The Fortunate Demoniac Little Village Doctor-Chapter 1433 - 780: Death (Part 2)
"Young Master." The Clan Leader entered the courtyard, looked at Liu Hun, who was facing away from them, and respectfully said.
Hearing the Clan Leader’s words, Liu Hun turned around, his expression unchanged, scanned the crowd with his eyes, and then said in a deep voice: "Leave some people in Sin City, the rest will follow me to the airport soon!"
"Boss, no, the issues in Sin City aren’t resolved yet. If you leave like this, I’m afraid those guys will immediately cause trouble and won’t listen to my orders." The fat man rushed over, panting slightly, and upon hearing Liu Hun’s words, he couldn’t even catch his breath, his face full of urgency as he spoke to Liu Hun.
Under normal circumstances, Liu Hun might consider things carefully, but this time he had no patience, his face somewhat cold as he looked at the fat man.
Feeling Liu Hun’s cold gaze, the fat man instantly broke out in a cold sweat and understood that something significant must have happened, otherwise, Liu Hun wouldn’t be doing this.
But the fat man also had his own difficulties. Now, Sin City seemed calm on the surface, but if Liu Hun left, things could get troublesome for him.
This outcome was not what the fat man wanted to see. After so many years, he’s finally had the opportunity to reach the Peak, and if he falls, it will surely hurt.
"If you can’t handle this, then you serve no purpose. Remember, I, Liu Hun, need useful people, not a bunch of useless ones. I’ve paved the way for you, and if you can’t handle these small obstacles, what use are you to me?" Liu Hun unceremoniously rebuked the fat man in front of everyone.
This time, the fat man’s face turned even paler, and he suddenly realized that Liu Hun was not as easygoing as he appeared. If he angered Liu Hun, there would be consequences.
Unlike Old Ghost and the others, he didn’t have that kind of standing with Liu Hun, unrelated to strength but based on Liu Hun’s trust. If he couldn’t handle this, Liu Hun might just kick him out at any time.
That result was definitely not what the fat man wanted. Since Liu Hun had made up his mind, the fat man, with a bit of fear, nodded quickly to Liu Hun and said, "Boss, don’t worry, I will complete the task. I guarantee to do it perfectly."
"If there are no other questions, everyone should go pack what they need, then head to the airport. As for the tickets, they will be randomly assigned, and I don’t want your identities exposed to others. I’ll leave Sin City earlier to go to Beijing, and you can catch up later." Liu Hun glanced at everyone and continued to instruct.
"Yes, Young Master, we will not cause you any trouble. Please rest assured." The Clan Leader respectfully replied to Liu Hun.
Seeing the Clan Leader’s demeanor, Liu Hun nodded with satisfaction and signaled everyone to go pack their things.
As for Liu Hun, he didn’t have much to pack, so he changed clothes swiftly and left Sin City with Old Ghost, heading to the airport.
"Boss, what’s going on? Why are we rushing to leave Sin City so suddenly? The situation here isn’t fully stable yet, and I’m worried that relying solely on Chen Feng and the fat man, other families might deliberately cause trouble, making it difficult for us to establish ourselves in Sin City." On the road, Old Ghost questioned Liu Hun while they sped towards the airport.
This was not a minor issue; mishandling this could prevent them from securing Sin City and invite more trouble. This outcome was what Old Ghost least wanted to see.
Though he liked excitement, he wasn’t about to create problems for Liu Hun for the sake of thrill.
"Liu Hu found that mysterious mail three days ago and sent it to me. Here’s the original, see for yourself." With just Liu Hun and Old Ghost in the car, Liu Hun had no secrets, handing the phone to Old Ghost.
Noticing Liu Hun’s unpleasant expression, Old Ghost couldn’t keep his usual joking demeanor, looking seriously at Liu Hun. After he read the mail, shock filled his face.
Even now, he couldn’t quite grasp why this situation arose; the mail arrived three days ago, and they might not be in time to stop things even if they rushed back now.
If things unfolded as feared, all of Liu Hun’s efforts would be in vain, something Old Ghost did not want.
"Now Liu Hu’s phone is unreachable; something might have happened in Beijing. Lingering in Sin City will be pointless, even if we conquer it." Liu Hun shook his head, his face full of helplessness.
He was anxious, but even Liu Hun knew that in this situation, no amount of urgency would help. The situation reached this point, and there’s no one to blame.
All the way, Liu Hun pushed the car’s speed to the limit, ignoring traffic lights. When they arrived at the airport and just parked, a dozen police cars surrounded them.
"You are surrounded. Put your hands up on your heads, or we’ll take action." Facing the police, Liu Hun’s face showed annoyance.
Though he knew not to be overly eager, Liu Hun had seen some hope since his rebirth, and if that vanished, he’d understandably be upset.
No matter how Liu Hun usually appeared, he was still an ordinary person with a heart of flesh, making him anxious.
"Take a look at this ID first!" Unbothered to argue, Liu Hun tossed an ID from his pocket.
The police’s expressions changed upon seeing the ID; they had chased Liu Hun because his reckless driving paralyzed half the city, which would normally be a major crime in such a place.
However, holding this ID, they felt uneasy, regretting their pursuit and now unsure how to proceed.
"If you have nothing else, I need to return to Beijing. No time for nonsense." Seeing their stunned faces, Liu Hun retrieved the ID and said in a deep voice.
With that, the police had no objections; Liu Hun’s identity was beyond their interference.
"U-understood, sir." The officer saluted Liu Hun, returned the ID, and Liu Hun, without looking back, headed towards the airport.
