Chapter 978: The First Quest!

Since the Suleon would have William's help to complete the first quest, its difficulty had grown as well. William was a level 200+ adventurer, so the requirement would consider that. fr๐šŽe๐™ฌ๐šŽ๐š‹๐š—เซฆฮฝ๐šŽ๐’.cเซฆm

Things went like that as William looked at the quest screen in front of him. He had a frown on his face.

The screen detailed the first quest. It wanted the Suleon to become the overlord of the Francia Forest. It was the territory of the Crazed Boars. These creatures were gigantic in shape and got angry.

Their strength was for everyone to see, as the Francia Forest was a forbidden zone for any being below Level 235. Unfortunately for William, he was only Level 234, so it was a similar zone for him since there was not only a Level 235 Crazed Boar in the forest but also tens and hundreds of thousands of other level boars.

The more William looked at the screen, the more frustrated he became, so he waved his hands, and the screen disappeared.

"Only if there was no time limit," William muttered helplessly, as the quest wanted the Suleon to become the overlord of the forest in seven days.

If there were no time limit, William would have increased his level to a satisfying level and then begun the quest. In seven days, forget achieving a sufficient power level; even becoming Level 235 seemed impossible.

Since Suleon had gotten the quest yesterday, now only six more days were left, and even then, he could only stay for six hours each day.

Since failing the first quest would result in an even more difficult mission, William knew he needed to complete it at any cost. If only the first mission were like this, then he could only imagine what the Suleon would get after failing it.

The rule of only getting three first quests was active for the beasts like other adventurers.

William was currently a few hundred miles away from the Francia Forest so he decided to travel there. He didn't have much time to waste.

On his way, William talked with the Suleon, telling it some instructions. Once they entered the forest, William wouldn't be able to take back the card unless they completed the quest or failed it, and at the same time, it only had a limited number of lives, so William tried his best.

It didn't take long for William to cross such a distance as he currently stood at the entrance of the forest. There were already shining blobs of light directed at William with myriads of expressions. But one thing was common in all those eyes, the excitement of someone entering the forest.

"Don't forget what I told you," William sternly told the Suleon.

The Suleon nodded. Since it was only a newborn, its size was small, and there was an innocent aura around it.

William then took a deep breath and stepped inside, with the Suleon following him.

William's steps hadn't even completely landed inside the forest when something came charging at him.

William's fighting skills were no joke, as he had learned them from a better version of the Sun Elves in the training area.

A bow engraved with several patterns appeared in his hands as he stretched the bowstring and took a shot.

The boar charging at him was even lower than Level 200, so he didn't even need an arrow. Just the wind released from the string was enough to crush the boar into a pulp.

It was only the start, as tens of boars had charged at William. His eyes remained calm as he shot one arrow after another, none missing the target and crushing their brains straight down, killing them instantly.

The Suleon stayed hiding behind William, as it was nothing but a child waiting to get hunted in the presence of those boars.

Soon, only William and the Suleon were left standing in the area, with a gory scene spreading across the forest's entry point.

William didn't stay there for long, as the smell of blood had grown heavy, and it would now summon strong boars to the scene.

Since the Suleon wasn't even a Level 1 creature, it couldn't run quick enough, so William carried it and ran in the direction that gave him the least dangerous sensation. f๐“‡๐˜ฆ๐’†๐˜„๐‘’๐—ฏ๐‘›๐—ผัต๐™šl.๐’„๐˜ฐ๐“ถ

The Francia Forest was dense and in a vast area spread across thousands of miles. Still, the number of Crazed Boars William came across in only a few minutes was sufficient for the total battles in a year.

William finally came across a difficult opponent as his sight welcomed a sole boar sleeping below the shadow of the tree.

His face turned grave since the boar in front of him was also a Level 234 creature. William could only curse his luck for coming across such a beast so early in his travels.

The boar, comfortably sleeping on the ground, smelled William and the Suleon's body odor, but it was unlike other Crazed Boars. It wanted to laze around, so it ignored him, but when William reached a range of five hundred meters around it, it had no choice but to stand up.

The boar roared in anger as it charged at William. Its spear-like teeth glowed brightly as a cover surrounded the creature. Wherever the creature passed, the ground beneath it had turned into a burnt site.

William's face was grave as he stretched the string. As the string was getting stretched, an outline of an arrow was appearing.

When the arrow was complete, William released it, and soon, the shot flew toward the creature, tearing through the air.

There was a golden glow around the arrow, and soon it clashed with the boar.

Boom!

An explosion rang out in the area, but soon its sound was devoured by the sound of an army of arrows flying through the air.

Time flew by, and finally, the battle between the creature and William came to an end.

William's arsenal of arrows trumped the overbearing strength of the Crazed Boar. Soon, it was time for William to return to the Sacred Dimension, as a hostile force began to act on him.

Fortunately for him, he could take the Suleon back with him to reality, or he would have long failed the quest.

The next moment, a white light surrounded him, and soon after, he found himself back in the familiar portal room.
