so there is no way that he will be surprised that both he and Loki turned out to be reincarnations.

As for fearing Loki, that is not possible. The kind of enemies that he has are not something that someone of Loki’s caliber can compare to.

He also doesn’t take his father in this lifetime, Skarg, seriously anymore. In fact, he has more respect for Loki, no matter how little it is, than he does for Skarg. After all, Loki is worthy enough to reincarnate, while Skarg doesn’t have that privilege.

While Slav was thinking about his plans, Loki was going through a roller-coaster of emotions. His eyes had widened to the extent that they were about to crack and bleed. This is all because of the changes that Slav had undergone.

When Slav activated the Space Blink Metac, his eyes had lit up with interest. Other people were shocked by this display of power, but not Loki. He wasn’t shocked to see someone shift their position in the blink of an eye because he already knew that they were capable of this.

Instead of feeling shock or surprise, he only felt anticipation for what this Space Blink Metac can achieve in the right hands. Those right hands are off course, his.

For sure, the Space Blink Metac will make Slav more difficult to subdue and kill, but since he could track Slav and since he had managed to kill Slav when Slav was able to sense the danger, he felt confident that he would still be able to kill the current Slav and acquire the Space Blink Divine Metac.

But just as he was feeling cocky, he saw Slav become unrecognizable right before his eyes.

The power of Slav’s Will, Mind, and Skill suddenly changed right before his eyes. This caused his eyes to widen in shock. The shock was too great that it strained both his mind to comprehend and his eyes to express.

His thoughts stagnated as he tried to make sense of what had just happened. But no matter how he tried, the only thing he could manage to do was to say, "What the fuck is going on?"

He said this as a shout. So everyone in the awakening room heard his exclamation.

They didn’t know that this was because he saw Slav’s Dao Heart reach the divine level, and might be more because Fenrir couldn’t see the full extent of Slav’s power. They thought that he had exclaimed because he saw Slav blink, which is something they can understand and empathize with.

Slav also heard Loki’s exclamation. This made him say in disdain, "What a country bumpkin. He probably has never seen a Divine Metac. No wonder he failed to become a divine being in his last life."

Then he ignored Loki and thought to himself, "This does reveal a big problem, though. My Divine Metac has been exposed because I used it in front of everyone. If even a measly reincarnator like this can be moved by it, then every divine being in existence will surely want a piece of me."

"It is unfortunate that I don’t have the power to kill everyone to silence them. Then again, if I did that, I might draw more attention to myself. So I have to go as soon as possible."

Muni wasn’t aware of all of these things that were going on within the room. He didn’t know that Slav had changed. He only saw Slav blink, which made his heart begin to beat in fear.

He groaned outwardly after understanding why Slav had blinked and said to himself, "That can’t be a normal Metac. It has to be a divine Metac."

Then his face became full of regret as he said, "I am so screwed. They will tear down everything in their way to get this Divine Metac. I knew I shouldn’t have signed up for this thankless job."
