The Fake Heiress Turns Out to Be a True Tycoon!-Chapter 61 - Micah Quigley You Make Me Sick
Chapter 61: Chapter 61 Micah Quigley, You Make Me Sick
Chapter 61 -61 Micah Quigley, You Make Me Sick
Lucas Jennings instinctively wanted to ask who Micah Quigley was. The next second, the boy had already stepped forward, trying to barge in.
“I’m here to see Delilah!”
Lucas was caught off guard, and the boy had already forced his way through the door.
Inside, Scarlett Jennings and the others heard the commotion. When the door opened and they saw Micah Quigley, Mrs. Woods’s face turned incredibly grim.
As for Delilah Woods, her complexion, which wasn’t good to begin with, instantly turned deathly pale, and her whole body involuntarily began to tremble.
The moment Micah entered, he saw Delilah sitting on the bed, glaring at him. Her gloomy eyes seemed to brighten in an instant, and his voice was filled with surprise.
“Delilah! I knew you weren’t dead!”
As he spoke, he lifted his leg and hurried toward Delilah.
Mrs. Woods wouldn’t dare let him near her daughter, who had finally returned to normal, so she instinctively blocked his path.
Scarlett also guessed the boy’s identity and was preparing to intercept him.
Suddenly, a figure moved faster than Micah, swooshing directly to the bedroom door, raised a hand, and fiercely pushed Micah back, preventing him from entering.
“Get the hell back! Take one more step, and I’ll break your legs!”
Though Lucas was still young, the ferocity in his eyes was unmistakable.
At fourteen, his figure seemed tall, and at a glance, surprisingly reliable.
Caught off guard by the push, Micah’s face immediately showed a ferocious expression.
He glared at Lucas, asking once more:
“Who are you?! This is between her and me!”
“Who am I? I’m just a righteous passerby!”
Lucas retorted without thinking, seeing that Micah still wanted to charge in, he once again raised his hand and gave him a hard shove,
“Stand there! Did the family head invite you in? My sister hasn’t spoken yet! My sister hasn’t let you in, so stay put!”
Lucas completely positioned himself as his sister’s bodyguard, with a look that demanded respect for his sister’s authority.
Micah, intent on seeing Delilah, had no mind to listen to the nonsense.
Seeing himself pushed away again and again, he lost his temper, and without another word, swung his fist toward Lucas’s face.
Though young, Lucas had been trained at home, and instinctively raised his hand to block.
Just as he thought he was going to get hit today, Scarlett suddenly waved her hand lightly behind him.
Micah’s swung fist suddenly froze in the air.
Micah was stunned,
Lucas was also stunned.
But having had similar experiences, he reacted faster.
Taking advantage of the two-second gap, he swiftly shifted from defense to offense, twisted Micah’s arm, then pinned it behind Micah’s back, pressing him down in one smooth motion.
The action was so fluid that Lucas almost found himself impressed.
He quickly turned his head, looking at Scarlett with excitement, his eyes brimming with light as if asking,
“Wasn’t I cool?! You tell me I wasn’t cool?!”
Although he already guessed that Scarlett had helped him earlier, it didn’t stop Lucas from feeling proud.
Micah was pressed down, half-kneeling on the ground, his face turning red with rage, looking like an angry little lion.

He struggled to break free from Lucas’s restraint, but for some reason, his arms and legs felt inexplicably weak, letting the opponent subdue him.
Looking up, he met Delilah’s eyes through the bedroom door, and couldn’t help but speak,
“Delilah! I’m Micah! Are you just going to watch them treat me like this?!”
Delilah clutched the sheet tightly, glaring at Micah outside, her whole body tense but she didn’t speak.
Micah continued,
“Delilah, I just wanted to see you…
I’ve been worried about you for over a year, I wanted to find you, but my family kept watching me, they wouldn’t let me see you…”
“Delilah, you know I love you, I’ve always been thinking of you…”
Micah poured out his feelings, unaware that each word sounded like the devil’s whisper to Delilah.
Her body trembled uncontrollably. Memories of being bullied by him, being coerced into becoming his girlfriend, played repeatedly in her mind.
Finally, she couldn’t help but interrupt sharply.
“Shut up! Just shut up!”
Delilah’s eyes reddened, glaring fiercely at Micah, her voice trembling yet resolute,
“I don’t want to see you at all! Every word you say makes me utterly nauseated, Micah! You are a scumbag!
Why can’t you just leave me alone?! What did I ever do wrong? What did I do wrong?!”
Since waking up yesterday, Delilah had been on edge.
She and Mrs. Woods both deliberately tried to forget what happened a year ago, even starting to fantasize about a new life ahead.
But Micah’s arrival made her realize that she couldn’t forget.
She shouted with a hoarse voice, seeming to vent the pain and despair she had endured these past two years.
Scarlett remained silent, Lucas holding Micah didn’t speak either, only applying more pressure on Micah.
The latter appeared unaware, staring fixedly at Delilah inside, unable to believe her reaction.
In his eyes, after a long separation, knowing he had been fighting his family for her, surviving a life-and-death struggle, she should have had a revelation, understood his feelings for her.
But why…
Did she say he was disgusting?
“Delilah Woods, do you dare say you never liked me?!”
Micah gritted his teeth, unwilling to believe what she had just said.
Yes, he bullied her at first, but he apologized to her.
Yes, he forced her at the beginning, but it was just in a moment of impulse!
Later when he realized he liked her, he sincerely made her his girlfriend.
Even though there was indeed an element of coercion, it was all because he liked her!
He always believed that as long as she became his girlfriend, as long as they spent time together, she would fall in love with him as he did with her.
Even if she usually showed resistance, he firmly believed she liked him!
“I never liked you! You have been forcing me all along!
You threatened me with my mom’s job! You threatened me with my studies, how could I possibly like you? I don’t like you at all! It’s you who won’t let me go!!”
Delilah’s voice was filled with breakdown.
She didn’t know what she had done wrong, why she had to suffer such a fate?
He and his associates cornered her in the girls’ bathroom and sprayed her with a hose, laughing and mocking her.
Dumped leftovers from his meal into her bowl, tore up her books, even pinned her in the mud to recite her lessons…
God knows, when he said he liked her, she almost wanted to vomit with disgust.
How could he think that after he did so many horrible things to her, she could still like him?
How could anyone possibly like someone who had deeply hurt them?
