The God of Death nodded at Ye Li before an endless amount of the Power of Death appeared.

The two forces clashed directly, shocking the Universe, and neither won against the other.

Ye Li moved. The God of Death’s nod had indicated that he could stop the Grand Empyrean from interfering.

Suddenly, a golden hand appeared, blocking his path.

He looked over and saw the Grand Empyrean.

"If you insist on dying, don’t blame me."

He ignored the Champion of the Sun and began to attack the Grand Empyrean.

Facing two of the most powerful beings in the Universe, she quickly fell into a disadvantage. However, despite her perilous situation, she gave a glance to the Champion of the Sun.

It indicated a clear meaning. "Hide. I will hold them back."

The Champion of the Sun, naturally, could not do this. It went against everything he believed in. Even if he would die today, he would not run and hide, allowing humanity’s greatest supporter to be killed.

The Champion of the Sun, despite being injured and drained from his momentary clash with Ye Li, pointed his finger to the sky. A giant sun appeared, and he leapt forward.

He aimed directly for Ye Li.

Even Ye Li could not simply ignore this attack, which seemed to use everything the Champion of the Sun had left.

So he made another move.

With a kick, the space around the Grand Empyrean and the God of Death shifted, sending their fight to the other side of the Universe.

Ye Li reached out towards the descending sun, three Karma Spirals wrapped around his hand.

A calm expression was on his face. Everything would end up as expected.

The sun directly exploded, without moving so much as a hair out of place on Ye Li.

His hand did not slow or stop advancing, and he gripped the Champion of the Sun by the neck.

The Champion of the Sun was thoroughly out of everything. He could not muster up the slightest resistance as Karma Spirals invaded his body.

The Grand Empyrean struggled to get over to him, but the God of Death slowed her enough. She would be too late.

Suddenly, a small snap was heard. The sound resounded throughout the Universe.

Ye Li’s eyes widened in disbelief as the hand holding the Champion of the Sun by the neck was cleanly severed. A figure grabbed the Champion of the Sun and teleported away, making great distance.

Seeing who it was caused Ye Li to laugh in disbelief.

"Really? And after all this time, you weren’t even smart enough to go for my neck?" He said disdainfully.

Yhwh was naturally the one who had taken action.

He was now a Peak Earth Immortal. Without a doubt, he would be unable to stand up to Ye Li in a fight. Yet he did.

Ye Li took a step forward, and a large, gray eye appeared behind him.

"It seems I let you live too long. I thought you would wallow in self pity for the rest of your life. In fact, I was certain."

He looked to the sky and spoke. "You really can’t sit still and let a person die for good."

His action could only mean one thing, and everybody understood it. He was talking to Zhou Fan.

"If you have a complaint, send it to my assistant." A voice rang out.

This was another way of saying, "I don’t care".

Ye Li hadn’t even been expecting a response, but he ignored it nonetheless.

Without another word, he took another step forward and appeared in front of Ye Li.

His hand formed a claw that swiped up at Yhwh.

Yhwh tried to defend with his arms, but they were shattered and he was sent flying. The Champion of the Sun was already passed out and floating in space, but nobody paid him any more attention.

He was nothing compared to Yhwh in Ye Li’s eyes.

Before Yhwh could react, Ye Li appeared above him and stomped down, the Power of Karma sending him flying with broken bones.

"What exactly has changed, to make you confident in standing up to me?" Ye Li asked.

This was not a taunt, but a genuine question.

"What changed? I decided to keep my followers on my person instead of in the outside Universe." Yhwh said plainly.

Only now did Ye Li take notice of a necklace on Yhwh’s neck. Inside, there appeared to be an entire Mini-Universe, though it was far bigger than the original Universe had been, and not by a small margin.

"I’m really not interested in your followers. I’m talking about strength wise." Yhwh said with a casual slap, sending Yhwh flying back.

"I don’t need to have changed in strength. The only reason you defeated me back then was because of your cowardly tactics."

"Have you convinced yourself of that?" Ye Li asked, momentarily stopping his attacks.

Yhwh stood firm. "Yes. Of course, there is a bit of an issue with the difference in strength right now, but I won’t die today."

"Who do you think can save you?" Ye Li asked. "Don’t tell me you convince Zhou Fan to help you out?"

Yhwh just pointed behind Ye Li.

Ye Li didn’t need to turn to see the figure that appeared behind him.

"Shit."

He ducked, and a black arm appeared above his head.

Ye Li kicked the being in the chest from a crouched position, sending him flying.

A giant Karma Spiral appeared, with hundreds of smaller spirals rotating around it. The black figure was sent flying back, cuts appearing all over its body, but midway, it disappeared and appeared behind Ye Li.

An arm swung at him, but Ye Li caught it.

"What are you doing?"

The figure did not respond. It couldn’t. It was unable to speak at all.

It was unknown if the Hidden Being understood language, but it was a fact that he was powerful, even for his level.

The Hidden Being vanished again. Ye Li could only find him when he attacked.

This was one of the Hidden Being’s mastered Rule’s. The Rule of Hiding.
