The Girls Are All Coveting Me-Chapter 415 - 351: He Really Spoils You Rotten
Damn, what’s the deal between Fratiss and Chloe?
Are they really just fellow members of the Association?
It’s the first time I’ve seen the little foodie so happy; the two of them seem really familiar.
Seeing him makes Fratiss smile, and they’re just members of the same Association.
Even their future workplace is the same.
Could it be...?
Damn it.
Have they already become a couple, and I’m just the third wheel?
Thinking of this, Emily started feeling guilty.
"Uh, um, Chloe, sorry for barging in today and getting between you two."
Chloe was momentarily stunned, then laughed: "Haha, it’s fine. Are you Fratiss’s classmate?"
Having a few more good friends for his silly sister is definitely a good thing.
But after hearing Chloe’s reply, Emily was screaming inside:
"Oh my god, I knew it, they’re in a relationship."
"Th-thank you." The girl said, wiping the sweat off her forehead, "I-I only just realized Fratiss can smile so brightly."
"Hmm?" Chloe chuckled, "From what you’re saying, Fratiss seems quite quiet usually?"
"N-not really, I’m just trying to get closer to her." Emily said a bit flustered.
She briefly explained Fratiss’s situation in their major to Chloe.
Short summary: Not talkative, reserved, excels in studies, graceful Sword Dance
A cool beauty!
Chloe seemed a bit puzzled.
Does Fratiss really try to maintain such an image in their major?
"It’s just she gives off a vibe of not wanting to engage with outsiders."
"I think I understand what you’re saying," Chloe nodded, "Those meeting Fratiss for the first time might feel that way, I get it. But at heart, she’s actually kind and warm, just not good at expressing herself."
This issue has been noticeable since her time as Kasha.
The core is a bit tsundere, but the exterior is aloof.
Not everyone has mind-reading skills, so interacting with Fratiss can be a bit confusing.
But saying this only made Emily more perplexed.
Is this what Fratiss is usually like?
Although their relationship had improved significantly, the girl would occasionally smile more but was still far from being enthusiastic.
Oh, I get it.
The lively version of Fratiss is boyfriend-exclusive, huh?
"I-I never had the chance to see Fratiss perform before, just happened to be busy," Emily tried to steer the conversation, "Is she dazzling on stage as well?"
"Of course, she’s one of the best actors I’ve ever seen."
"R-really? I’d love to watch her if I get the chance."
"You’ll be surprised for sure."
As they chatted, a subtle laugh suddenly came from behind.
Turning around, they saw Fratiss, who had just picked up some things, hiding behind a pillar, looking at them with a smug smile.
Her expression was subtly adorable, making one smile along.
Fratiss, her face animated, whispered, "I still have much to learn and a long way to go."
"Come out," Chloe waved at Fratiss, "Why so shy hiding behind a pillar, come over here."
"Darn it."
Emily couldn’t help but break into cheerful laughter.
"Did you get everything you needed?"
"Mmhmm."
"Take your own stuff."
"Got it," Fratiss replied sweetly.
Chloe took the two extra drinks from her hands: "Emily, pick one for yourself."
"Huh? For me?"
"Yeah."
"Isn’t that too expensive?"
"No worries, go ahead and take it."
Chloe held Fratiss back and said, "Little foodie, your classmate wants to get closer to you, you should be nice to her."
"Huh? Aren’t we already pretty close?"
"Become good girlfriends."
"R-really? No one’s said that to me before."
"I heard Fratiss, you’ve been maintaining a pristine image in your major, almost like becoming an ice princess, what’s that about?"
"N-not at all, I keep quiet because if I talk too much, they’ll see my mind’s all on food, their gazes are weird, so I gradually stopped talking."
"Haha, having a good appetite is a blessing. Anyway, you both keep at it." Chloe pinched Fratiss’s nose and said, "I need to go see Master Heisha."
"Mmhmm, you be careful on your way."
"Alright, I’ll leave you two now."
"Bye-bye."
...
The next day.
Emily and Fratiss went to the Quantum Center for training together.
Since there was quite a difference in skill between them, their initial plan to spar quickly turned into solo training for Fratiss.
After training, they removed their virtual helmets, and Fratiss happily said, "Looks like we need to come here more often. The school training grounds can’t handle our regular exercises."
"With the way you slam your sword and shield on the ground, cracking it, it’s definitely not ideal to train there. Maybe you all should get a Maze as a training ground, so you don’t have so many restrictions in a Maze."
"No, the little Maze is really expensive."
"Oh, did you guys actually afford it?"
"I can’t afford it, but the senior can." Fratiss stretched lazily, "We’ve been training for 6 hours, let’s pause here for now. By the way, do you want to go eat with me?"
"Sure!" Emily agreed cheerfully, "Where do you want to eat?"
"I want to swing by the Extreme Association first, I left something there, we can decide on the way."
"Let’s go!"
...
Location: Extreme Association.
"Yo, Fratiss, come get today’s dessert."
"Hehe, you really know me, senior."
"Little foodie, I left some egg tarts in the microwave for you, make sure to grab them yourself!"
"Love you, senior!"
Emily stood in the hall of the Extreme Association, a little shivering.
She had heard about the reputation of the Extreme Association long ago, but had never actually been inside.
There’s no choice; the Amber Hall of the Extreme Association is one of the few areas in the school sold entirely to major clients.
It was originally meant for serious association offices.
Now it has been transformed into a gathering and living place for association members.
Ordinary members would visit occasionally.
The core members staying here long-term generally have specific tasks assigned.
Chloe has expanded her scope, taking over a large amount of Old Lainer’s Magic Workshop products by herself.
As a result, the entire association now has uniforms in matching colors, and even the basic equipment is clearly crafted by the same master.
Chloe’s requirements for the standardized equipment made by Old Lainer, besides fundamental practical needs, also emphasized one critical point — it must look good.
Wearing unattractive uniforms doesn’t bring a sense of accomplishment.
They have to be attractive enough to make others look with envy at first glance.
Even the most ordinary-looking members felt a bit dashing when wearing the Extreme Association’s uniform.
So, at some point, all the members began replacing their casual wear with association uniforms.
Emily’s first reaction upon entering was that the Extreme Association members really know how to dress.
As a girl who wears plain shirts every day, she felt a bit out of place here.
Wahhh, should I dress myself up a bit? Maybe take off the glasses, get Demon Eye surgery, and change to some nice-looking colored lenses?
"Eh? Senior, you’re here too today?" Fratiss’s voice instantly caught Emily’s attention.
She looked up to see a spectacled lady standing opposite the little foodie.
Miseria said, "Oh, little Fratiss, why are you here so early today? Senior bought pizza today, do you want some?"
"Hehe, no need, I just came to fetch the snacks senior left for me."
"He sure does spoil you."
"Hehe, that’s right."
Emily: ...
Wahhh.
Sorry.
It’s my fault.
I shouldn’t have doubted the taste of the spectacled girl, perhaps it’s not the glasses that are the problem.
So why does someone on the Soldier Lord Path still get nearsighted?
Just as Emily was lost in thought, she felt a fragrant breeze pass by her.
She instinctively looked over.
"Wow."
The little girl was dazzled with big confusion.
So, so beautiful!
Where did this stunning beauty come from?
"Hmm? Who are you?" Lilith turned her head to look at Emily.
Emily was startled, flustered, and said, "I, I’m Fratiss’s friend, sorry to bother you."
"Oh, her friend."
Lilith nodded and turned to Miseria.
"Why are you so late?" Miseria said with a face full of annoyance.
"I hurried here."
"So why do I have to take care of investigating the Extraordinary Traits related to the Saints?"
"Just handle it all at once. There are only a few Mazes where enemy Saints might exist, not like the Demigod side."
"So what have you been busy with lately?"
"Wasn’t the Locke Empire previously going to negotiate a benefit exchange with them? Been handling that."
"Alright then, I’ll keep an eye on the Saints matter."
As they chatted, Fratiss happened to come down the stairs.
Seeing Lilith, Fratiss energetically walked over: "Hello, senior."
The usually stern Lilith turned her head: "Oh, hi, hi..."
Miseria watched the amusing scene, smiling slightly.
"Seniors, I have to leave now."
"Bye~"
"Take care."
Fratiss trotted over to Emily: "Sorry, did you wait long?"
"No, not at all." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Miseria behind them said in surprise, "It’s the first time I’ve seen Fratiss bring a friend to the association."
"It’s not that she hasn’t done it, but those people were all members of the Extreme Association."
"Alright, let’s go get something to eat. Damn it, used to hate it when rival Saints caused great catastrophes. Now, wanting to hunt them, can’t find even one."
