The Extra's Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!-Chapter 162: [Late Night Dinner!]
"Now that we are finally relaxed, let us continue the conversation from where we left off, shall we?"
Elliot sat on the right side while Amber on the left. Elliot’s parents took one seat beside her on the right while Sebastian was between Elliot’s father and Amber.
A waiter who was looking from a distance observed my face before I raised my hand calling him to me. Though, hesitatingly, he simply kept observing Sebastian who slowly nodded at him.
The waiter was scared, his legs shaking. A single push or misstep might have been enough for him to fall on his steps but still one step at a time, he moved closer to us. Standing beside Sebastian he passed on the menu to him, which was then passed on to me.
Another Menu was simply held by him until Sebastian gestured him to place it on the table in front of Elliot’s father.
Elliot’s father silently looked at the menu in front of him before turning to his wife, who was absentmindedly staring at me. He then slowly passed on the menu to Sebastian without any words.
"What’s the best dish here?" I asked as I looked at the waiter with a smile on my face.
The waiter slowly turned to me, as he kept observing me without answering anything. Rather than being rude, it was more like he was too scared to speak anything. Though as I coughed twice, he slowly mustered courage before speaking,
"It’s the Chef’s Special, Orlean Stew."
Hearing his words, I nodded before turning to Amber for a few seconds. And then back at him,"three of them for the family and me. And a chocolate brownie for the kid. Sebastian, what are you going to order?"
"I’ll go with a simple sandwich," he answered before sending the waiter away.

And with that done, the next main topic of tonight,
"So. Tell me about the entire Half-Ghoul thingy. And also about the Vampires, will you?"
Sebastian gave out a long sigh before asking,
"Mr. Crowley. I don’t mind telling you everything that I know but… as a human being, can I ask you one thing if you don’t mind?"
"Sure," I answered as I took a sip of water.
"Then. Are you really human? And… Which side are you on? The humans or the vampires? I apologise but if you are against humanity then could you please kill me before I become one of the reasons for the doom of humanity," he spoke with all the seriousness he could.
Perhaps he was contemplating this for a long time? He seemed pretty sure to be ready to sacrifice himself right now.
’So, how should I answer this?’ I pondered about it for a few seconds before a deep smile formed on my face as I answered,
"You can take me as a God from another world who came here to relax for a few days. As for which side I am on, it doesn’t matter really… "
His eyes narrowed as he didn’t take my words lightly. Then musturing his courage as he put his life on the line, he asked,
"What do you mean… it doesn’t matter?"
’Oh! He is actually asking the right questions, huh?’ I thought before I answered,
"I mean. In two weeks, the world is going to end. I don’t exactly know how, but I am here to observe that. To study that to be precise."
A sudden silence fell around as all the people present here looked at me. Not only people here, but perhaps the one who was observing me through the cameras?
"That… is something I find hard to believe really," he spoke as he narrowed his eyes at me, while I sighed before answering,
"Well, you and I cannot change since we both don’t know how it’s going to happen. And the only way to prove it is to wait for 2 weeks. Though by then, I will be nothing more than an observer and you will be nothing more than a witness."
"…"
"…"
"…"
"…"
The table went silent again, before I saw the waiter bringing the dishes that we ordered.
"Ooh! That was fast. Nice," I smiled as I looked at that same waiter bringing the food to us. For one reason or another, he was shaking even more now. Though I ignored that as I asked him,
"That’s some delivery speed. You aren’t serving us old food, are you?"
"N-N-No… It was prepared w-with the most cautious as p-possible," he was shaking as he was about to let go of one of the food plates. Though before the plate fell on the ground, I saw Sebastian catching them and then helping the waiter serve.
All the food was placed on the table before the waiter stood at a distance, observing us in case we needed something.
"So. Sebastian. You still haven’t answered my question," I looked at him, hoping he would give me an answer this time. Meanwhile, I saw in the map that there were more and more gunmen being stationed around the restaurant. There were some snipers ready to take shots at us even.
Using a bit of my energy, I reinforced the glass beside us from where the sniper was taking aim, reinforcing it to take hits without breaking even if a dozen Bazookas were to be shot at us.
Placing a portion of the stew at my plate, I then slowly took a bite to taste it.
A smile formed on my face as I found it appetizing. It wasn’t as great as the ones that I made, but it was still tasty enough to be eaten. I will probably come here in case I want to eat again.
"Actually…"
Sebastian finally began telling me bits about this world and stuff. Perhaps he took my words of "God from another world" seriously, he began explaining things from the beginning.
This world is different from mine regarding two things.
One was the presence of Vampires, the other being the presence of something called Blood Night.
There are three moons present in this world. A red Moon, a blue moon and white moon, each holding their own significance.
The White moon is the same as the normal moon back in my home, so there was nothing important about it on its own.
The red moon, also known as the blood moon, appears once every month for a night and increases the powers of all the ghouls present in this world.
The Blue Moon, also known as the silver moon, appears once every year for a night and increases the powers of the vampires.
Once every 30 months, the red moon and the full white moon come out at the same night, align with each other for 3 hours, and a percent of all the humans are turned into Ghouls.
Once every 30 Years, the blue moon and the full white moon come out at the same night, align with each other for 30 minutes, and about every 1,000,000th person turn into Vampires
Finally, once every 900 years, all the three moons come into contact with each other for a mere minute and a single Vampire is born, this one way more powerful than all the others combined.
And this special Vampire is known as the Vampire King.
Vampires can create ghouls from humans and there is a strict hierarchy between the vampire created ghouls and the ones created by blood moon.
There are power differences and stuff as well.
Now, on to the main topic, about the Half-Ghouls and their existence.
Half Ghouls, a being having the powers of ghouls and and the capacity to live as a human. They can eat food like humans, can walk in the sun, while having all the capabilities of a ghoul.
Other than that, there was one more special thing about them. The fact that they can reproduce, and create more Vampires and ghouls depending upon who does the deed.
"While it’s not as a special since only one vampire or ghoul can be produced every 9 month, there is something extremely important about the vampires or the ghouls that produced by a half ghoul," Sebastian ended his entire tale as he looked at Elliot,
"Those offspring have the capability to walk in the sun just like the half ghoul."
"Hmmm. So she is a trophy artifact, huh?" I looked at Elliot who seemed really surprised with all this information.
"Yeah," Sebastian nodded," the Vampire King or the Ghoul King would hunt her at any cost while the humans would try to kill her for their own survival. A ghoul or a vampire that can walk in daylight isn’t good news for any of us."
"I… didn’t choose to be born this way… all I wanted was to live like a normal human… is that too much to ask for?" Elliot spoke as she looked at me, while Sebastian turned silent for a moment before turning at me and asking, Continue your story on novelbuddy
"Now that you have your answers. Tell me, Crowley. Are you with the humans or against us?"
I took the last bite out of my plate while everyone else had their plates empty from the start. Except me, nobody ate even a single bite of the food as they all kept listening to Sebastian’s words.
"Well. I am certainly not against anyone," I answered as I looked at him while he sighed before he asked again,
"Then. Will you let me kill the half-ghoul for the sake of humanity?"
And then I looked at Elliot who seemed to have given all hope for a few seconds, while her parents’ eyes shook as they looked at me.
A smile came to my face as I used a bit of my magic before…
"What Half-Ghoul?" I asked as I looked at Elliot who now looked more human than anyone present around us.
