The Extra's Reincarnation-Chapter 125: Student Council Introduction (Edited)
Two boys looked up from their conversation as Julian entered.
"Who's this stranger?" one asked with open curiosity.
Before Julian could explain himself one of the roommates confronted him face to face.
"Listen bro, the second and third year block is above us, we don't want to cause anymore trouble for this week"
But Julian gave them a polite smile, it seems they misunderstood his intentions for coming here.
"Ah… I'm actually not a second year or a third year either."
"…?"
The two roommates exchanged confused glances.
The taller one lowered his arms slightly with his brow furrowed.
"Then what are you doing here?"
"I'm a first year just like you."
The shorter one, with a scattering of freckles, blinked almost as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"First year? But... you look... Older and much better tch…"
Julian chuckled as he put his luggage to the side.
"I'm Julian. Sorry if I surprised you."
The shorter boy glared, a flare of jealousy flashing in his eyes.
"I'm Rean," he said, almost begrudgingly. "This is Tylo."
Tylo, the taller of the two, gave a nod.
"So you're really a first year?"
"Want me to prove it?" Julian asked with an innocent smile.
Rean held up a hand, his voice dripping with resignation.
"Nah, I believe you. How old are you anyway?"
"Fourteen, turning fifteen this year."
Rean's jaw dropped. He looked insulted by the news.
"You're younger than me too!?"
Julian tilted his head, slightly confused by the reaction.

Tylo smirked at Rean's distress.
"You get used to it," Tylo said with a shrug.
Julian began to settle in, placing his belongings neatly on an empty bed.
Tylo watched him curiously.
"Come to think of it, I didn't see you during O-Week as well,"
"It's my first day here," Julian replied.
"…!"
THUD!
Rean and Tylo exchanged glances of dawning realization before dropping to their knees in unison.
"ARE YOU THE SPECIAL ADMISSION STUDENT?" The two screamed out loud.
-What are they talking about? Isn't special admissions just a…vague way of saying I didn't pass the exam? Why are they treating me like royalty?
"Uh, it's fine. You don't have to bow."
"No, no, we insist!" Tylo said, his voice muffled by the floor.
"It's the least we can do! We didn't realize you were... you."
"But... I don't understand. Special Admissions? It's just a way of saying I got in despite not passing the exam, right? It's not a title or anything."
Rean and Tylo both lifted their heads, their eyes wide with disbelief.
"Not a title?" Rean echoed, his voice incredulous. "It's the highest honor a student can receive! It means the academy saw something truly exceptional in you, something beyond the standard tests!"
"Yeah," Tylo added, still kneeling. "It's like... being handpicked by the principal herself! Everyone knows about the special admissions student. There's only three of you in the entire first year!"
"And not only that there's only been 4 in the past 3 decades…"
"Alright, alright, I get it. Just please get up I don't want you guys hurting your back or anything."
"You're not gonna make us run errands or anything?"
Rean peeked up cautiously.
"No," Julian assured them with a faint smile. "And I'm not connected to anyone like that."
Tylo and Rean rose to their feet, relief washing over their faces.
"So you're not friends with Franz or any of those guys?" Rean asked hesitantly.
"I'm not even sure who that is,"
-Although a bit of lying couldn't hurt, I knew in reality that I shouldn't know who Franz is.
The two roommates exchanged relieved looks once more.
"Just pretend I've always been here," Julian requested sincerely.
"I'd like to avoid attention and just focus on studying."
It took a moment for Rean and Tylo to process this request from someone like Julian, but they nodded enthusiastically.
"You got it! No one will hear a word from us!" Rean declared proudly.
"We'll act like nothing happened!" added Tylo.
Julian's genuine demeanor seemed to win them over completely as they introduced themselves again more confidently. The three settled into an easy camaraderie, as new roommates usually do when unexpected bonds form under unusual circumstances.
Just then, a knock at the door announced the arrival of Julian's uniform.
As he retrieved it, they decided to head for the assembly together, chatting about classes and trying not to be late for the opening ceremony of the year.
…
…
…
The grand hall of the Quaesetor block loomed before Julian, a massive space twice the size of Ziverard Zagata's hall, capable of fitting an entire stadium of football fans.
Nearly 6,000 students packed the venue, creating a massive sound of voices that rose and fell with the shifting crowd.
The seating was meticulously arranged to accommodate the diverse student body: Giants, elves, dwarfs, humans, and sea humans each filled their designated sections.
As he moved through the crowd with Rean and Tylo close behind, Julian's eyes darted over familiar faces.
There was Kaelen Nazara, the main protagonist; Aziel Elandria, one of the female leads; Rivaleno and his nefarious group—all characters whose presence made his head spin.
Despite Julian's attempts to stay incognito, Rean and Tylo were determined to stick with him, eager to solidify their friendship with the special admissions student.
Once they found seats and settled in, they waited nearly 30 minutes for the presentation to begin.
The noise subsided in an instant as Principal Kiera Nyx took the podium. Her commanding presence drew every eye as she welcomed them with a poised and practiced speech.
"Welcome to Aethel Academy, I am Kiera Nyx you're newly appointed Principal and director of teaching, for those of you who don't know me I specialise in the biotechnology and alchemy department, and I'm deeply committed to fostering an environment where every student can thrive."
Her voice resonated through the hall, clear and confident, yet warm and inviting. Julian found himself drawn in by her sincerity.
"Aethel Academy is more than just a school. It's a community, a place where we strive to nurture not only magical prowess but also character, integrity, and a deep understanding of the world around us. We believe in the power of knowledge, the importance of empathy, and the responsibility that comes with wielding magic."
"To our new first-year students, I extend a special welcome. You are the future of our magical world, and we are honored to guide you on your journey. Remember, your potential is limitless, and we are here to support you every step of the way."
"We encourage you to challenge yourselves, to embrace the unknown, and to learn from each other. Aethel Academy is a place where you can discover your true potential, where you can forge lifelong friendships, and where you can become the best version of yourselves…"
"Remember, you are not just students of Aethel Academy. You are its heart and soul. And we are all here to support you in your journey."
After a few more words, she handed over to the student council president and vice president.
"Hello everyone, I am Javier Rowan Aureus, your student council president,"
"And I am Lorraine Wintervale your student council vice president. And today we will be doing our annual introduction to this year's council members!"
The vice president's voice was chipper as they gestured dramatically towards a line of students.
"First, we have our powerful Discipline Officer, Drothgar Jorundyr!"
A hulking figure waved his hands to the crowd with fierce features and fiery orange hair, that gave a sharp nod.
Not only was he part dwarf, but he too was also part giant.
His wrathful eyes scanned the crowd with controlled intensity, leaving no doubt about his reputation as one of the strongest in the academy.
"Next is our Cultural Ambassador, Luna Sky!"
Luna's ethereal presence seemed to captivate everyone as she gracefully acknowledged her peers.
"And our Events Coordinator," Lorraine's voice rose in excitement.
"The legendary Xavi Blanc from Blanchfleur Kingdom!"
A black-haired figure took center stage with an aura of unrivaled power.
-Xavi Blanc! the one that just came back from his solo raiding assignment?!
-They say he's mastered every form of combat magic.
-And he's a genius at strategy.
Even those unfamiliar with him felt the weight of his reputation as he casually smiled at the awestruck students.
The introduction moved to the first-year representatives.
"Our Treasurer, Francine Aureus!"
Francine's composed posture and striking beauty drew immediate attention with all years falling head over heels for her.
-She's even more beautiful than they say,
-Like a goddess, perfect posture, perfect features...
-To think we're the ones in the presence of greatness, it's absolutely insane.
"And finally, our last two members, Secretary Audrey Glacia and Assistant Ezekiel Ventus!"
Julian's breath caught at the sight of Ezekiel.
His old friend had grown into himself.
He was no longer the fragile boy he once known from the past.
Now, he looked much leaner and had put on a bit of muscle.
Although it didn't compare to Julian's build, it was still better than most people he had seen.
"And there you have it!" Lorraine exclaimed, wrapping up the introductions.
"We're thrilled to work with all of you this year!"
